    Love breaking out of the overcast into the sunshine! One of my favorite parts of flying. Enjoyed the flight.

    Another good video and I have to say I enjoy your personality and disposition. You seem like an easy going guy and I think it would be nice to have you as a pilot on any flight.

    Loved the cockpit view breaking out of the clouds there between the 2 layers. AMAZING! UA-cam is the only way I get to see things like that, so I always appreciate your videos. My whole life I had no idea there was this other world that I've been missing out on. Thanks for sharing! 👍 👍

    Hi Capt Your Videos are always top notch and top shelf. I have been breathing Avgas and Jet-A for over 44 years now in varies types from singles to DC-8`s many years ago and hung up the wings for hire a few years back. I love watching the new technology and automation and think about how far this industry has come in 44 years. The pilots have so much going for them and so many opportunities and you play a very big part in getting them in the air.Keep doing what you are doing and fly safe. Take care and have a Great Holiday Season.

    Fun fact that stood out the most to me, you have to hook up your oxygen mask. Shaun on Corporate Pilot Life channel showed the oxygen mask pops out of a pocket on the side the G4 then wraps around the pilots head quite tightly on it's own so the pilot only needs one hand to deploy. He had to take that video down when he switched companies in case any goes looking for it. Thanks for all the additional fun facts, enjoyed them all.

    I got to go up to 44,000 ft. on a check flight in a Citation II back in 1984 from the Citation Service Center here in Wichita. It was cool to punch through the ceiling at 800ft. after being rained on for 3 days on the ground. This video reminded me of that flight.

    I find it interesting that in all my years of corporate flying, I never flew single pilot. Guess all the companies I flew for just wanted two of us up front.

    Love your videos. You have solid techniques...well, you are a pro! I am always learning, and these are inspiring. I was at Spirit a little over a year ago, in St Louis area with a T-6 guy you may know who was showing me around there. Greg Vallero. I know he, like you, fly jets there. Maybe you even work together there. He's a great guy and a good instructor, class act. Steve was giving me initial instruction out of Creve Coeur near you for my vintage Grumman TBM Avenger torpedo bomber (N337VT) warbird, well, that was before my big mishap in it...thats another story. Keep up the great vids! Merry Christmas.

    I'm sure the following has crossed your mind. Your single pilot, ate a meal at a strange restaurant, jump back in this excellent machine and blast off. An hour later food poisoning sets in. There you are without a co pilot at FL410 wishing the owner had sprung for the cost of another pilot on board. That said always enjoy your excellent videos. Fair weather wishes to you this coming year.

      Keep studying your aviation courses.. read every aviation magazine as knowledge is powerful Dont get cocky or arrogant as sure as hell you will come down hard. Be gracious and humble as you work to fulfill your dreams. I had 40 wonderful years after getting my PPL and Instrument rating and then commercial. Joined an international airline as a junior first officer on Boeing 737 and 727. Graduated to the best aircraft in the world and that as loveable 747 and finally retired after flying the 400 series 747. Today I own an Aero Commander 690b with long range tanks and can fly the length and width of my country without the need to stop and take on more fuel. I cruise at 420knots indicated at 36,000ft and am above the weather. I wish you all the best in your chosen career and hope you have a successful career. Good luck and happy Christmas to you.

    Is it possible to turn off that notification sound when you are connected to the next controller frequency? I really dislike that.

    Nice video. Can you video the prices for the FBO services and fuel at the different airports?

    • @captmoonbeam
      @captmoonbeam  6 років тому

      They don't post the prices on a board. I'll just mention it.

    Ive asked before but dont know if you saw. Why dont you fly into kpie instead? Landing fees are alot cheaper and its a easier airport

    Wow, what a smooth landing, I keep looking for a "bouncy' landing from you, but like you say, the edit button takes care of that..hehe...and I know that you don't do that..thanks for good video..

    So why don't you fly the plane home? Is the owner a pilot that doesn't require your services?

    • @captmoonbeam
      @captmoonbeam  6 років тому

      The owner has a single pilot type in the M2 and is current. Sometimes he flies it and other times he sits in back. On this trip he flew it from Nassau to Tampa and I airlined down and flew he and his wife back a few days later.

    I have a question! It’s too late in life for me to ever become the kind of pilot u r , unless I win the magamillions lottery, and we all know the chances of that! What video number, if any, do you tell about how u got where u r today? Thanks from old man mike in Gulfport Mississippi!

      Wow, that's a tough one. I've posted over 500 videos{deleted a lot}. They were just to cringe worthy to watch. I know it was before the vlogs. .......Sorry. couldn't find it. I'll have to do another one.

    great vid but having the captioning esp when what is being translated doesn't even match what is being said is kinda irritating,
