You should get an honorary PhD from Behringer University. I bought my X32 rack 10 years ago. Still learning how to maximize it's capabilities via the Drew Machine. Wow. What a resource.
If you think everything has been said about the x/m32 wait a minute.... there's Drew Brashler ! Thank you for sharing ! (I hope Music Tribe offered you a job 😄)
Drew really never cease to amaze me. I’m definitely gonna have to rewatch this a few time so I can get this. Currently am confused and need more brain power lol
Is it possible to route your tuned vocal to an aux so you don’t burn channels? Esp since the standard # of vocalists is 4-5 and this would allow for an untuned instance and a tuned instance of the vocal in case of lag
Hi Drew, will this way cause the latency to be doubled, if you inserted waves to subgroups then again inserted waves to main LR as subgroups send signals to main LR, can you please verify thanks
If you have any insight on how to virtual sound check through SRP with an X32, that would be great. There’s videos of people VSC with multitrack, but not performer.
Same issue here...i have searched for hours on this and no good resource so far. however if you use the Aux insert method it works a bit with some caveats.
@@noblenweze9724 I actually figured out a solution and posted a video on my channel! Check it out! I used a software called Omnibus, but there are other options out there that could potentially work such as Loopback. The ideas are the same, you just need an internal patchbay to route audio out of your DAW, into SRP, out of SRP, and into The X32
Hi Drew,we're doing something similar, but only use the 6 auxes for groups: 2 for LR , drums and a vocal group. We use card 1-8 for masters, aes 1-24 goes to card and inputs 1-24 come back from card 9-32 . Inputs 25-32 are for thing that don't need plugins : click, tracks, in ear MD & music , 12 buses for monitoring +4 for goups. We use a server&superrack do you have a video explaining LV1 setup with x32? We started using that for FOH and x32 for monitors
Drew, I've been considering doing something like this soon. Currently, I'm sending all 32 channels to Waves SuperRack Performer, then back to the X32 card as you stated early in the video. I have all 32 channels in Waves in delay group 1. My question for you is, if there are 3 instances of routing to and from Waves, should there also be 3 delay groups in Waves? 1 for inputs, 1 for busses, and 1 for the mains? This might be a good follow up video topic.
Hello , thank you Drew for your videos that are always excellent... By any chance this happened to someone, using wireless microphones, that after some unexpected volume rise, for being away from the antennas or another reason, a channel stops working? ( sending and/or receiving audio )… What I have had to do is literally change the wireless microphone cable from the receiver to another free channel on the X32, and that channel works again, but the original channel was "locked" in the SR performer or on the computer... hopefully, after a while the channel is "fixed", or if I restart; but it's until I have an intermediate or the show ends, and it's very stressful... it had never happened to me (I do musical theater), until I started using SuperRack Performer with my x32 and in a season of 2 weeks, it happened to me several times... Any advice?
Hello Drew. Have you tried to use Performer and multitrack recording at the same time in the same computer thru the USB cable? It’s reliable? Thanks 🙏🏻
In my own case, I record with Reaper while using Live Professor as well. ASIO isn't exclusive to one app. You can also do all this with a DAW, such as Reaper - turn on recording while processing tracks with FX and routing back to the X32 in a very similar manner. You don't need Waves SuperRack Performer to do this - but it is nice with the latency compensation. You can apply track delay in DAWs, however - and do buses and even build a full outbound broadcast mix in the DAW as well. Reaper is $60 and can record while processing. Performer is $99 and cannot perform and I'm pretty sure you cannot create buses in it.
Do you send both your original channel and the return to the main? It may need the original channel taken out of the main LR. Of course, it could be something else. You'd have to share your scene file and setup to someone to let them review it.

Awesome 🎉
Another excellent video from Drew... automatically hit the like button after 5 seconds of watching 😂
Any thoughts on Waves SuperRack vs Liveprofessor?
Amazing work! How can I get the scene you have on your x32 so I can download it 😊

Hey Drew if I used my inserts for my 6 aux, can I use my local inputs 1-6 and still do individual plugins on it from superrack?

Is there any way to have 32in-32out + LR processing with Super Rack?
Hey Drew! Is it possible to run super rack on main LR on a Behringer XR18?
comment faire quand tu veux faire recording multipiste en utilisant super rack

Can you just send the show files LOL
I still cant get my waves right it sounds doubled like a chorus effect no matter what i do
