On May 1, 2023, a deputy in Fond du Lac, WI, attempted to stop a suspicious vehicle. The driver, a convicted felon with a drug-related history, fled at high speed but eventually crashed. After a brief foot chase, the driver was apprehended. A search of the vehicle revealed drug-related items. Based on a witness report, deputies also learned additional drugs were dumped in the area where the driver initially fled which contained roughly 1,000 fentanyl pills.

My uncle was a federal agent, he had a retired k9 agent named Hunter under his care at his house and I would sometimes walk him. My uncle said he was trained to sniff explosives and drugs and that the dog itself was valued in the millions. He was also the dumbest dog I've ever played with. This video reminded me of him, always hyper, playful and silly.
Lmbo,thats so funny
Reminds me of the old joke: A guy was at a garage sale, and saw a sign "Talking dog for sale." The guy looked at the dog and said "Yeah, right- a talking dog." The dog says "Yes, I can talk. I used to work for the CIA and the State Department. I could listen in on conversations without anybody suspecting. After my cover got blown, I got drug trained and went to work for the DEA. The Cartels put a bounty on my head, so I had to retire. Now I just want to relax, sire a litter or two of puppies, and enjoy my retirement." The guy goes up to the owners and says "That dog is amazing!" The owner laughs. "Aw, hell, that dog is a damn liar. He never did none of that stuff."

His handler needs retraining or maybe initial training. He wasn't handling him correctly. Poor K-9. He wanted to work.
@@michelleshaw1211 i dont think that was the case, it was just a tedious environment so the lead kept getting wrapped around shit and the uneven ground probably caused the dog to step over his lead and tangle himself, most k9s walk around flat urban environments in leads, probably just a youngin
@@michelleshaw1211 K9's are a pain to search with. even in training scenarios the dogs need constant commands when they appear to be getting distracted. the dog is tired of working and wants to play, which can be seen when he spins those few times. He looks young so I assume it's a lack of actual field experience. Those dogs have to search for an hour, or close to it, when it actually involves a crime. goodest boy just wants to play and our officer just wants to find what's there to find and get back to the warm car. Coupled with the environment leading to tons of snags and Rip getting caught in his lead, bud just wants to sit down. It's clear all the insults came from a place of love.
The dog was clearly young probably just started doing calls. I don't see K9 units getting rewarded with a ball unless they are just starting out, seasoned K9's just know what to do.

I know right! Calling him a dumbass dog. Smh.
That leash is impractical as hell, can they at least clip it on top of the harness???
Seems like a handler problem and not a dog actual K9 problem
@@Wezzy.64The leads they have on hand are usually in excess of 30 feet due to K9s typically pursuing suspects, finding drugs/items outside of vehicle searches is more rare, and the leads are long to ensure the officer can maintain control of the animal as well as knowledge of their location. K9s are also trained to be able to run and allow the lead to follow behind when chasing a suspect. They should still absolutely have a separate lead that's shorter in order to allow for ease in this type of work.
I should say, in ending this looking comment that the problem was certainly the officer. They know the lead length, *they* are responsible for the animal, using correct commands, and knowing where and how the animal is moving. He wasn't doing his job well as far as this is concerned because when he has the lead in hand, it's *his* responsibility to keep it straight; He failed and blamed the dog 😢

Then composure returned and we all went about our business.
The smart ones actually do. Don’t ask me how I know..😉😅
Guy was driving a beautiful Challenger…..shame it got totaled. 🥺🥺
Fortunate for police that criminals are often stupid. I agree if I was doing something illegal probably wouldn’t have super tinted windows that cause me to get pulled over. Idk get a mini van or a Subaru.
The cop and the dog interaction are hilarious!
The dog 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Bless that dog 😂❤ protect him at all costs
We cage them, beat them, confine them, prevent them from reaching their potential as actual animals. Then we call them friends.
Pet is a curse word. Time will show this to be true.
I always worry watching these videos a poor drug dog is going to OD sniffing for fentanyl . Some poor good boy loosing his life just trying to make his trainer happy and get a boop .
@@dakotatotten5355never thought of that. Scary stuff for sure
Fuck that damn dog bahaha 😂😂😂
Love these vids for the editing alone..Good stuff.
Drives 130 mph but gets too scared to run through a cornfield.
Can we just take a moment to appreciate how the K9 handler is out there with this highly-trained dog, trying to conduct serious business, and the dog is in total goofball mode and preventing the deputy from taking him seriously for even a moment?
The long-suffering tone of his voice and the way he talks to Rip like they're out for a walk at home shows that these two have spent a lot of time bothering one another both on and off the job.
It's exactly the way I handle my knucklehead when he decides that it's less fun to explore the neighborhood and infinitely more entertaining to wind himself around a mailbox.
Well that is EXPLORING THE NEIGHBORHOOD THO lol
It's not Rip's fault he's a dog.
I love animals so much, they make this shitty, fucked up world more tolerable.
@@carlyeckert4670 amen to that, frfr
Do you know why they spoke to the dog in German? As a German, that kinda caught me off guard haha

I did that once... i didnt have insurance and i stoped at à 4 way, cop going the opposite direction but he stayed stopped i was like "fck he knows" so after going up the road i take off down an alley and he crosses me up at the next block🤦🏼♂️🤣 i explained the situation and he drove me down to the insurance place and got me a day permit🤷🏼♂️
Hahahaha I felt that just reading half way through. I got pulled over for a seatbelt and was so nervous the state trooper looked concerned. He took one look at all of the trash in my car and didn’t even bother.
😂😂😂😂😂 I feel you tho
This guy doesn't have that logical side lol
I love seeing the interaction between the cop and the dog it feels like we are watching bloopers and I love it.. cop said “dumbass dog” 😂😂😂
Dude literally said dumb ass dog. 😂😂😂
The most offensive part of the video was when Officer Rip was called a bad boy.
Yeah, he didn't deserve that. He needs to be treated well, and not be tangled in that leash. He didn't deserve to be called a "dumb ass" either. 😢

he didn't kill anybody. They don't give you 250k bond for murder. If they honestly wanted to take down the traffickers, I'd let him out and see what he does. For sure he's going to re-up or somebody is going to want to know where their money is for those 1000 pills

Excuse me? I got maxed out for bail jumping. You'd be surprised. Bail Jumping and whatever it is you do while out on bond are seperate crimes. Not everybody who gets hit with bail jumping commits a new crime like this jerk off. I see Milwaukee gun cases get less time than me. :P

Dude went wide eyed, that was great
Never ceases to amaze me how people get away, have every chance in the world to get rid of the shit and then still get caught with it. Good thing though, I have no sympathy for anyone that deals in fentanyl. Fentanyl and meth are literally poison and anyone mixed up in them should get the hammer come sentencing time.
Yep, dude asked for his phone cause he wanted to make a call as fast as he could to get someone out there to pick them up
I don't know why they handled the bag so much. They could be destroying evidence the bag is really his. Any good lawyer will ask for proof.
@@leeoliver2969 Oh, they have him. Witnesses, history of drug dealing, statements placing him at that exact location. I mean who else just dumped a thousand fent pills in a corn field? There's 'coincidence', and then there's 'police finding a bag of 1,000 pills in the field after witnesses saw him running through it after escaping the police.'
