Another good video and I have to say I enjoy your personality and disposition. You seem like an easy going guy and I think it would be nice to have you as a pilot on any flight.
Loved the cockpit view breaking out of the clouds there between the 2 layers. AMAZING! UA-cam is the only way I get to see things like that, so I always appreciate your videos. My whole life I had no idea there was this other world that I've been missing out on. Thanks for sharing! 👍 👍
Hi Capt Your Videos are always top notch and top shelf. I have been breathing Avgas and Jet-A for over 44 years now in varies types from singles to DC-8`s many years ago and hung up the wings for hire a few years back. I love watching the new technology and automation and think about how far this industry has come in 44 years. The pilots have so much going for them and so many opportunities and you play a very big part in getting them in the air.Keep doing what you are doing and fly safe. Take care and have a Great Holiday Season.
this sim flyer (il-2, mostly in a Vought, eaglelander3d, in a Grumman) sees again and again across this guy's different cessna landings a sweet master of sink rate... Salute Sir!
I really enjoy your videos Capt. Thanks for taking the time to bring us along...and for giving the more personal approach to flying corporate/professional. I appreciate it.
Fun fact that stood out the most to me, you have to hook up your oxygen mask. Shaun on Corporate Pilot Life channel showed the oxygen mask pops out of a pocket on the side the G4 then wraps around the pilots head quite tightly on it's own so the pilot only needs one hand to deploy. He had to take that video down when he switched companies in case any goes looking for it. Thanks for all the additional fun facts, enjoyed them all.
I got to go up to 44,000 ft. on a check flight in a Citation II back in 1984 from the Citation Service Center here in Wichita. It was cool to punch through the ceiling at 800ft. after being rained on for 3 days on the ground. This video reminded me of that flight.
I find it interesting that in all my years of corporate flying, I never flew single pilot. Guess all the companies I flew for just wanted two of us up front. Enjoyed your video, hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
captmoonbeam I doubt you will remember but a while ago I asked ya on youtube about Chem-trails. Just curious if ya do. I looked for the comment couldent find it tho
I’ve learned so much watching your videos over the past few years! Thanks for the quality content! I hope we cross paths if you’re ever in the Houston area!
Very crappy weather - yes. Messy IMC flying out of St Louis! Staying in Nassau would have been very tempting. Big Happy Christmas to you Jim and Kris and best for new year. Thanks for the video. :)
Love your videos. You have solid techniques...well, you are a pro! I am always learning, and these are inspiring. I was at Spirit a little over a year ago, in St Louis area with a T-6 guy you may know who was showing me around there. Greg Vallero. I know he, like you, fly jets there. Maybe you even work together there. He's a great guy and a good instructor, class act. Steve was giving me initial instruction out of Creve Coeur near you for my vintage Grumman TBM Avenger torpedo bomber (N337VT) warbird, well, that was before my big mishap in it...thats another story. Keep up the great vids! Merry Christmas.
I'm sure the following has crossed your mind. Your single pilot, ate a meal at a strange restaurant, jump back in this excellent machine and blast off. An hour later food poisoning sets in. There you are without a co pilot at FL410 wishing the owner had sprung for the cost of another pilot on board. That said always enjoy your excellent videos. Fair weather wishes to you this coming year.
I hear you about the warmer place to be...Be here in Chicago during the winter months, yes, I always look for a warmer place to go to!!!!!!! Thanks for letting me laugh!!!! Fly safe....
@@captmoonbeam Yes, the winters...I kept tell my Mother that we need to move somewhere warmer as we get older. I do like Florida or Cali. We have family and friends in both states..Well, my Mother left us last year and now I have to make the judgement call as to which place I want to live..Thanks...
Really enjoyed the walk round and pre-flight Jim. Hope you made it back from Nassau OK? If you don't post up again before Christmas then hope you and your family have a good Christmas and look forward to more videos in 2019.
Some of your aircraft have an AOA display next to center of windshield. I've never flown a plane with one. Maybe you could cover it's use sometime. Good video as always. Thanks.
Love breaking through the tops, except when I forget to put sunglasses on first. How is customs in Nassau? I will be going there myself in a few weeks. I think I might even get to stay which would be awesome.
Hi Captain, I have a quick question about the M2...is there a lavatory on the plane? Whenever you show the passenger seating I look to the rear of the aircraft and never see a door in the back where a lav usually is. I'm a long-time subscriber and love your channel...thanks so much for the great videos!!

It's the angle of attack vane, It used to measure the percentage of lift the wing is generating It transmits to an indicator in the cockpit.
Flying in the rain! Love it! Is the cockpit heated out of curiosity?
Press on, Regardless!
Right on.

I really enjoyed seeing Signature FBO at Tampa. Do you know Jimmy or Capt. AL? I used to work with them.
Keep up the great videos.
The camera locations were great. How does the M2 climb at max gross? Do you have to step climb?
At max gross temperature makes a big difference. I'll usually go to 36 or 37 then step up.
Fantastic !!!. Was the the southwest available ?
Thanks, It'll be in the next video....
Capt. Great video quality - new camera? How is the daily workout coming along?
I fall in and out of it but, keep going back to the workout. I bought a gopro 6 and a new phone a samsung 9 note.
Pretty quiet flight. How often do you fly the M2 single pilot and empty?
I fly it one to three times a month and probably every third flight is an empty leg.
Hi Capt, I was about to ask if Cessna is putting winglets on their jets, but I saw a brief clipof the wing and seeing the small winglet. Jet
I think the days is coming when all the aircraft manufacturers will be doing that.
I also wanted to comment on the glass cockpit, really nice touch screen and all
JIm,
Did I miss you checking the fuel filter bypass on the engine preflight or am I confusing this with another slotation?
you didn't miss it. It wasn';t in the video. too dark in the cowling to get the video so I skipped it.
Great video! I like this airplane better than the other Citation. Is the nose baggage compartment pressurized?
thanks. No, neither is the tail compartment.

Sometimes liquids will leak or freeze. Best to keep them in the cabin.

Not that I know of but maybe one day.

Well Captain Great Video. So was Southwest booked? Wondered how u made it home?
the next video will be a continuation of this one. yes, I was able to get on the next flight.
Is it possible to turn off that notification sound when you are connected to the next controller frequency? I really dislike that.
Sorry, not that I know of.
Nice video. Can you video the prices for the FBO services and fuel at the different airports?
They don't post the prices on a board. I'll just mention it.
Ive asked before but dont know if you saw. Why dont you fly into kpie instead? Landing fees are alot cheaper and its a easier airport
We have a helicopter based there.
Thumb up for TPA.
