Long time fox fan, also truck driver. While I agree with a lot of what Alex says, someone at fox should have done some due diligence. This new breed of content creator truck drivers is extremely dangerous. Using phones and creating videos while driving is a no no. Anything that is considered distracted driving is literally against the law as a commercial driver. Talking into a camera, looking up at it 20 times a minute and waving your hands around will cost you your career and maybe some people’s lives. I’ve seen some of his videos and I’m telling you this dude takes both hands off the wheel while driving more times than I can count. Do your content when the truck is stopped. Use the GoPro when you’re walking around or sitting parked. These UA-cam rookie truckers are going to get people killed. The FMCSA has very specific rules regarding distracted driving. I only drive for 3 years otr, but I saw dozens of accidents with people talking on the phone and filming videos while driving.

The "EV" crowd is completely detached from reality. They were never rushed by the truckstop personnel to fuel up and go, so the next guy behind can get his rig fueled. That's why he's on UA-cam.
He knows there's another fool born every minute.
Wait until he finds out in his 30s how fkn lucky he is. I got in the truck in my mid 30s.
Shout out trucking with dave!!
I drove truck for the last 7 years it’s all lie. It’s horrible job . you don’t make that much money as a company driver. Special right now.
Truckers you keep usa going thank you!
Omg he is full of it. I am a truck driver. He has not stated that truck drivers have a high suicide rate, that it has a high divorce rate, that it's lonely as hell. He has not told the down side of trucking.

Trucking is a great career if you are financially structured. I thank Alex for shining a light for more future cdl holders to join this industry. It is fast growing and will continue to grow quickly because we are giving it a positive outlook each and every day from social media 🎉
Electric trucks will never do what a diesel truck will do. They will never pull the weight diesel trucks do
You have an engineering degree? A high school diploma?
Factually inaccurate
Diesel powered electric wheel driven off road haulage tks been around years pulling 300+ tons daily 24/7. I drove them myself & worked on them as a factory trained technician. Our electric grid or our recharging technology is not up to the task right now is the problem. The Diesel driven generator gives it the dependable source of power upon demand.
So it isn't purely Electric??@@Houndini
False.. edison motors debunks you every week.
You clearly havent been in the industry for that long...hope all works out for you

The real success is the youtube videos...We love you Alex❤❤
Lol a kid driving a truck? I've driven over 3 million miles driven, 26yrs driving, and he says he's retiring early? He obviously has no kids, family, or a life
He doesn't and so probably will be able to retire early. His expenses are minimal. Now, how long will he keep that up...?
Probably made a killing from UA-cam and was paid to make promo videos for the company he drove for
@@bussamio yup, lots out there

A proud steering wheel holder 💀😂
He makes 100k + off youtube alone hes doing alot better than jus ppl who drive trucks😅
Fox just might need to interview a few seasoned drivers to get the truth out there before exploding this kid out in the media.
Dude can’t even back up watch his videos
ALEX on Fox news!!!!!!! Best guest EVER❤. I follow both him & Riding with Dave for a long while. I love love love their videos!!!
So proud of you Alex 😊
There's a good reason why your favorite Fox News host doesn't drive a truck but wants you to.
Can you figure it out on your own?
Eh, trucking is costing too much money to do, the mileage sucks, working hard is not taking less to save, and we still don’t have SeMi Truck only lanes on our highways. Our vision of what the nation is, far exceeds what we’re willing to do to get there. We are not on the same page.
The American Dream!! Go out and get some!!💯🇺🇲👍🇺🇲🇺🇲
This kid is delusional..trucking is americas sweat shop on wheels..there is no future in trucking,it is a dead end job.youre making that company rich in profits while you get paid peanuts..
WHAT?
This couldn’t be further from the truth :)
You couldn’t have picked a worse “driver” to talk to. This guy is a joke
Also unemployed at this moment, UA-cam trucker not really a working trucker
Lol doesnt this guy record himself breaking laws
I'm a truck driver, and o can tell you electric big trucks are not going to work, period . One thing is the batteries weigh second the charging time- as it is now Timeing is everything and many times things happen and if we miss the datelines we don't get the full pay another thing are tires are very expensive and electric cars are wearing out fast can you imagine on a big truck?? In the real world, they won't work in a fantasy world yes.
The "EV" crowd is completely detached from reality. They were never rushed by the truckstop personnel to fuel up and go, so the next guy behind can get his rig fueled. The power grid was never designed for this, nor we have enough power plants to handle extra demand. I'm waiting for that same crowd to tell us that tomorrow we can repopulate the Sahara desert by drilling millions of water wells.
Great job, Alex
I watch both riding with Dave and Alex on UA-cam! They both got me into trucking!
Phasers On Stun: Keep On Truckin'.
Good job Alex !

