Gotta love how Dooku owns this fight by keeping obi and Ani out of their comfort zones. He presses Anakin who's usually offensive and forces Obi wan to go on the offense
It's a good, thought out fight, Dooku knows he can't utterly dominate them like he did in his first duel, they've gotten too strong for that, so he pruposefully presses their weakness, doing basically what he did in RotS and keeping Obi Wan out of the fight as much as possible, since on his own, he's really not cut out for Dooku's style, but with Anakin, he's pretty much making the two of the invicible. Not only that but Obi Wan realises that out of him and Anakin, Anakin is a much better fit to fight Dooku, so he goes full support, including helping Anakin stay in the fight by pushing him onto the ship Dooku had escaped onto.
Qui Gon didn’t quite undo the prequel order’s influence on kenobi in the time he spent as his mentor. But he certainly made progress. Obi wan is only stiff when dealing with the order and relaying what he feels is the order’s wisdom to Anakin. When it comes to love and even attachment in general, kenobi is much more liberal with the Jedi tenets then he cares to admit. Satine and even Anakin prove this. A lot of what kenobi did for Anakin was great, but at the end of the day he was never gonna outplay palpatine or outmatch the manipulation with his genuine brotherly connection. Anakin needed the more flexible and fatherlike mentorship qui gon would’ve provided. And without Qui Gon’s influence obi-wan spent his last few developmental years riding the high of “killing” the first sith in ages and spending too much time with the jedi council. He fell back into some of their arrogance and poor habits. Maybe palpating orchestrated some kinda sith miasma within the council chambers that clouded their judgement and slightly nudged them toward exaggerating their less desirable traits. We know he used some kind of smokescreen to conceal his power so who knows, it could be multifaceted. TLDR: RIP Qui Gon
Dooku: The Senate is under the control of the dark lord of the sith. Kenobi: you lie.. //during order 66// Kenobi: chancellor palpatine is evil!!! Anakin: Liar!!! Dooku force ghost: oh dear lord.. i had my head cut off for this?
I love the context of this fight. These guys were all RUSHING , palpatine and dooku are freaking out about syfo dyas being found and their plan exposed, yet when dooku finally catches up like that slow friend out of breath, he still maintains his charismatic cool - “sometimes things are.. just that important..” Gotta love the guy
Easily one of my favorite duels in all of Star Wars. They way Dooku maintains control of the fight, the way Anakin and Obi Wan are completely in sync and fighting truly as master and apprentice, the context and desperation, and ofcourse, Dooku never losing his composure even when completely out numbered. Underrated scene that’s easily one of the GOATs
Dooku was like the perfect example of a good duelist.. he realized his opponents weaknesses fast and he was also mindful of his surroundings all the time.. in this fight he was always in the very best position for himself and he also forced Anakin on the defensive and Obi-Wan on the offensive cause he knew that is not their fighting stlye
Every moves Dooku make is either to Evade, Unbalance or Seperate Anakin and Obi-Wan. Dooku never gets into a Lightsaber Lock with either, He always is pushing Anakin on the Defensive while forcing Obi-Wan to go on the Offense. Also, Every time Dooku swings at Anakin or Obi-Wan, he aims for the limbs, He's trying to cripple them.
Great observation. I may add tho this scene also showcases how deadly Anakin and Obi Wan are when they work together. Yes, Dooku draws them out of their preferred fighting styles but note how quickly Anakin and Kenobi recover and immediately put Dooku on the retreat. Anakin and Obi Wan have really come into their own since Episode II. Great details by Filoni.
That is brilliant on Dooku's part. Forcing each into roles opposite their fighting styles, intentionally fighting each at their weakest roles during the fight.
This scene makes Revenge of the Sith a little bit funnier. "My powers have doubled since the last time we met, Count." "Bro what? That was like the other day."
