I did the speedrun mostly without save scumming. You do need to get 1 golden sugar lump, which I save scummed for, but you can get all the sugar lumps you need from the garden.
if i had a nickel for every time I’ve encountered a minecraft cow pfp other than mine id have 2 nickels, which isnt a lot but its weird that it happened twice
It only takes me around an hour to make and check 600 saves, which gives a good chance at a golden lump, and if you make the saves by selling grandmas to manipulate autoharvest times you can do it even if the lump falls overnight. Also, you only need around 100 golden lumps that all give 7, then the rest can be normal or a more common type and you'll still reach 1123 in a year.
There's a lot more complicated ways that you can deterministically get the sugar lump you want. With the Sugar Aging Process prestige upgrade, you can use the number of Grandmas you have, plus some other factors, to manipulate the next sugar lump type you get after harvesting. There's also the Gambler's Fever Dream strategy that can get you up to 6 sugar lumps per hour.
I did it and I played plenty of things other than cookie clicker. The 1 year achievement triggers after it has been a year sense you started playing, not after you have a year of playtime.

The most insane thing about this game is, that it is "just" a game about cookies, but at some point it turns into a lovecraftian horror game with themes that have you question reality and a grinding system that would even put most mmos to shame
as someone who checks in on the mobile version from time to time (which has less features & achievements than the pc version) i don't even need to watch the video to tell you how much of a miserable speedrun that would be

As someone who did a cookie clicker 100% speedrun, this video is really funny. Also the garden achievements and the achievments all the building achievments for buildings besides the sugar lump ones are trivial, not sure why you even mentioned them, and not achivements like getting a shiny wrinkler.

you should try this with CMUM (RNG manipulation), Gabagool (RNG prediction), and Loop Duping (Running the game faster) which are all things possibly using exploits and mods (the mods do not affect the game and are purely information) and is much more interesting.
i remember there was a script that grinder cookie clicker for you. idk if it still exists after the cookie clicker update, but it was fun seeing it do things
2:20 if you complete your garden and then sacrifice it you get 10 sugar lumps and you can do it multiple times so you could complete the game in a year without save scumming which is literally an exploit
I made a 100% route back before the stock market minigame (still have the Google doc to prove it). I didn't include shadow achievements and allowed for time skipping (and save scumming) and estimated it could take about 24 hours if done right. Without time skip, i estimated it would take about 85 days (remember, no shadows and the stock market wasn't a thing) and decided i didn't have a good way of proving i wasn't cheating, which is why i went with time skip: to do it in one sitting. I never ran it, and i don't plan on it due to health reasons and because whitestonejazz probably did a better job than i could dream of. I'd rather watch his run :)
there was an exploit with the wizards before they put a cooldown on the spells, where once you had enough lumps saved up you would spam the generate a golden cookie skill till you had a few overlapping upgrades that multiply your cps, then spam the increase their time left spell to make that last forever. you keep doing this till you have all the golden cookie effects stacked at the same time including the broken ones like dragon flight. and beat the game from there.
I used to have all achievements before the last big update and when i briefly checked what the new achievements would require i realized it would be quite the hassle so i put it off for now

You don’t actually have to cheat in any cookies to get the shadow achievement, just change your name to “open sesame” and you will tet an in-game chest menu which you can just not use and still get the achievement.
As a cookie clicker expert, with ALOT of strats. You can get all achievements in either 1 week or 4 days. Also all achievements legit within a year is definitely feasible not almost impossible
I'm doing mobile atm. I'm 6 months in and at 94% of achievements, but man, the grind for the last few unshackled buildings/upgrade levels is utterly insane. I just cashed in 750 trillion prestige and I'm still weeks away from the next upgrade 😭😭😭
It is crazy, cause i have 99% of the achievements, only resting the sugar lumps, and the trevigintilion cookies made, "only" took me 2300 hours. I hope i dont need another 6000 hours to complete that 1% 😂😂. The garden is the ultimate way to get sugar lumps legitimately, it takes me around 15 days to get the garden full and get another 10, so i get almost always 29 sugar lumps every 15 days
In my experience I started playing 3 years ago and I'm still missing 2 secret achievements and 9 normal ones, and one of the secrets is the 27k gc one and I have only 8k

mobile is near impossible to 100% no timeskip unlike PC which actually has been done many times
Why would timeskipping be relevant to mobile?
On mobile, there's no Grimoire. The only way to make progress are shenanigans with Dragon Orbs and getting really lucky.

You can also get extra sugar lumps by maxing out your garden. You get I believe 10 for each reset of it

Save scumming can simply be saving and reloading. Exports aren't always required.

i took 3 years to 100% this game but its worth it
