Hey guys! I've been wondering, should I get the ninja 500 SE, the Aprilia rs 475 or the cbr500r? I've kinda narrowed it down to only the ninja and rs 457 but what are your guys' opinion on these bikes? thanks
I'm going to have a look-see at a Ninja 500 SE KRT at a local dealership in just a couple of hours. I'm most likely not going to buy one this year, but unless Yamaha puls a Ninja-beating R5 out of the hat in time for spring next year, the 500 SE will be my next bike. :) It will be my first bike since I sold my last one ('84 Suzuki GSX 250 ES) back in 2006.
@@motolexi Thanks. Being 48, safety is much higher on my list of priorities as they were back in '95 when I got my first bike ('86 Honda CB 250 RS). The dealer I went to today had a lot of much bigger used bikes in the same prize range or cheaper as the 500, but most of them would just get me killed. I think the 45.4hp of the A2-spec we get here in Europe is just right for me. Same power as the '91 GSX-R 250 I had for a brief time back in the late 90's, but a bit heavier (148kg vs. 172kg). And the front looks like the head of a dragon, what's not to like about that? :)

Why'd you choose the 500 over something like 600 or 650? Also why a ninja when it's your first bike? I noticed every new biker buys a street/performance bike as their first
@@vgfan80 personally i choose the 500 because i thought it was good in between bike for me. I didn’t want a 300-400cc bike but i also knew as a new biker i wasn’t ready for a 600 yet either. i had sat on my bfs 600 and it was too big for me and i wasn’t comfortable with it. I’m 5’2. Then i was looking at the CBR500 but price played into that so the ninja was the best options for me :) sorry that was long winded

How do you not break those nails off while riding? I have short nails and I still break them on the clutch and brake levers sometimes.
i sive up my gloves and i have not gotten my nails caught on my levers yet haha they’ve been pretty sturdy lol

How many inches are your clipon's lowered? Did you change your fork oil to 20WT or is it the original fork oil?
all original parts got lowering links and lowered front and back about 2-3 inches
