On May 26, 2023, a police officer responded to a two-vehicle accident in Sparta, WI. The incident involved road rage, where a 55-year-old male confronted and physically engaged with the caller's son. The male exhibited signs of intoxication and was uncooperative with the officer upon arrival, leading to his arrest.

Decentralization doesn’t mean what you think it means
This disturbed creature is out of control. Hope he pays in every legal way there is. He is disgusting.
Every year, everybody in this guy's family must pray so hard, that he doesn't end up showing up for Thanksgiving & Christmas.
Haha!
Why aren't there more likes for this statement? You're hilarious!
Those holidays are right around the corner too
Wouldn't surprise me if he was the most normal person in his family.
I can't imagine why anyone would put up with someone like this.
The fact that that was his first DUI is BY FAR the most shocking part of this video.
the first dui he was caught for you mean
@@AmberAbyss-nh4lcexactly 😂😂
Not to shocking to me. That DUI means he is now unable to continue working. Most places don't let you have a CDL if you had a DUI.
Definitely not the first time he’s drive under the influence.
Never is.
People like the driver are despicable. This jerk has obviously been endangering the lives of countless people as long as he has been a drunk. Like every DUI it is more like between reckless disregard for life to attempted murder, beyond just manslaughter because all know the staggering toll and victims of good people who turn into something else when they drink. With a case like this the judge has to be an idiot to know this is routine behavior, just the first time caught. For that sentence the freak on each charge, to be served consecutively. He should get a little calendar that shows him which idiot act he is sitting in jail for at the moment because he won't remember what he did when he sobers up either.
See you can punch a cop, punch a child, drive drunk, run someone off the road, resist arrest among other things, and only get a $1500.00 bond? What a joke . I feel incredible empathy for the police and all their efforts to try to keep us safe only to have these worms slapped on the wrist.

Wisconsin has become a running joke for how light the bonds are and the sentencing.
They need to elect a judge who has a set and stop with these ridiculous low fines.
@billbray8797 they need to elect a legislature that doesn't pass such lenient laws. The judges can only do what the law allows
Get rid of liberals
Arrested for first degree murder. Released on a 500 dollar signature bond. Only In Wisconsin.
Cash bond isn't a punishment, it is a guarantee of payment. If you pay your cash bond it doesn't mean you get out scot-free. It just means that if you pay it, you are allowed to spend the time until your court case at your house instead of the local jail. Then, after your court case, if you are found innocent then you are given your money back and released. If you are found guilty, it is either given to family, held for you when you are released, or taken by the court (depending on your charge and where you live). So they will most likely spend a decent amount of time (based off those charges I would guess around 20 years) in prison. Also cash bond isn't determined by their crime(s), it is based on their fleeing chances. If someone is seen as a "high risk" of fleeing, their bond is set high. If they are at a "low risk" of fleeing, their cash bond is set lower.
My hats off to most policemen in the world. You did a great job what a man
The conversation in the car was the best. These two need a podcast together.
Pepper spray would have been better. One of those Silence Of The Lambs mouth gags would be nice.

Me too! I laughed so much at many of his responses.😂🤣
Hear what the dad is saying. "Don't baby it." If you ever get assaulted by anyone, do not downplay how much it hurt, how it made you feel, or what you thought was going to happen. Officers need to meet certain elements of crimes in order to charge and arrest someone.
Yeah kinda wild how they told the dad to “relax” essentially, like for one if the son is under age, the dad should 100% be deeply involved in the investigation/interview. And 2 if it was my son I’d be pissed ahah 😂
@@cameronebling4179They told him to calm down because he was getting aggressive. He was also talking over his son and not allowing his son to answer. That’s considered “leading” his son and it causes the son’s testimony to get thrown out. The police wanted to be able to press charges against William and they can’t do that if the irate dad is leading his son. All this being said, I have teenage sons and I would have killed the guy if he hit one of mine, so I’m not criticizing the dad, just explaining.
This was a great conversation, and I thank you all 3 for these ideas.
I concur with the above. Thanks for all the info, really. Wish I was a bit more educated on the law. but alas
@@oldageisdumb But then you'd be in prison for murder and your sons wouldn't have you around. Certainly beat the guy thoroughly though.

People have mastered ability to go to jail in dumbest ways
1500 bail is outrageous; a slap on the wrist for someone who committed vehicular assault, and then attacked a child and a police officer. He should have high to no bail, and a lengthy time in jail after a fair trial to consider the consequences of his actions.
They must have insanely lax bail terms in WI. THis isn't the first time I've seen such a laughably low bail for genuinely lethal conduct in WI.
@@pablodelsegundo9502 It's more that bail is a right as you've only been accused of a crime. If I had to guess Wisconsin sets your bail based on your dangerousness as well as your ability to pay.
It's not a slap on the wrist.. they only put up the cash bond to get him out of jail if they even can do that, he prob doesnt even have 1500 cash.. regardless, he HAS to go to court and will most likely get fucked.
@@idrizzyt7524 Most places one can get bonded through a bondsman and only have to pay 10% of the bail amount.
@@idrizzyt7524 This guy by my count committed at least 4 violent crimes against strangers (vehicular assault is 2 counts for 2 victims). He is the very definition of a danger to society and not only should his bail be substantial, he arguably shouldn't be granted bail at all.
I was in Law Enforcement for a couple of years in Wisconsin. Leaving was a blessed relief. Tired of dealing with infantile drunks with alligator mouths.
This fool is 55 years old. That is embarrassing.
That bond was crazy. I had a nonviolent Class D felony (I beat it) one time, and my bond was $2000. This guy had a lower bond with three violent felonies. That's crazy.
That's fxcked up dude. That's so unfair??
Kudos to this officer, for not having “accidentally” forgotten to buckle this nimrod in, & then having to slam on the brakes in traffic! This cop is seriously amazing, & has the patience of a saint!
Too bad the officer did'nt check his brakes several more times
I haven't heard the word 'Nimrod' in quite a while!! I like it!!
Before they had the super thick plexiglass in the cars, and it was still the steel cage stuff they called it "waffling." Because when they slammed the breaks and the nimrod's face slammed into that cage, it made their face look like an Eggo waffle. 😂 "Sorry, captain. That dog ran out across the road in front of me, and my reflexes kicked in, and I naturally hit the break... HARD!" 😂
That’s right!!! Physical violence not in self defense is only a crime if you’re a citizen.
I’m so tired of these ppl complaining about unequal justice. Whoever wears a badge and works for the State is the law.
We shouldn't have to thank police for not deliberately endangering the lives of suspects.
That backseat conversation is something else man 😂😂😂 what a life

I have to hand it to this police officer, he handled the situation very well. He didn't escalate the situation and was very patient with that drunk.

Wherever he is and whatever he's doing... I hope he is well :)
Great conduct from the officer. We need more like him.
This type of behavior from that man can lead to prison, if anyone keep saying death threats to police officers, you would get that type of felony. Don't go in public having this behavior around people.
That behavior will get him killed in prison
Prison? LMAO He paid $1500 for drunk driving that caused an accident. He then assaulted a child and officer. Prison??
