I have studio flash unit Elinchrom fx 200, and when i take photos the flash is not firing , but its firing in the test mode, could you please tell what adjustments have to be made

Oh that meter is so expensive, I’m not a pro (just hobby shooter for my kiddos)- is it possible to learn light meter by eye manually?
