Considering how you can't get to ginger island before you finish the community center (or selling your soul), mentioning that you can get lava eels in the volcano is a bit of a moot point
I wish there was more variation in the remixed bundles. Like, the vault could be changed into depositing RL valuable items. Like one is 10 diamonds, one is 50 gold ingots and a gold mask, one is all gem rings, something like that.
@@cdogthehedgehog6923 Exclusive? Technically no. It's just the place you're most likely to get it. There are a few places you can get Artifact Troves without going to the desert (panning, Haunted Skull drops, prize machine, pet dog, and bookseller if you have the Treasure Appraisal Guide). You could theoretically farm Artifact Troves until you get the mask. It would just be a really poor requirement.
I just found that most of them are just... lazy. They kinda just do all the same video. I even seen one literally do the same video just in a different order of tips or clip a bunch of old videos into a bigger 'new' video. The last time I really played the game was 2016 just after it came out and a lot of 'new player tips' stuff that is new now was out then too. The only thing different is something like new content that got added of course. I just started playing again and doing a duo play with my brother who got the game about a year ago. Been having fun, we went with Joja because tbh it is so easy and he never did the Joja way before so I had to show him. Maybe I will do a new game with him and we will try the remix after I get everything from this new game we started a few days ago.
If you missed out on the Forager’s bundle and it’s after Fall, there’s a way to complete it. Common mushrooms can be put into seed makers to make fall wild seeds. Clear out an area in your greenhouse and you can grow plums and blackberries that way.
I always think to comment but forget. You have single-handedly revived my interest in Stardew. Genuinely, Salmence, your videos are sublime. We can see your extreme attention to detail. Love it!
I was going to say that you can get a blobfish by using magic bait off the ocean docks, but then I remembered you’re only gonna get that after finishing the community center and going to ginger island 😅
Yay more stardew guides!! I think a cool guide would be a video on some of the best food items in stardew, like which give the most useful stats for different skills and uses in the game! And also taking into account which foods are the easiest to make/acquire especially early-mid game.
Thank you so much! I accidentally choose remixed bundles (but was up to the challenge anyways) after a long time without playing, I almost died when i saw the fish roe bundle (didn't even knew about fish lakes). Will try as always to complete the CC year 1, but it's gonna be tough
I remember you mentioning maybe doing this in one of your videos: I'd love it if you covered the genre of grandpa bed mods. I remember when I found a few pages of them on nexus. I laughed more at those than I had for a long time. Delightful
Honestly, for me, I find the best way to get Refined Quartz is indirectly through crab pots. Both Broken CDs and Broken Glasses give Refined Quartz when put in a recycler.
If you put a fire quartz in the vault crystalarium for about 4-5 days that's an easy 6 ref. quartz. Plus, everything the recycling machine can give you can be gotten elsewhere.
@@strawhatsteve2198 True, but using crab pots and recyclers I've gotten at least that much refined quartz as well as a bunch of coal, wood, torches, and potentially cloth and iron ore in those same 4-5 days, and that frees up the Crystalarium to replicate more valuable gems, such as Diamonds or Jade to buy staircases.
This is gonna seem so boring, but I would love a guide on what the deal is with the farmer's grandpa coming back. Like how? Why? Is there anything we need to do to prepare for it? Alternately, a wilderness farm playthrough would be interesting, I haven't seen a stardew creator that I like do one yet. In any case, love your videos!
If you check the wiki, there's actually a score you have to achieve for Grandpa's Evaluation. You get points by how much money you've earned, how many friends you have, how many skills you have, if you've completed the CC (bonus points for having the CC completion cutscene), obtaining the rusty & skull keys respectively, maxed friendship with your pet, married with 2 house upgrades, & a few other things. You don't have to do everything in the list, just enough to earn 12 points. Most of it you'll naturally complete by then (money, friendship, skills, the keys, etc.), but you can follow the wiki's list to make sure you've earned enough points if you'd like.
This is such a good tutorial thank you so much. I actually missed the remixed bundle because i play in mobile so i don't have the 1.5 update yet. I may start a new farm for this when 1.5 comes to mobile.
I know this video is a bit older, but I really like the home cook bundle. You can set up 248 wheat seeds around a scarecrow and let the rain water it. Since wheat is across two seasons, it is really easy to have at least four rainy days. Then just have to have the mill set up and boom! Easy peasy flour! (Though I generally turn it into beer instead for an easy ~50k).
You mentioned the Lava Eel being caught at the Volcano Forge while this is true you cant get there before finishing the CC so you have to use the mines
Video idea: how far in the game can you get if you ignore any of the supernatural elements? This would potentially mean no mining because of the monsters underground. And I think you have to do joja route, because the Junimos are clearly magical. I think that would be a pretty interesting run to watch!
More mod-related content? You made a video about recent and unique mods as well as SVE, but how about a list of mods that you personally recommend/choose for a modded playthrough? Would definitely watch and possibly try it out. I tried to think of other ideas but aside from tedious topics like cooking recipes this seemed more useful 😁
I knew that you could get cloth from killing mummies, but I didn't know that you could get it from recycling newspaper. Learn something new every day. Also, It's over NINE THOUUSAAAAAND!!!
I wish the remixed bundles were a little more different. If there's a chance that you could still get the regular bundle instead of the remixed bundle, then there's a possibility that all of the bundles are still the same as regular bundles. I think that if you want remixed bundles, you would be annoyed to get the regular bundle, so I think those should be thrown out if you choose remixed. TLDR; remixed bundles are kind of disappointing
Hey, I wanted to ask if you could maybe do a video showcasing different mods. They would be ones you recommend for different play stiles, and things that just make the game easier.
You wouldn't be able to get a lava eel from the volcano for the master fisher bundle because you need to complete the community center to go to the island
I Wish there was an option for just true random bundles. Like what if the bundles became just random and you need to get like 100 (or whatever amount of items) and it just became random from any items you have acces to at the point of the game... Now some bundles dont even change.
I was terrify with to get the Scorpion carp since everyone says is the most dificult fish to get (even compare with the legendary ones) but i try anyway (because i culdnt wait for tudo winter) and... I got in The firts try 😶
I was really looking forward to the new bundles when the patch dropped, but unfortunately they're just kind of annoying. 😅 Most of them are either more expensive or more time-draining than the old ones and make it a slog to finish the CC, rather than adding fun challenges. Growing wheat in bulk for Jodi isn't exactly challenging the way the quality crop bundle was early on, and gathering roe from one fish pond vs upgrading your coop and barn several times is pretty darn unexciting. An option to do *both* if you're in mood for a challenge would be fun, but otherwise I just stick with the old ones.
The reward for the brewers bundle is like rubbing salt in a wound.

Haven't seen any of the 'usual' stardew youtubers cover this topic. These vids are really well-structured and interesting

Are there any mods that have their own bundles to work towards, and if so would any of them be worth showing in a video?
There is a mod called Challenging Community Center Bundles! Some things may take 2+ years to complete so it’s definitely harder to complete.