I love the way he just keeps anakin from pressing any sort of offense cause he knows his forms weaknesses and knows how to compensate for them. Dooku really is a master of lightsaber combat
@@kevin-2.1yes, so dooku is keeping him on the defense The opposite is the case with obi-wan, who's form 3 is defensive, so dooku was making him take the offense
@@thalmoragent9344 That was just because Dooku was old and thus tired at that point, in part because he defied Palpatine's orders and over exerted himself to take Obi-Wan out non-lethally. Had he gone for the kill or had he been even just a decade younger, Dooku would've still curbed both. Yoda did say in The Mission to Tatooine that Dooku was not as formidable as he was when he was still at the Jedi Order. His age was showing.
yup. he managed to separate them jsut enough to put them on his terms, unbalanced. making anakin play defense and forcing kenobi to go offense. and you could tell how....uncomfortable both anakin and obi-wan looked at the time lol
I really liked how Dooku made Obi-Wan and Anakin fight in styles neither are comfortable with. Obi-Wan on offense and Anakin on defence. He definitely exposed both of their flaws.
@@Tuturial464He did but didn't push as hard as he did during the Clone Wars. They were less experienced and weren’t full masters in their forms yet. Pretty sure Anakin by that point didn't even use form 5 Makashi or wasn’t as experienced in it. And of course Kenobi wasn't the undisputed master in Form 3 as he would later become.
1:52 I love that Dooku saw what’s going to happened and was quick to act. I also love that Dooku was flexible like in revenge of the sith, and they’re moves are good.
I love how dooku doesn’t need to make contact with every single saber sing thrown his way, in fact he makes it a point to dodge as many of them as he can. I imagine that throws the balance off of your combatants if you’re just constantly whiffing.
oh absolutely. i feel anakin would need saber impacts to learn your defense to properly pummel you. while obi wan sorta needs it to maybe find openings. obi-wan whiffing wont effect him much since hes defensive. but anakin?? oh, i fully imagine anakin continually whiffing would piss him off and make him more aggressive and reckless lolol
I love how this fight is the last one between Anakin, Obi wan and dooku before they face off again in revenge of the Sith. Because it still remains consistent with Obi wan saying “this time we’ll take him together” since at the end Obi wan sent Anakin flying after Dooku. And it remains consistent with Obi wan saying “you won’t get away this time Dooku”
But how can Anakin’s line “my powers have doubled since the last time we met”. Can it really double in power in what seems like a couple of months at most 😅
@@LanceNoir there is something like 8-10 months. And yes you can see here that even together dooku can own them while in ROTS Anakin could defeat him alone so « my power have doubled » isn’t without founding .
@@stormbringer2840 I mean that's kind of a stretch, we know count dooku was instructed to persuade Anakin to turn to the dark side he wasn't trying to kill him in ROTS and didn't realize Palpatine set him up until it was too late. Anyways the real answer is still: George Lucas didn't plan ahead for the Clone Wars so the lines "my powers have doubled since the last time we met" is meant for AOTC.
@@LanceNoires the line was meant for EpII, but then we remember Anakin is cocky, so we can just say that he was just being cocky saying his powers have doubled in a short time
Form III was actually developed to counter Form II's defensive weaknesses, particularly it being ill-suited to deflecting blasterfire, so it is ideally suited to fighting a master of it as long as the Form III user can maintain their stamina and composure.
@@samalvey8168 dude, those devleopments were meant for more pracical combat situations, where in conflicts without actual dueling, or without immediate locked matches one on one, where blaster fire in a chaotic and overwhelming environment comes into play, the third form is used to develop a simple and steadfast line of defense, compared to form 2's design for dueling
To be fair, Form II is just the best lightsaber combat form. Even Sidious held resentment towards Dooku because it made Dooku a better duelist than himself. The only reason Dooku eventually lost was age. Form II doesn't really have weaknesses in lightsaber combat. Its only weakness is being shit against blaster bolts.
