Though a Reformed Baptist and English major, I don't quite have the words for how much I appreciate Pastor Wilson, particularly since the death of my father a few years ago. They're nearly a one-for-one swap on these cultural matters and the supremacy of Scripture as standard for all. It was among my greatest pleasures to have met and fed him some months ago. May God continue to bless the work of his hands.

    4 Social & Sexual needs
5 Communal & self esteem needs
    6 Self Actualization
In every category of need in men's hierarchy, women's needs are met better in society, yet every election women vote to take more from men and give more to themselves?!
    Women's hiearchy of needs:
    1 Equality of Opportunity
    2 Equality of Outcome
    3 Equality of Authority
4 Equal Authority with no Responsibility
5 All the Authority with no Responsibility for the women, with all the Responsibilities & no Authority for the man or men(especially sexual Responsibilities & Authorities).
A tyrant has 100% authority with 0% responsibility.
A slave has 100% responsibility with 0% authority.
Today marriage, as redefined by the female democratic majority and family court system, makes the man a slave to a tyrant wife, who can divorce him at will, stealing his children, his wealth, and his human dignity.
All womens natural unregulated desire is to have sex with high status bad bad boys and get innocent men to pay for the responsibility consequences(abortions, kids ect.). That's why women, no matter how meritocratic, should never vote.
Women want equal rights authority to make all the decisions in their own life when the alpha f*cks opportunity is there. Its when responsibility slowly comes knocking that women want to shift responsibility back over to innocent men. Women want to sit at the poker table of the socio-sexual market place & make bets & authorize promises in the hundreds of thousands in reproductive costs when they can only actually back up a few pennies worth of responsibility. If women CAN'T take responsibility for a authorization, then they CAN'T have equal authority/rights as the guy who can.
Show me a man who takes by force what he wants from women and I'll show you 100 women who vote to take by force what they want from men. Show me a grave created by patriarchy and Ill show you an entire graveyard created by feminism/communism.
"Any society that negates the role of the father in the voluntarily marriage contract from decent civilization building men and replaces it with a involuntary centralized welfare state will not remain civilized for long."

Don't follow Wilson much, but despite him being patriarchal like me, I have seen him go very soft on criticism of women. Well, I guess his toes got stepped on. BTW, married 32 years and my wife who thinks very poorly of the rebellion of other women in our so called conservative Church puts on something on her head, in obedience to me and Scripture.
As an internist, I don't usually treat or worry about a fever in adults. Fever is a symptom that rarely is dangerous in adults BUT I worry about the cause. A sacrament is a visible sign of a spiritual reality. Tell me again how men not covering and women head covering is not both a sacrament AND a clear symptom of the terrible disease of female rebellion.
So Doug, will you actually require what Scripture is clear about as understood for 2k years by everyone until the 1969s?
Fact is, even in Doug's Church women can openly ignore Scripture wo consequences. The men just change their theology to accommodate them.
Perhaps Doug has been pushed too far.

Peter tells us to gently correct our adversaries that perhaps God may grant them repentance. Do you think your " in your face" provocative tactics emulate that model? It is God who turns the heart, and usually through gentle instruments. Do you trust the weapons of the Spirit or the tactics of the flesh? Harsh words, provocative sentences, and exposing mockery usually escalate and enrage, something Jesus and the apostoles we're not characterized by and which Solomon, by the Holy Spirit counsels against. We are to answer fools wisely and carefully. Gentleness and cups of water heap burning coals on the heads of our enemies. Being a Reformed Pastor, you are not perceived as merely an American citizen, but in larger measure a representative of Christ and his Church. We are to give "no cause" for our enemies to point the finger. For His sake, in my opinion, I think you should get off your culture rescuing bulldozer and get into something less destructive, maybe a nice green John Deere tractor for planting, cultivating and harvesting. You'll be breaking up the same ground but less ominously, with less gouging and preparing a better seed bed for the Gospel.

Peter does say that. But I’ve often wondered where is the line between that and cleansing the temple, calling the Pharisees a den a vipers and telling them their father is Satan?
Or even divinely inspired sarcasm like Elijah and the prophets of Baal (1 Kings 18:27).
I would also say it’s probably an unfair implication that Doug isn’t tilling and cultivating the ground.

@@jtlearn1 Life is much easier when you willfully see and submit only to the soft and gentle side of Scripture; I see the allure of what you're saying. Being soft and gentle and motherly with everyone prevents many situations from occurring that would require you to be courageous, or be persecuted, for that matter.
Someone said, "the trouble with preachers today is that nobody wants to kill them anymore." All those gentle apostles--and Christ, for that matter--weren't martyred and crucified for their winsomeness. I would encourage you to reread your Bible, from start to finish, and be willing to submit to what you find there as it pertains to the Biblical balance of kindness and severity.
When you've got a resume of persecutions that is comparable to Paul's in 2 Corinthians, then I imagine Doug might take you seriously when you tell him he needs to be nicer.

    • @jtlearn1
      @jtlearn1 Рік тому +2

@@matthewdyer2926 there is a difference between the shamefulness of cowardice and the nobility of meekness. The prophets, apostles and martyrs were not killed for being snarky and personally offensive. It was for the conviction of sin and threat to power and honorable resistance. Was Paul a coward when he took a beating and then asked for permission to speak? Provocation does take bravery but it often gets inflamed retaliation, not respect. Prayers, Scripture, appeals and rational arguments are the weapons of war for the church. Now is Doug preaching as a pastor here or speaking as a citizen? And does it matter? I believe it does.
And never said there was not a time for severity or to be outspoken at the threat of harm or life or that Christian men should not take up arms. You have mischaracterized me. But the church fights with her weapons and the citizen fights with his having some overlap. But excessive conflation of the two distinctions will bring unnecessary trouble to the Church, righteous persecution not withstanding.
