I am looking at buy-in the rx 4's. I mainly do headshots in a well lite room. I have a full frame Panasonic s5. Are these too much power to shoot at f4 - am I better off getting the d lite 2 or 1's? Thanks in advance!
Hi Yaoyuan, sorry for the late answer. The softboxes included in the D-LITE RX4 kit are Portalite, and this range of softboxes does not have Grids. Only the Rotalux range have Rotagrids as an included accessory. For information regarding the Rotalux range, please visit our website: www.elinchrom.com/ranges/rotalux-softbox/.
I have studio flash unit Elinchrom fx 200, and when i take photos the flash is not firing , but its firing in the test mode, could you please tell what adjustments have to be made
just brought 400 to start with indoor practicing with softbox. is it.fine.for baby photoshoots like cake smash or other portrait shots? what shud b the suggested settings in a dark room with white or light blue backdrop? ?
I'd like to add a Elinchrom Digital Style 600Rx as a key light to a 2 head DLite4RX kit with the skyport that comes with the 4RX kit. Can you advise on any special compatibility issues I should be concerned about, or advise on whether or not this is wise? Thanks.
Your studio lights are probably a mix of old and new units at different power levels with silver and white reflectors or soft boxes of different brands and fabrics. In general, at full power it tends to be cooler, due to the voltage regulation of the capacitor for different flash power outputs.
I think the content of this video is great but what a shame you race through this valuable information. If this is meant to be the basics for beginners it would be so much better if taken slower. I will have to re play many times to catch the important points about set up.
one of the best explanations of this topic by a world class photographer, Mark Cleghorn.
This video was the best I have seen about this subject and how to use this product. Very well done.
Great video! Certainly need more demonstration videos to allow potential buyers to know that there are options to the other popular brands!
Great instructor. Awesome

Hello, thanks a lot for reaching out. If you're only shooting at F4, I would recommend getting D-Lite RX ONE's
Hi - actually in hindsight it will be more like f8? So the rx 4's then? (and maybe some outside stuff....@@elinchromLTD
Hello, thank you for your message. In that case, I'd advise you to buy a D-Lite RX4.
Great info for me - I'm just entering the world of studio lighting - great presentation - thanks much
It is recommend that Elinchrom post longer duration videos in English that promote the use of your lighting equipment!
could this softbox work with grid?

which one can I use outdoor?
For outdoor we recommend using the portable battery packs, the ELB range:

Great
Good stuff
I've been trying to update the firmware on my D-Lite RX One and I keep getting an error that read FAULT until firmware update! Press Cancel!

Why don't these lights give out a consistent colour at all power levels and from all models in the same range?