@@TheStraightestWhitest Actually, it did have one weakness against lightsabers, namely its lack of kinetic energy. Form II placed emphasis on light, precise, fast and elegant bladework, leaving it potentially weak against a powerful offence (Form V) or strong defence (Form III).
@@samalvey8168 It's total kryptonite to Form III and superb against Form V. Strong never works when it isn't met with resistance, but rather taken for a ride and simply put off balance using its own momentum. That's literally what entire sports such as Judo are built upon. The dueling form is the dueling form for a reason. It's the same as that in a duel, nothing beat a small sword or a rapier. Something Christopher Lee knew all too well.
@@LegendaryCaptaindon’t forget Kenobi’s upset against savage and maul simultaneously. Without mauls desperate push I doubt he could’ve clutched the 1v1 after watching Savage get dismembered. It was all he had to assure they both escaped. Imo, it was such a bad loss for Maul that he didn’t try dueling kenobi again until Tattooine. He resorts to getting his revenge psychologically by killing Satine. And instead of urging kenobi toward the dark, it grounds him in his convictions. That’s why there’s no urgency to go with Ahsoka for revenge, he trusts the legacy of his mentorship and the skills of Ahsoka, and feels no need to return maul’s petty vengeance. Even when kenobi finally gets his vengeance, both for Qui Gon and Satine, there’s no malice. He puts maul at peace by alluding to Luke’s vengeance, and even honors him with the same burial he gave the very master that Maul killed. So yeah, maul and savage getting wrecked is in my top 5 at least.
I do like How Dooku doesn't retreat out of cowardice like most sith. But simply recognition that he's not going to win and that it's stupid to continue a lost cause.
Christopher Lee would have a heart attack within the first few jumps 💀 not to mention he is already gone so I dont know how that would be possible but it still would be amazing to see
Dooku was in top form during this whole fight. Its hard to believe he's in his 80s by this point. Guess he woke up on the right side of the bed that morning. Then again this is probably the only character that can fight in their pajamas and still look cool doing it.
@crodas6168probably but think of it as this weak body reinforced by the force is strong but a strong body reinforced by the force could be even stronger
0:58 - 1:12 Dooku's flexing is just at another level. Pressing Anakin so he would fight defensively while Kenobi would fight offensively... Truly a tactical genius. Dooku may not be the best duelist ever (still an s tier duelist though), but he is clearly classy as fuck and the fanciest duelist that galaxy has ever had. Just look at him how he moves while he is dueling two high tier Jedi... The fact Dooku is 83 years old in this episode makes it better, and he was fighting these two young high tier Jedi. Anakin is 22 here and Obi Wan 35-36. They are by all menas physically superior to Dooku, yet my old guy literally threw Kenobi like nothing and kicked Anakin who's a tank. Sorry for the Dooku Wank, it's just this show really shows how badass Dooku can be 🥺. PS: Sorry if you read bad english guys, it's not my first language.
this show makes dooku look so cool it's great, especially considering how stupid his character is in the prequels (no disrespect to christolee, he was great)
@@yamatoclassbattleship he's not a real character, has no motivation for his actions. he's just a henchman when he could've been so much more, as shown by the tv show and other material, again I'm only criticizing the movie, in the context of only taking that into account.
@@SharkMako Too early for the sith grand plan. Dooku is not trying to kill them here, but rather cripple them. Not to mention Dooku actually wanted Kenobi om his side while he wanted Anakin dead like nothing else.
Dooku never wanted to kill obi-wan nor harm him like he did anakin, and I believe he didn’t want to kill them, he let them live every single battle, mostl likely because of qui-gon, who was his favorite student and friend
Well he hated Anakin (Most likely because he saw his younger self in Anakin) but yeah, he did have a soft spot for Obi-Wan. In fact in ROTS Dooku threw a monkey wrench in Sidious' plans when he went against the script and only knocked Obi-Wan out instead of killing him like Sidious wanted. If Dooku hadn't spared Obi-Wan's life, then Obi-Wan wouldn't have been around to later cripple Anakin the way he did
@@dreadrathFunny how Dooku got the last laugh. By letting Obi-Wan live, Luke got trained and set on his path as a Jedi, Vader defaulted, and Sidious was overthrown.
