5 years on a zx6r and in 2018 switched for a 400 KRT, best decision ever. The 400 is actually faster on the twisties, it is faster than 99.9999 of cars on the road. And last, it is super comfortable with the thicker seat. I will give you only 1 advice, ride in the left 1/3 of the lane, so to be righ in front of the car driver. Also wear a super brigh yellow vest over your suit, it will save your life.

@@itsnorrin To be honest, I would chose the 2022 RC 390 over the 400 because it has CORNERING ABS. I had a huge accident 10+ years ago because I did an emergency braking on sand covered asphalt. My 400 has ABS and it has saved me many times from a spill. Cornering ABS would be so much safer, because you can brake has hard as you wand fully lean in a corner and the bike would never fail you.

ABSOLUTELY! 💪 its lightweight, very forgiving and will last you a long time. Experienced track riders even use it and go crazy with the builds so its an amazing machine 👍

Congrats on getting the bike! 🙌 for insurance it will most likely be 100-175 for full coverage. NY is a hotzone for motorcyclists so insurance will be high. Also depends how long you were riding for. Hope this helps!

You’re on the path to have your first bike, congrats! 🙌 My advice to you, either you can get a 50cc dirt bike and learn how to use the clutch and basic balance manuevers OR you can begin on a 300cc or 400cc bike and begin to learn that way (all depends how willing you are to pay for the upgrades if anything goes bad haha). First learn how to use the clutch! Once you learn that, honestly its like riding a bike but MUCH MORE work to properly manuever. And don’t cheap out of riding gear, get proper boots, armored pants and a jacket. Your skin will thank you later 👍

Norton ECU reflash, Akropovich header, Norton velocity stacks, K&N air filter and airbox mod. Would do that before anything. Really woke up my Ninja!!
