    she does a lot of good for the trans community
    many ppl hate on trans people because they think that trans believe those bullshits that tumblr special snowflakes say
    if someone doesn't like trans people (like my dad) and sees a trans person admitting that it is abnormal BUT demands with legal nice ways to be respected , uses logic and valid arguments , then this person (like my dad now does) will Completely change their opinion in trans people
    they are people like ... every other person
    and she's a great role model not for people who want to transition but for many people who get easily influenced by media in general
    love her so much
    I've finally found a person who uses logic
    it feels great to see people like her on the Internet

I'm not slightly bi or gay, and I know for certain that I would not have any interest in seeing him naked. However, the way he has made his face appear, along with his voice and attitude, is intentionally attractive to straight males. So my finding her attractive (and even my willingness to call him 'her') is simply a testament to her accomplishment, not my sexuality.

      Trickier Hades Farage isn't just a cult leader. He's one of the best debaters in British politics. He has save Great Britain from indentured servitude to the same corrupt loony liberals in the EU that this channel proclaims to stand against. He is the epitome of the anti-establishment fightback for all free peoples throughout the Western world. He will go down in history as a Great British hero - the man who emancipated Britain from the chains of the EU cabal. Rubin would be honoured to have him on his show.

    • @njebei
      @njebei 7 років тому +4

      The judicial system must protect civil liberties stated in the 14th and 15th amendments and reinforced by the various Civil Rights Bills passed by Congress. That is what ended segregated bathrooms a half century ago and we cannot take those laws off the books.
      The question before us now is whether LGBT should be / will be given equal protection like given in the 1964 Civil Rights Act that disallowed discrimination due to race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.. LGBT don't have protection under federal law at present which is why some states and many municipalities have passed legislation giving this protection. That's why Charlotte passed the law that started this mess in the first place and why the governor of North Carolina felt duty-bound to pass state legislation he felt immoral.
      Ultimately it will end up as a federal issue and I bet will be discussed at length in the next four years. Google ENDA if you want to know more. Based on the history of the United States, I am sure there will be many that will disapprove but it will pass given enough time and the issue will slide from public discourse as a decided issue.

    • @blazinsco1110
      @blazinsco1110 7 років тому

      Not going to say a lot, but, Trans people didn't exist during the time either of those amendments were even thought of. Which technically means that they don't apply to the 15th amendment because "they" don't fit the conditions in the Conditions of Servitude :/
      Not sure about the 14th though.

    • @andystevens8806
      @andystevens8806 7 років тому

      I'm pretty sure most businesses don't care who goes to which bathroom, but then it can bring up the issue of pedophiles and other sick minded people taking advantage of it saying they are women (while truly not), I think that there should be unisex bathrooms provided for this issue.

    • @PurgPurg
      @PurgPurg 7 років тому

      +Owen Rinear that's assuming that all trans people look 100% like the gender they identify as. Many trans people who identify as women still look and talk like men. It's not a matter of birth certificates, people can often tell what your gender was originally.
      Also, according to you, the law wouldn't affect anything either way, yet you argue to have a law in place anyway, even if it was a pointless one that didn't do anything?
      your argument is utter garbage in all aspects.

    As a young hippie during the 1960s I worked as a day labourer at a car wash in Melbourne, Australia, along with all kinds of other oddballs and misfits who couldn't or didn't want to hold down a regular job. Among those who regularly showed up at 7:30 in the morning were a young male-to-female trans person and an older female-to-male trans person. The prevailing ethos among us at the time was 'live and let live', and these two people were accepted without a fuss and without comment. My ethics have not changed in all this time, although the ethics of many of my contemporaries have.

      Dave's show reminds me a lot of Joe Rogans show, where they both have a variety of guests on. The only difference is Joe calls out people he brings on the show for being idiots, like Gavin.
      Gavin does belong to a certain group of new libertarians who arn't really libertarians at all since they support an authoritarian like Trump. Basically everyone at the rebel media is like that. Libertarian is really just a masquerade for saying I don't like the political correctness of the left and then thats where my libertarianism stops.
      I mean, for example, they arn't libertarians on economic or immigration issues. Most libertarians see immigration and trade deals as beneficial because of their economic views. They see immigrants as more workers, more money, etc.