Its crazy how well choregraphed even the subtle force movements are. I at first thought Dooku could've been cut down easily as he telegraphed too much and left wide saber swings, only to realize... _Anakin wasn't missing, Dooku was using his other hand to push Anakin's saber away_ What a great fight, with lots of respect to Light Saber+ Force Forms

“I told you everything you needed to know on Geonosis all those years ago Kenobi, You should have joined me” He has Sith eyes while saying this, which he rarely ever has Sith eyes
He was probably very angry because in AOTC he said Qui Gon would understand and as Kenobi was Qui Gon's apprentice, he wanted Obi Wan to join him. Dooku probably wanted to kill Sidious with the help of Kenobi and then rule the galaxy their way.
@@karolclark791 yes . He didn’t abandon the idea either , he planned to do that using ventress later ( which is why sidious wanted her dead ) then Quinlan vos .
@@miguelmartinez7424 I don’t know what you’re looking at, Dooku could have killed Kenobi twice in this episode xd. In revenge of the Sith, he also spared Kenobi, and lost to Anakin only because Anakin turned on Darth Vader with a bonus in the form of fear for his friends, at the same time Dooku was confused and did not understand when to stop holding back. Both Jedi would be dead if Dooku wanted him to, especially if he hated them
This is my favourite dooku scene and forsure favourite animated Star Wars scene the foreshadowing to their next meeting is awesome and seeing a confident and full form dooku is a treat as always

Ever since episode 3 came out me and my 2 cousins would reenact dooku v ani+obi. I loved his one hand back fencing style pose he did. Also helped he was voiced/acted by Christopher Lee; Absolute champion of all champions, RIP.
In Disney canon, per the dark disciple novel that takes place after this battle, the only way to defeat Dooku is through anger fear and hatred. Notice in this duel that anakin isn't using any of those and is easily handled. Dooku is truly more powerful than a any jedi save for yoda, and his sword mastery is more than a match for almost all of them. Do defeat Dooku. You must fight fire with fire (doesn't apply to Yoda)
@Azun Kor Dooku has also lost to Quinlan Voss when he was a full darkside user (As Dookus secret apprentice) because of the power increase Voss received from his rage. Dooku has top tier defense but can be tackled and dropped. With open space, and not a 2v1, Dooku would have been able to handle Savage Opress with relative ease.
@Kagami Uchiha The Beast it's not that simple. Allow me to explain. In new canon, Dooku is nearly UNBEATABLE without the combatant using anger fear and hatred (a well established power increase, strength, stamina, etc). This combatant would be a jedi, who has reached the limit of what they can do (jedi vows) against Tyranus (sabers or force ability, he's almost unmatched) therefore in order to SURPASS dooku, you would either need to break jedi vows or fall to the dark and receive a power bump, and, even with that initial dark turn, Dooku would most likely still dominate.
@Kagami Uchiha The Beast I'm fully aware of of the duels quinlan and dooku had. They only have 2 true duels, the first is a 2v1 and dooku dominates, and quinlan was already using darkside emotions, just not the "final layer" once he dug deep for the final layer, he was able to drop dooku to the ground, disarming him, but not defeating him. Darkside emotions allow brutal power that can drop Dooku, not necessarily defeat him. After months of torture, Dooku created a darkside beast in Quinlan, and, later they have a proper 1v1 and Quinlan gets it done. Dooku is the perfect anti jedi duelist, with perfect defense and grace, but can lose to other powerhouse darkside users.
