- We are living in remarkable times. Throughout the Western world, there is a huge fault line, now clearly manifest, that separates the transgressives from the normals. This fault line has even affected the evangelical world. We have contributed quite a large number of the bewildered normals, and we have also had a feckless leadership that for some mysterious reason wants to be thought winsome by the transgressives.
Their evangelistic yearning is palpable. If only the devil and his minions could pronounce us winsome and approachable, then perhaps we might even see revival in our day. The only thing preventing this remarkable miracle from happening would be the die-harders and bitter clingers within our evangelical ranks who have, we are afraid, made an idol out of the things the Bible says to do. The sure sign of such idolatry is a dogged insistence on actually trying to live the way Jesus said to live.

GOLD. Men need to grow a pair, recognize what time it is, and stop being ashamed of Biblical truth. It's not synonymous with being a bull in a china shop. Besides, a few plates need to be broken at this time.
It is not often I am brought to tears. This monologue made this one of those not oftens. May God have mercy on us and bring real, true revival. Elsewise, I fear He may not stay His righteous hand of retribution much longer, for our nation is way past due on its debt to Him.

There is no revival without repentance and I don’t see the other side repenting anytime soon. If anything they are like pharaoh and God has hardened their hearts. He has given them over to their lusts.
Prepare accordingly.

Too many pastors are afraid to speak the truth. Not because they're afraid of being physically harmed, they're afraid of losing clout.
Denouncing trans people is a massively profitable business model, as modelled by the daily wire, and actually a way to gather clout as a right wing talking head.

Thank you, Pastor Doug. I sat in church yesterday and not one word was said about the recent attack. (Even after I sent a message asking if it would be addressed.) I'm telling you, it's like people are living on another planet. Unreal.
Same here... our pastor mentioned storms a state over, but failed to mention the slaughter of children less than an hour south of us.
That's because you probably go to a church run by a hireling, not a man called to shepherd a flock. Or God forbid, a woman!

@@coreywatkins4983 I honestly don't understand how there could be so little interest. I'm not saying every sermon has to be a rundown of the week's news. I don't even want that. I can catch up on news anywhere else. I don't need to do it in church. But this was a turning point in America! I would hope even other countries would have taken notice of it.

Thank you so much. I dread June this year. They mock our Christ and shove it in our faces from EVERYWHERE. It's unbearable! And this is coming from someone who lived in the predominantly "rainbow" area of my city. (I didn't realize this when I moved.) But that was over 10 years ago. Back in the Before Times, there were barely any flags. If there was any wildness going on, it happened in the clubs/bars, long after I was asleep. I had no problems there. I was even able to avoid the Goeth Before A Fall Parades because I'd go to church and then to my parents' house, and by the time I would go home, the parade was over, crowds were mostly gone, and the streets were being swept. There was one year I did caught in one. I was shocked at the time. I didn't know women could walk around topless! Come to think of it.... I bet everything I saw was mild compared to whatever they do now. I don't even want to imagine it. I can't stand this mockery of Christ!!!

Thankful this world is not our home. Let's redeem the month by spending it in prayer for God to be glorified by saving some of these lost souls from destruction. God wins in the end, though. The serpent's head will be crushed. Amen. Let's pray for the unsaved to repent and believe while there is time.
Remember, Pride Month is the month that God used to strike down Roe v. Wade.

Are there any Christians who speak out about usury, adultery, and frivolous divorce? Naming the special people who don't like to be names would be a bonus. The main reason I'm not in a church is that it doesn't seem to me that there is any denomination that will hold me to a higher standard than I hold myself, discuss serious issues that aren't usual talking points, or support my marriage.

I am not minimizing your present state at all…wanting to encourage you actually…you will spend ETERNITY in His presence and in the presence of the Church Triumphant…and there is no marriage in heaven…I too am childless, and it is a great sorrow…so I look not at what is seen, but at that which is unseen(2 Cor 4:17-18) God bless you and keep you…I enjoy your posts btw

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who would say the speed of your delivery makes it difficult to absorb the message. I'm not criticizing, however I think it might be helpful if you slowed it down a little bit. I've tried to slow the playback speed on my end but the result sounds like Doug "had a few" which is distracting in itself lol. Thank you and keep up the good work!
Oh, I hope not! I love fast talkers. (I guess because I am one. My brain RACES and apparently my mouth goes along.) It was years before I even realized people think Ben Shapiro speaks so quickly. That was just...normal to me. LOL! But I sometimes do have to listen more than once to absorb everything. Not for speed's sake but for understanding.
