I dragged my best friend and his wife to this very show. They were not impressed. I remain stunned. They were just as good a few years later at Numbers. Such an amazing band.
I am having a nostalgic evening, I never knew what they even looked like. All I had was their CD’s. Only the music and it was beautiful to me all these years.
Thank you for posting this. Stereolab never ceases to bring tears to my eyes, and this set is no exception. They've produced some clunkers over the years, but when they're on they are on. Glorious. p.s. rip Mary.
Awesome show i remember telling my parents i was going to see streolab they said have fun .I was blown away with this performance it was amazing. 2021 and this band still gets better .
pretty lame crowd ... most are not dancing ... all the Groop's gigs I ever went to in the 90's in the City ... the entire floor was dancing, bouncing ... it would have been impossible for a single person to not have been ... Great American Music Hall for TRNB, MAC, ETK .. and then The Fillmore for D & L ... never anyone just standing and staring ... impossible ... you'd have had to have been in the very back to pull that off ... just saying ... and remembering ... yeah ... we were a sweaty, dripping mess after their gigs ... always ...

You were musically ahead of them by decades. tbh

Incredible timeless group. I'll never cease listening to their body of work.
I love the Miles Davis In A Silent Way playing in the background.
Just a year or two too early for me, I saw them at Numbers a bit later. RIP Fitzgerald’s.