@Kagami Uchiha The Beast it's not his power level, it's the brute power he's throwing around. When he swings hard and lands on a block, it sends combatants flying back. He lands this on Sidious as well. Something they would have to work around and adjust to mid combat
So nice to actually see Dooku stop playing with Anakin for once and dial it up to about 85%. Despite the huge gains Obi and Ani made in the previous 2.5 years, Dooku was still schooling them, and, once again, spared Obi-Wan's life. The part where he knees Obi-Wan in the gut, and hip-tosses him, he had Obi-Wan's sword arm pinned and had a wide open shot to his chest. He didn't take it. He also could have simply Force Pushed Obi-Wan off the ledge after kicking him. Instead he goes for the highly telegraphed thrust at Anakin. Again, with the Force as an ally, we see the top tier masters make a mockery of age and human limitations. Dooku was running circles around men 1/3 is age.
In the scene where Dooku manhandles Obi Wan, I think Obi Wan actually holds Dooku’s blade with his other arm to block his attack. It’s very hard to see, but that’s why Dooku throws Obi Wan instead of killing him
@@keseanlee4692 Actually he doesn't. I watched it in slow motion at .25 speed and at full speed it looks like it, but slowed down one sees Obi-Wan's hand flail and Dooku has full control of his blade.
The Jedi never listen. Yes the sith are their enemies but Dooku on many occasions revealed so many secrets and all they think is “he lies”. If they would have really thought about it, everything Dooku said makes sense especially now that he told them Syfo-Dyas was in on it. Sufi-Dyas went behind the backs of the council and republic to get them a clone army for what was to come. And they never once thought maybe he did all these strange things for a reason? Or maybe he knew something .
I think the council wanted to win the war before looking into the clones. Becuase without the clones they would be an easy target for the seperatists. So the jedi were screwed at this point no matter what they did, the only had as much time as Sidious needed to seduce Anakin to the dark side.
Gotta admit dooku was a smart apprentice and he always had respect for kenobi too. I can understand why anakin and dooku were such rivals and enemies when dooku cut off his hand and taunted anakin and dooku knowing how powerful anakin had become.
@@festivegod335 that's not the reason. Obi wan Is not using his form 3 defensive stance here. He his using form 4 Offensive. And kicks are very useful in 2v1 light Saber duels. Literally every guy that goes 1 v 2 kicks the heck out of someone. Example obi wan and sidious vs maul and Savage. This is no different.
@@calebwilliams790 Obi Wan has decent form IV however nowhere as good as Anakin. The main thing is he's fighting dooku so his competence in the form doesn't come close to dookus mastery in form II. Also Obi Wan uses Qui Gons ataru which I'm sure Dooku had plenty of time to fight against when training him 😂
Dooku is a master of Form II, He's is so good he can easily go 3v1 and still hold his owns. Form II is excellent against Lightsaber Users, And Dooku is so good he can easily find gaps in Obi-Wan Form III Defense
It’s always a treat to see Dooku in lightsaber combat, because his movements, footwork and even lightsaber strikes are so fluid, rapid, precise and elegant. It LITERALLY looks like he’s performing an elegant dance whenever he fights. I can DEFINITELY see the influence of fencing in the techniques of Form II Makashi. That curved lightsaber hilt definitely helps him with his thrusts because you can see him basically combining his whole arm and his lightsaber blade into one with each piercing stroke with little effort exerted. So badass.🤩
By the time they did, like the clones being created by tyranus and all that, they could literally do nothing about it The momentum and morale the Republic was gaining with the outer rim sieges would be absolutely shattered
The Jedi were really corrupt by this point. They prioritze to secure the win in the clone wars so that they may have more political power than investigating what was going on in the backstage. Fives told them about chips, Dooku was revealed to have a hand in the creation of the clones and they even had the suspicion of a "Sith Lord" being among Palpatine's men but somehow can't piece all of them together
In fairness to the Jedi in this episode they say this is shady, but also question what can they realistically do. This whole plan is has trapped the Jedi pretty well. Let’s say the Jedi at the start of the war refuse to fight in it and say the Republic shouldn’t use the clones because they don’t know why they were ordered. The Republic is still at war with the Separatists and don’t have a standing army. Palpatine is still going to get support to use the clones as their army. The Jedi just aren’t part of it. That gives Palatine the angle of smearing the Jedi Order’s name for refusing to help end the war or even start conspiracy that Dooku is still a Jedi and is secretly under orders from the Jedi Council to be leading this army against the Republic so the Jedi can take it over. Turn the Jedi into public enemy #1 and still be killed by the clone army that out numbers them. If the Jedi pull out of the war after this episode the Republic won’t stop using the clones. It still bad PR for the Order and Palpatine can still manipulate events to make the Jedi look bad and justify the need to kill them. The Jedi lost the moment Dooku joined Sidious. Having a clone army and ensuring the Republic would fracture and go to war against itself trapped the Jedi. If they don’t join they look bad, if they lead this army and help, they look bad, if they completely remove themselves from government they look bad.
