Yea...that's one of my favorite movies....I also like the connection to the Shining....another favorite...this was one of those movies that I wondered why they never made a sequal....word is that a sequal is coming in 2024......I would have liked to seen a sequal with Hoffman and Paxton in it though.....too late now...
@@bryanlongshore6198 It's not a real sequel in the sense of having to do anything with the original. Apparently, no one from the original is even mentioned. That's where I think they screwed up. They should have been spoken of and praised for their work in getting the first weather robot (Digital Orthographic Telemeter) aka Dorothy in the path of a tornado. Ugh.. quite upsetting really.
Bill paxton was a natural born storm chaser from Texas he was made for this movie twister RIP bill Paxton gone but never forgotten Shalom dove 🕊️ of peace
Something about his voice just appeals to me. I grew up watching Twister on a loop and I will admit Thunderbirds as well. Bill Paxton is and will be my favorite actor of all time. Its pretty cool to me that I can almost sound like him sometimes. Rest in Peace Bill "The Extreme" Paxton.
Don't forget Tim and Paul Samaras and Carl Young after we lost them to the 2013 El Reno monster before losing Paxton and Hoffman. I'm sure they are discussing all sorts of tornado talk in Heaven right now and keeping us storm chasers still on Earth safe from what Preacher dubbed "The Finger of God".
One of my favorite parts of the movie is when Jo (Helen Hunt) says "Cow” then around 5 seconds later she says “another cow” then Bill says “Actually I think that was the same one” it cracks me up every time I see that part. I also like the waterspouts scene. Bill Paxton was a great actor. I’m excited to see the sequel movie coming out soon. Helen is going to be in it. But if Bill didn’t die, he would be a great actor in the movie.
@@ridogtv6448 I'm exited to see a sequal. With a script written by the guy who wrote The Revanent. This film will be interesting, although they haven't chosen a director and I have mixed feelings in the direction they are going with choosing one.
Thank you Bill, it definitely appealed to my best friend and I as 90s kids and we quote it from time to time. It also spured our fascination with these beautiful yet terrifying, never to be underestimated forces of nature. You and Phillip are missed 😢.
I still can't help but laugh every time I see 1:11-1:20. I also can't help but laugh every time I see the look on Bill Paxton's face when he says "I THINK WE'RE GOIN' IN!!!...".
I kind of think he's bouncing back and forth between actor Bill and character Bill. He has so much passion about the subject matter. Sure wish he was still around.
I love learning about weather so twister caught my eye and I watched it wish my parents and now I watch it almost every week LOL. But I can’t believe that Bill Paxton isn’t with us
Gone but not forgotten. Rest in peace Bill Paxton! Rest in peace Philip Seymour & Van Halen! So strange to come back after so long and see him on my phone screen.
RIP Bill Paxton 😔 I grew up watching this movie this movie was released 5/10/96 I was born 5/9/96 my favorite movie of all time Bill Paxton Helen hunt Philip Seymour Hoffman are the reason why I like storm chasing and meteorology and Forgetting to mention the old dodge trucks
I wish I met bill in person one day if he was alive still, Dudes a very chill and upbeat wholesome dude and my inspiration of my desire to storm chase. ❤️
Man i still can't believe bill paxton is gone and no longer with us him and phillip symoore Hoffman crazy may they both rest in peace i got into weather and storm chasing due to watching this movie i fell in love with weather after this movie but also made me fear tornado's at the same time
My little brother got trapped under trees during a tornado when he was tiny. We both obsessed over “Twister” but he grew up to be a storm chasing, cloud expert and Im convinced it’s because of this movie. Bill Paxton, gone too soon. I hope your family was able to find peace.
It’s so bittersweet to watch Bill and Phil.. two amazing actors and wonder where they would be today .. if You grew up in the 80’s Bill was that actor who played the crazy older Brother that you loved to hate .. he was a household name and Phil.. simply amazing !!!too many talents gone too soon .. 😢
The Dodge Ram was the biggest star of the show thanks to Bill Paxton and Helen Hunt. The truck sacrificed it's life to get Dorothy IV and the sensors in the air for readings.
Of course, it was the first year of the second gen. Just a brand new plug, but they switched trucks in some scenes they used a 2500 later in the movie. Not sure if you knew that.
@@jeffc7486 I'm English and not familiar with Dodge Ram models but i did notice that the on the first scene it appeared in driving down the road when the helicopter flew towards it it was a V10 Magnum and then when they were chasing the F2 the mileage changed twice. Pretty obvious they were alternating between the back up Rams they had when filming.
So going to miss him in the sequel which appears to be coming out. It would have been fun to see the differing parenting style between Bill and Helen's characters, and to see who mellowed out and who got more extreme!
How the HECK was Helen Hunt unable to get along with Bill? He's so effortlessly charming and seemed really fun to be around. RIP, good sir. Twister is easily one of my favorite movies of the 90s, and the 90s had an endless amount of great movies. I loved seeing it in the theater, and when it came out on VHS, I immediately got it and watched it all the time. That 90s CGI gave the tornadoes in the movie such an awesome look, especially that F5.
I didn't watch Twister growing up, but I did see Mighty Joe Young, Aliens, and saw Edge of Tomorrow recently. Everytime he was on screen, all I could think was "we lost you too soon."
Who else besides me misses Bill Paxton? He was perfect in this role.
We lost him far too soon 😢
I miss him.
Incredibly too soon. Such an enjoyable actor…truly seemed like a most decent person. RIP Bill
Bill Paxton was a great actor. He was perfect in the Twister movie
RIP forever amen BILL PAXTON 😥
He was also perfect in Aliens.
thanks bill for making my childhood special. im now 35 RIP buddy
Just turned 36. A legend of my childhood. Loved him in true lies 😂
38 here and agree 💯
Bill Paxton is like your favorite uncle who’s always happy to see his nieces and nephews at family gatherings.
So sad that bill and Phillip are both gone. It’s rather bittersweet to see both these men in the same movie
I have to Agree Both Actors are Legendary! and it's a shame they're no longer with us!
Dusty and The Extreme!

Bill Paxton seemed like such a cool dude to be around and work with
He was such a goof. You can really tell he was fun to be around.
Still can't believe he's not with us.

Hearing his voice, took me back to all his films, so nice.
Great footage...Thank you.
He had a really special voice

He does. We “know” he’s an actor, but the way he describes tornadoes in this, and the film, he seems like a real storm chaser or a meteorologist.
Just by hearing his voice and
seeing him gives me the chills
Bill Paxton was an excellent actor left his greatest memory in Twister's Bill. 🌪️😢
Rip Mr Paxton. You've played in some of my all-time favorite films. Thank you.
ET why did you have to make us cry😭😭😭 it brings a lot of memory seeing this wonderful actor.

I can’t say more than has already been said about Bill being gone. He was so good at his craft. Really miss him…
I got to speak to him on the phone once. He kind and he was doing a financial favor for family. Really left a good impression on me
That’s very cool!!

What a fun clip of Bill Paxton with actual movie clips interspersed. Nicely done. ✅ We Miss BILL PAXTON.
