On August 25, 2022, an officer observed a stalled SUV within a traffic lane in Eau Claire, WI. After confronting the occupants of the vehicle, it was discovered both the driver and passenger had active warrants. Police attempted to take both into custody, however, they weren’t the most cooperative.
The purpose of the featured content is to show the law enforcement interaction. It is NOT to publicly shame, ridicule, or degrade the individuals involved. Today’s world is swarmed with politics and conversations that are often misleading about our law enforcement officers. We feel it is vastly significant and imperative to show these interactions in their respective environments to inform and educate the overall public.

If I'm in a secluded area with a african american vs an asian american I know which group statistically has the highest chance of causing harm to my person. This is legitimately a dangerous way to react for a few reasons!
1- It raises everyone’s blood pressure & the cops adrenaline might start pumping. Escalating a situation like this is a dangerous path for everyone there. The more chaotic the situation, the more likely it is that terrible mistakes could be made.
2. Screaming that you’re being abused & harassed to bystanders (when you’re NOT being abused harassed) could trigger bystanders stepping in , putting them in danger as well as even more escalation & adrenaline.
3. This behavior pattern is becoming more & more common. The “Boy Who Cried Wolf” syndrome! Cops, bystanders & the public watching body cam footage will become unaffected by it. So if a situation arises where there is actual police brutality, everyone will just roll there eyes and say “here we go again! Another bad actor”

The thing about a warrant is that cops don’t write warrants the judge does so if anybody has an issue with a warrant obviously you have to take it up with the judge to either get it removed and the case dismissed or you have to plea out to the charge and face some kind of penalty. But at the end of the day we can’t blame the judge and the police for our actions we have to make better choices as people and our citizens if we make poor choices then we have to suffer the consequences unfortunately individuals are given choices to make on a daily basis the choices that one makes on a daily basis only rectify your life in the end so choose wisely!
You should see the way some of these people talk to judges.
You would be shocked how many people think the police have discretion on a warrant. Cops do have discretion on some things, But a warrant by a judge is not one of them.

Former LEO perspective: After watching a LOT of Code Blue Cam videos, I have to say that Wisconsin Law Enforcement Officers are among the most professional and calm I've seen, particularly since half of the "alleged" subjects seem to be convinced that they are in life-threatening danger just for being near a cop, and tend to think that they are all confused about the crimes they know they've "allegedly" committed. I honestly don't know if I could do the job in today's environment of virtue signaling and automatic racism claims.
You can thank the media for that. They have been objectively anti-police for the last few years and it warps peoples perceptions of reality and skews their threat analysis.

I guess I'm lucky to be born and raised in Wisconsin. It's the culture here to be nice and polite to everyone. I have had one or two cops be snappish to me, but that was when I was young and, in their minds, more likely to be trouble. It has stopped since my hair turned white. They practically apologize for pulling me over. My muffler had come loose and I was heading toward the nearest parking lot to deal with it. The officer helped us get it loose so it would neither drag and spark or fall off and be a hazard. It is sad that such a mutually cooperative culture is changing.
People are nice until you get into Madison and Milwaukee… cops are still chill though for the most part