Count Dooku is such a great villain; he is in fact one of the greatest villains of all time in history for the simple way in which he does things and succeeds. He says he's going to kill everyone via Order sixty-six with the help of the Emperor who is currently Sheev Palpatine, the leader of the Senate and no one simply believes him....
One thing I never quite figured out. Darth Sidious told him to find the loose end and eliminate it, yet the Jedi still find out he is Tyranus and to that end created their clones for them to fight alongside with so what exactly did he accomplish here accept show how much style he has 😅
The move Obi-Wan performs at 1:11 by slashing his lightsaber to the ground is the same with that of the game Revenge of the Sith when he fights against Anakin in the final level of the game
Dooku totally pwn’d Anakin and Obi-Wan! Not only did he fight them both with one hand but the other was behind his back. And made them both look sloppy the entire time. He forced Obi-Wan to fight offensively and Anakin defensively throwing them off their respective fighting techniques. He outmatched them! Brilliant strategy!
One main thing that I noticed throughout the duel is while Dooku is keeping his distance with Obi-wan and Anakin as the fight progresses you could tell that Dooku is getting caught off guard by their growing power the rots novel further explains this by Dooku being surprised by their skill
I enjoyed how this fight displayed the difference in how they are both skilled and talented! Dooku, who has both natural talent and fully mastered his form, presses Obiwan who's had to work very hard to reach the level he's at, but he's still outmatched by Dooku and looses focus. Because of how he opens himself to counters, it throws Anakin off too, he has to not only make up for Obi Wan, but his concerns for him puts him off to, so despite being exceptionally talented and an extremely skilled duelist, he's still off balance and giving everything just to stay afloat! Dooku used a lot of energy and big explosive movements to put this pressure on though, which makes perfect sense as to why he's exhausted by the end
1:54 did anyone ask themselves why obi wan and anakin did that I mean shouldn't they have known that the force wave would've also hit the pikes? I mean they killed a pike (the right one) by force pushing him off and indirectly killed the pikes PM
Dooku is such an underappreciated character and only recently is he being shown the love he deserves. Of course a character portrayed by _the_ Christopher Lee is legendary- done justice by Corey Burton’s voice acting prowess- but the writing and care for such a conflicted, complex character is on the tier of legendary stories like those of the Old Republic era!
I like it when Obi-Wan says "This time we'll do it together" in Revenge of the Sith, and then this episode happens which is set close to the end of the war...

Well its not
It's ironic that they specifically didn't let Anakin met Grevious before ROTS.
But Anakin can apparently double his power in a few days 😂

@@tombryant7069 it was a joke

Wait doesn’t Anakin always use form 5 since it is a offensive form?
@@kevin-2.1 yeah which is exactly why dooku instead went on the offensive against Anakin and let Obi-Wan who's more defensive, attack.
