Great vid👊 managed to get 11 coins out of a trashy field which I was going to give up on, I did change my reject up to 16 as the detector was going spare!
Hey buddy thanks I'm going to try this today out in the freshly chopped field. I upgraded from the 600 and feels like I've went backwards had loads of luck with the 600 but since I've had the 800 aghh fingers crossed. I'll update you later
Hi Chris, I've been using your settings lately and they're great however I still have chunks of iron ringing clear at, usually, around 15 or 16. I dig it thinking its lead, or any number of other things, but I keep getting tricked by iron. Any idea what I can do to better identify big iron?
Thanks for the Vid..I use a very similar set as a starting point and might tweak as the day goes on. The biggest difference is that I don't use a threshold tone, as that's what ML advise for these sort of settings. Can you explain if the threshold helps you in any way? I know it nulls over a deep target, but I believe it would null regardless of ferrous or non ferrous?
Hi Peter I personally just like to hear those nulls it really is just a preference but it is one that helps me gauge if my recovery speed etc is setup correctly
Hi Chris I'm just a beginner and trying to learn my nox 800 would you say for detecting all types of fields would this be the best settings for me to begin with thanks.😃🏴
Hey Robin the settings will stay or you could save it under the user profile function too. Hope you are well mate I'm locked down with Covid at the moment.
Hi, Why when i am setting my nox to your programme, on tone volume you have a T1 up on the screen but on mine I have the park beach and field setting showing with no ti
Hi Paul are you long pressing? Just explain again please pal because a long press when in volume should take you in to a screen to setup the individual tone volumes
@@RobinHood-uv6uw hi Robin can't remember the date but it was one of the first batch to arrive in the UK when it was released! I think it takes a while to get used to.... you know spotting the iffy signals that turn out to be non ferrous! Realistically it will take around 6 months of good usage to start to feel like you've bonded with it! Then after that you will still find yourself improving more with it as time goes on. Find a setup you like.... stick with it and get to know the machines quirks in that setup. I use this setup all the time now and just alter sensitivity and recovery speed to suit the site and occasionally ground balance. I really feel like I know this setup now and really understand what the machine is telling me.
My nox 800 won’t go any lower than 6 inches with a hammered in an air test. I’m using beach one setting with a recovery speed of 4. Is that normal or is it a bad depth?
Hey Charlie that doesnt sound right mate.... what sensitivity are you running? I will do a video tonight of mine in air for you to show you what mine gets! Are you getting a lot of EMI?
Hi Marc I don't use it in full rejection but in theory it should work... why do you run in that full rejection? With my settings the iron only sounds very quiet and a low buzz.... using it in my setup vastly decreases target masking next to iron.... as soon as you use the rejection it will not perform as well in mineralised conditions. If you want to run it in rejection I can do some experiments to see how it compares in the field for you.
Yes I'm clearly talking about the threshold volume I'm on the threshold section talking about pitch and then volume... I've already done the main volume earlier on the video as its a walk through of the settings. Thanks for querying though
Comedy genius lol I must admit I was immediately conscious of it myself but thought sod it I wont record it again because it was spontaneous and not scripted.
Thank you for making this video. I used your settings and found my first farm silvers here in the USA.
I'm glad they are working for you
Great vid👊 managed to get 11 coins out of a trashy field which I was going to give up on, I did change my reject up to 16 as the detector was going spare!
Thanks for sharing your settings. I need to adjust my iron tones so it’s not so loud

No worries it's a great machine.... you just need a bit of luck
Since I've put these settings I've found some silver coins and a few hammered coins. Thank you bud 🫡
Cant wait to get out on the fields again! sorry I'm not posting any content but Covid has put a stop to my time in the fields at the moment
Any piles of dead Covid bodies in the fields yet?

I need a day to just chill so basically I am watching all your videos today thanks
I need to do some more mate... will do some this summer
Thanks, Chris! New subscriber. I am a beach hunter trying to expand my horizons so this really helps!! cricket
Glad it has helped.... I'm not a beach hunter sadly but I love to do it when I get chance

Hey John to start off maybe up the f2 to 3 and gradually work it back to zero over the coming weeks! This will help you dig less iron
Great video I am going to get a equinox shortly just found your video
Cheers, if you have any issues give me a shout I will happily try to help..... Good luck
Hi,what setting is good for rainy jungles?
Why is volume obviously set to maximum?
Hi Chris, when you set a programme, can you save it for as long as? Seasons greetings to you pal.
Hey Robin the settings will stay or you could save it under the user profile function too. Hope you are well mate I'm locked down with Covid at the moment.
Thanks for the reply Chris, sorry to hear you have covid, get well soon mate.

Brilliant advice, thank you.
No worries, good luck
Hi Chris, when did you first get the Nox 800, and how long did it take you to get to know it?

Thanks again Chris.
Another question please Chris, do you re-charge the battery after every trip, just to top it up?
The etrac was king, now everyone is saying the nox is the new kid on the block. A comparison from someone would be nice. 🤔
To this day I still dont understand what the benefit of having threshold on is 😂
You want to hear any nulling ....this helps you understand the ground conditions and get an overall picture of what the detector is encountering

@@dynamite1976 I’ll have a look mate, I think because I was doing it inside it affected the results.
Yes I think EMI can really effect beach mode
I need to pay equinox 800
I live in jordan middle east
Can you help me for that
Interesting
Can you use these same setting with all metal off

All I want to know where is the erm setting as erm I can’t find it in settings on the erm Equinox 800
Comedy genius lol

Your advice on the Nox 800 Chris is perfect. 👍👍👍
Great advice thanks buddy
