Stereolab sounds so great here in this session. Soft with clarity. Laetitia's voice sounds so unforced, gentle, and sweet, the vocal harmonies are purrfect, and the mix is very well-balanced
No prob. I hope it doesn't get removed. I thought the group was really on top of their game at the end of their run. I don't think they were too happy but still great music.
Breaks my heart watching this as Laetitia looks so unhappy and obviously, there is tension between Tim and her for obvious reasons, but fast forward 12 years and the groop are back touring and re-releasing their back catalog. Hopefully, a switched-on 4/5 on the horizon and you never know, new material.
I think this interview was around the same time. You can tell that Tim and Laetitia are very irritated with one another. I remember another interview with Laetitia where she said later on in their catalog, the band would put together the songs without her; then she would lay the vocals and lyrics on top. ua-cam.com/video/j6ylBEb-170/v-deo.html

Just the second half of Double Rocker

Somebody yanked the last post
No problem. The last one may have been from the official radio station interview. I downloaded it from Koly's site.
Cool. Is that site up & running again?
@@markboyd9275 It looks like it is - www.koly.com/stereolab/. He doesn't have any live recordings up any more.
What's the song that plays at 12:47? I love it but can't find it elsewhere.
Not sure if it's unreleased or a b-side from Chemical Chords. You could ask someone on the Stereolab forum.
the emergency kisses
@@threedeemelodies Thank you. I need to put a song list up since it looks like this the only upload of this video.
It's on the Cobra And Phases Group Play Voltage In The Milky Night LP.