@@kevin-2.1yes, so dooku is keeping him on the defense
The opposite is the case with obi-wan, who's form 3 is defensive, so dooku was making him take the offense
Yeah, once Anakin gains momentum, he's nearly unstoppable. As Dooku would find out later
1:00 - 1:13 was the greatest example of his mastery with his form and lightsaber. He held that fight single handedly, and with such class.
yup. he managed to separate them jsut enough to put them on his terms, unbalanced. making anakin play defense and forcing kenobi to go offense. and you could tell how....uncomfortable both anakin and obi-wan looked at the time lol
I just love how Dooku has his one hand behind him while dueling Obi Wan and Anakin.
Hes fighting style is very much based off fencing, so ots very accurate
That's what Makashi(form he uses) is pretty much all about. Using mostly one hand and smooth short moves to max the stamina.
"sometimes things are just that important"
god i love that line.
I really liked how Dooku made Obi-Wan and Anakin fight in styles neither are comfortable with. Obi-Wan on offense and Anakin on defence. He definitely exposed both of their flaws.
He did that in attack of the clones and exploit their weaknesses
Both comments hella goated 100% Dooku can read them both like an open book which shatters Anakin’s & Obi-wan’s belief that they can overwhelm him.

Best display of how Form III is completely useless against a master of Form II.
This lightsaber duel is one of my personal favorites. The choreography and the soundtrack made it so awesome.
This is honestly my third favorite in the Clone Wars Ahsoka vs Maul being my obvious favorite with Maul and Savage vs Sidious being 2nd

Dooku's fight against Savage backs that up he broke Dooku's stance so often that he was forced to rely on lightning to deal with him
@Azun Kor Dooku has also lost to Quinlan Voss when he was a full darkside user (As Dookus secret apprentice) because of the power increase Voss received from his rage.
It’s very hard to see, but that’s why Dooku throws Obi Wan instead of killing him
Obi-wan grabbed his hand that’s why he tossed him
@@keseanlee4692 Actually he doesn't.
You forgot how Dooku manipulated Sifo Dyas and then killed him
Gotta admit dooku was a smart apprentice and he always had respect for kenobi too. I can understand why anakin and dooku were such rivals and enemies when dooku cut off his hand and taunted anakin and dooku knowing how powerful anakin had become.
Obi-Wan: has a decade more experience than Anakin
Also Obi-Wan: Gets his ass handed to him by Dooku, while Anakin is holding his own

1:24 you think that based off this line and just how obviously shady the whole war has been that maybe the jedi would pick up on something
By the time they did, like the clones being created by tyranus and all that, they could literally do nothing about it
The momentum and morale the Republic was gaining with the outer rim sieges would be absolutely shattered
Especially since this was right after the whole chip debacle with fives

Dooku is so badass
Notice that Dooku always takes offense against Anakin while pushing aside Kenobi.
Love dookus smile while fighting. He was enjoying it.
I also get the feeling Dooku was just toying with them the whole time, He had A lot of openings on both of them that he didn't take full advantage of

that's why dooku is my favorite duelist, if he wasn't 90 years old during the clone wars I'm sure even palpatine wouldn't have been able to beat him.
He was stronger when he was Young? I think his connection with the force was better being an old man.
@@Daayron Dooku was better when he was younger, he almost 90 years old in clone wars and no matter how well his connection to the force is, dooku is only human and old body limits speed and power.
Even Palpatine got tired during his fight with maul.
@@podcastlerhis force connection makes up for it
1:10 That freakn absolute stylish, spin kick in anakins face. Dooku dominated here to the fullest.
Edit: watch at 0,25 speed
@Assassino275 This shows us just how powerful Dooku really was, the Jedi were so close to find out about Order 66 but they were to arrogant to see the truth, just like Dooku and Sidious said.
Like a boss
The music sounds like a boss fight
Who remembers Voca productions uploading clone wars clips?
Me 😂😂😂
Did Obi-Wan and Anakin's force push at 1:53 push one of the Pykes off the platform to his death?
