I’m in Cornwall and the ancient settings are perfect for the highly mineralised ground here and iv found some nice stuff but in some of the marshy peaty areas finds are deep so this might just be a game changer for me as just a few tweaks to the ancient program I love to use. HH Sid , cheers for sharing. 👍
I found a hammered at 5” with a deus and then went back over it with the nox with fe 0 and recovery 2 and found a hammered at 14”+ it gave a clean one way signal and iron at 90 degrees, couldn’t believe it. Only found it with the pinpointer when the plug came out as nox wouldn’t get it with the air between, I’ll give these settings a go, cheers👍
Cheers mate, as usual good presentation 👍. I've just swapped over to the nox from my simplex a week ago and already found it amazing, got a 15inch coil fitted the other night too and installed some settings from some of you guys and ready to try out.. Will give yours a bash too, club dig Sunday so can't wait... cheers mate and happy swingin 😉😁😎😎
Thanks for sharing. I'm new and somewhat struggling on my Nox learning journey. I'm finding a lot that when it finds a target, it showing a lot deeper than the target actually is. Especially on a pebble beach. What's that all about and it something I'm doing wrong? Any guidance appreciated.
I've spent the last couple of days watching your videos and after a year of owning my 800 I'm finally learning what these settings do instead of just sticking to the first ones I set it up with. Your videos are extremely helpful mate. I'm off to a site I've hammered this year and it's gone quiet. Now I've opened the machine up and brought -1 and-2 into play and also lowered my recovery speed for a bit more depth. Will keep you posted! Cheers sid you're a massive help!
@@englandshistory well mate i found 2 hammered, one being a Edward VI York Penny and loads of other signals in a field that's been dead quiet since I hammered it! Won't be changing these settings in a hurry!

Thanks bud,Will get this a try on the field I’ve had my hammies off when it finally stops raining and the water drains off the fields mate New name suggestion “Sids spud deep setting”
Trying the settings tomorrow, for the actual swing speed what would you class as slow and low as i think i am slow i count 2 seconds to the left and two seconds to the right, is there any videos that shows a good swing speed
Just a case of making sure your going slow enough to suit the ground… the more the signals the slower you go… you want to be able to differentiate the signals so they stand out and not a blur
