Most of the way through watching...BUT I must stop and say this "This entire band on stage playing are totally amazing!!! "Geez. I am so impressed. MIND BLOWN over this entire video. Did I say thank you for sharing this??!! OMG🎶
I remember buying this on vhs in late eighties as an 18 or 19 year old only a few months after hearing Bruce for the first time ( if a tree falls). For the next 15 years he was all i listened to until i started to broaden my musical horizons. Still go back to him from time to time to reminisce. Living in Ireland i felt like i was the only irish person who had ever heard of him until he visited in the early 90's and i realised there were a few other lucky fellow countrymen.
Well, this saves me trying to get my old VHS player working!
I do not know how I ever missed this man! I am a big music lover. Really I am. Somehow I did not meet up with him until somewhat recently!!! Bruce Cockburn is just amazing!!!! I have been spending a lot of time catching up. I guess that I might contribute not knowing of him was because I am originally a New Yorker.. until I moved up to the Canadian border oh my...The Tragically Hip! But Bruce Cockburn it has also amazed me. Better late than never! I really have wanted a copy of this show. Thank you for posting♥️
this is a wonderful snapshot of that time. He was and is so very talented. This was the year I discovered his music. Creation Dream is still one of my favorites.
have never seen Bruce look so happy and singing so freely
Thank you so much for sharing this. I have wanted to watch this for decades and not been able to find a copy.
Legendary magnificence!
That Kathryn Moses... she's a talent, isn't she? Blown away!
Have wanted to see this for years, caught this tour in Raleigh NC back in 81-82, was blown away and been hooked on Bruce ever since, thanks so much for
There were two shows over two evenings at Danforth Music Hall in Toronto. I was at the first…..and this is my first time seeing the movie! Brilliant seeing it now and remembering.
Incredible version of 'In the Falling Dark'.
I’ve seen Cockburn umpteen times! In my top 5 artists

“Civilization and its Discontents” a song for the ages… especially this one. 😐
This includes my absolute favorite version of Rumours of Glory... lovely to hear the uncut version towards the end where he really gets into the song. I can definitely understand why those vocals got cut and never ended up on any records... but so interesting to hear the song all the way through. How amazing it must have been to be there.
Fantastic! I'm so impressed by the fact that he was actively playing songs like The Trouble with Normal and Civilization and its Discontents a good year or so before they made their official appearance on the 1983 album.
I was 31 in1981 Bruce and I are getting old together all my people are from Nova Scotia eh!
thank you so much... saw this in a music store in the late 80's ... dithered about the cost and walked away.... returned a few days later detemined to buy it.. GONE!! Looked ever since for another copy 35 years later here it is...