You aren’t going to retire making 60 cents per mile. Plus, trucking school wasn’t free, he paid for it, he just didn’t need the money upfront.
Hate to break it to you Alex, but trucking is not going to make you enough money to retire early.
I make 2.5k every week, home every afternoon, off weekends, paid holidays and 6 weeks vacation every year. Don't spread your negativity onto others since you're a failure
He's doing that plus UA-cam. He's good

Make sure you have good personal injury insurance.😮
WTG, Alex! Great interview.
This is a joke..I been in trucking 10 years. If you add up what a truck driver makes per hour is around minimum wage with no over time…this kid has no bills or family. If that’s your setup then ya easy to save money. Don’t read these people BS

@@onewright6354you may need to refigure that addition there. .60-.65 cpm is way above minimum wage. Kmsl.
Yes. Spend a decade working 50 hours a week with no other human contact so you can have mental health issues through your 30's. Ya, he sure figured it out! Too bad he didnt do the research on menatal health issues for truckers. Oh ya, hes a real genious!

Fox has jumped on some stupid @$$ bandwagon here. Alex and Brian are not great guys. They have little idea of what they're talking about. This is not a great job. Its a job for Nomads and we stopped being Nomads 10,000 years ago!!!!!
Good Advice
It's a great job. There's a twist on why this job is not a secure one. This career needs to be revamped up and quickly. The salary base is not worth the job duties you are doing on a daily bases. This career is been on a decline for so many years. Has anyone been inside a tractor trailer. Picture an air plane cockpit and you're driving it by yourself. Truck drivers make 90% less of what an air plane pilot makes a year. It's a career that's in need of a massive infrastructure boost to make corrections to these workers lives for better efficient and smarter balance than ever before.
Skilled labor is the way to go I've had a skilled labor job all life and I'm set up for retirement at the age of 45 I have a house 3 cars a bank account with almost 1.5 million. in 5 years I'm done im gonna chill and let the interest pay my bills and enjoy my life
I have always wanted to be a truck driver or a train conductor cause it would be cool to do that.
Now he's fired
Ingraham Angle.... that's great, what a perfect way to add even more distrust into an industry that eats its drivers alive.....
Good job Alex!!!!
Smart way to think. To think future when I use to think for my future I was on track.
This guy is my ideal truck driver
He'll retire, get bored, then he'll find a job to pass the time.
If you dont drive MANUAL , you are not a TRUCKER
Alex ❤❤❤❤❤❤ !!!!!!!
If you are single, put your stuff in a U-Haul storage, get your CDL through a state program ( if you can), ask for reviews from different people with a trucking job, pick the best one that's good for you. After that try to do at least one year in one company if possible this will look good on your resume. Every week Hussle for miles and save every penny and become a rich homeless driver. I managed to save 20 K last summer and I'm looking on saving another 20k this coming summer too.
Alex said that they paid for his CDL school. Yes, they paid for it but got it back out of his pay. He paints a nice pic but doesn’t talk about all the negative crap he has to put up with.
Should have interviewed Trucker Josh from UA-cam even though he is a Canadian his opinion would hold more weight I think with 17 years being a truck driver. He drives in the states also.

Have 96% of jobs created over 35 years emerged under Democratic presidents?
IF YOUR TIME IS SHORT
The numbers for the past 35 years show about 97% of jobs have been created under Democratic presidents.
A longer look, going back 72 years, finds a smaller discrepancy, but the Democratic edge is still better than 2-1.
Policies have played a role in job creation, but so have timing and events beyond any president’s control.