    The example from beach volleyball is actually really interesting. The picture I remember seeing showed a woman from Egypt wearing a hijab and a woman from Germany wearing the standard bikini. The other competitor from Egypt was not wearing a hijab which shows that the women from Egypt were not required to wear hijabs. Meanwhile Germany requires its players to wears bikinis, it is compulsory. So it's Germany that's forcing the women...

  • @Hajfena63

    As a libertarian I believe that if you want to pretend that you are of another sex by dressing one way or undergoing procedures that's fine. It's also fine for people to change their name to whatever they want and if other people are okay with calling you she when you are biologically a man then that is their choice. But I do not like the notion that many people want to push is that if you think you are of the other sex then everyone should comply and pretend that falsehood is a 'subjective truth'. This is what we on the right don't like about this whole movement. It isn't really about liberty, it's about forced perspective that only benefits one side which goes against our fundamental values. The movement the left is pushing is to drown out the truth to save someones feelings from being hurt. If you are biologically male and you think that you are a woman then I have the right to call you a man because it is the truth, truth is NOT discriminatory.

    I usually enjoy the content, and as a patron subscriber, I really support the overall work you are working on with Rubin report. in this interview I feel like Dave is talking way to much and almost putting words in Blair's mouth to agree with. Not out of context, but just not fully letting her speak without a long setup/interruption. Some of Rubin's earlier interviews were amazing at asking precise questions and letting the guest really dive in without continual agreement. You don't need to keep agreeing with guests. Reminds me of Cenk, Right?!

    One comment on the anonymous Anti-Feminists versus the Feminists using their real names...
    Virtue signaling. The Anti-Feminists are not really in it for the ego stroking. The feminists want to make themselves look like moral superiors.
    Plus, there is more to it than just being anonymous. It's also a character being created. Sorta like how people play characters in online games. And some people are introverts like me and it's just easier for them to play a character than necessarily be themselves. Though playing the character is them being themselves.
    I just don't believe most people who are anonymous pictures of cats are doing it just to be anonymous.

    • @sofakingimmature
      @sofakingimmature 7 років тому +2

      Agree. It is easier for some people to be 'themselves' behind an anime avatar than it is being face to face. But then that is not to say that the words written out on a screen is an accurate portrayal of its author. I personally spend a lot of time saying hyperbolic things since in RL I don't have much of a brain to mouth filter, but I can usually get away with it due to the fact that I'm very personable and friendly. Online, I still have that part of me (which is why I label myself as a troll) but I can usually have decent discussion with others given that I can use the backspace and reword my statements to better state my stance on things.

      in a real way being online and in these comment threads is similar to playing games online. It isn't that you're hiding who you are, its that you have (or should have) a somewhat removed presence from these interactions. It isn't physical interaction, your mind recognizes that. I don't use anonymity so much as its there due to my choices to have fun with my name and avatar. Doesn't imply that's what I'm seeking, it just exists.

      I tried to explain that elsewhere. It's a REACTION to them pushing for legislation. If it's not legislated, it will sort itself out like it has been doing for years. When you try to legislate it, then you have to put it into legal terminology. That includes having a clear definition of sex/gender.

    Dave, 10:44 I am one such person who went back before the surgery. I did it for multiple reasons but I went back even though I still have the feelings that I do. I am happy with where I have gone and even though my thoughts are still there I still think my life may have ended if I went through it all the way. Im glad Blair talked about this point because I have been downplayed for my already diagnosed gender dysphoria and called "not a real trans" which sucks ass but you live and let live I suppose because some folks just don't understand regardless if they have studied such things or not. Regardless thank you for having her on the show and I appreciate it :) Peace good sir.

    North Carolina's legislation did NOT appear out of thin air, but actually was a response to an anti-discrimination ordinance that had recently passed in Charlotte. The city's law, while well-meaning, prevented businesses and owners from acting in accordance with their religion.
    The state tried to fight the city but was then struck down by the federal government.
