Welcome to my “Sunday Night Stay-at-Homebodies Open Mike Set #115.
I post youtube video sets (usually three songs) on Sunday nights around 8pm PT USA and share them to my facebook timeline as well. With these posts comes a standing invitation to singer-songwriters and spoken word artists to share a recent video of some of your own stuff (covers are fine too) in the comments below my posts, as well as a promise that if you post your stuff on the same night I post mine, I will do my best to watch and comment. My Sunday nights are reserved for listening to music, preferably of the homespun variety.

“Everybody Knows” is from my album "Better Off Broken", "Finish This Kiss", and “Your Face” are from my album "Without The Moon", and like all of my other songs, they are available for downloading free or with a donation at www.GeneBurnett.com They are also available at all the usual e-retailers of music, where they might be faster and easier to find...but each one will cost you a buck.
I hope this video has been helpful to you or touched you in some way that leaves you a little better off for having watched it. Great theme - so inventive!
"Everybody Knows" - such a cool melody! And the snappy lyrics are a perfect complement!
"Finish This Kiss" - magical chord progression with a haunting melody. Love the unexpected high note. One of your best mate.
"Your Face" - another sweet tune and engaging lyrics. Bravo mate.

Thanks Gene, fun theme here! Always loved “Finish This Kiss” with that jump up to the high note. And yes that video you made for “Your Face” with all the funny sweet dogs is definitely worth the trip! (but bring a towel ;-) 😅
