If you have the instrumental of the track and the vocal version and have both in lossless (WAV, FLAC, AIFF, etc) you can put them on top of each other and inverse one of them and you will be left with only vocals.
GO OT ====> Effects/Stereo Imagery/Center Channel Extractor & play wit the options there until it sound GOOD. ......that is basically what your telling us...... so i think the video is 8 min. longer than it needs to be!!! LOL
@@lowhp_comic well yea you made something right but not what you wanted you have to play around with the settings understand how you use them and try to make it better i guess
I'm absolutely in love with UnMixIt! It's an amazing software that isolates vocals perfectly, and doesn't require to be connected to an external server. It's also very affordable, which is a huge plus.
The default "voice remover" just makes my entire sound blurry and almost muted :/ and however I tweak the settings, it does all sort of effects but to the whole soundtrack and nothing separates the vocals .
You forgot the about the 'beginners' out here. Some of us are brand new to Au, and need instruction from the very beginning as in 'How to add the file"? Do we 'Open' the file? ... or Do we "Import" the file? ... or do we add a "New File"? What is the best way of these three option? How do we add the track to the timeline (?) properly. I am sure each method has it pro's and con's and it sure would be nice to know the difference. Can you please make a new video that starts from the very beginning? We would really appreciate it. All the 'Newbies' thank you in advance.
Can you make one for videos? Like say your playing a game and your mic wasnt muted so it video includes your voice but dont want to hear your voice only gameplay
Thank you for the great video tutorial! I also wanted to suggest the UnMixIt software, which is a great tool for removing or isolating vocals from any song. It's easy to use and has high quality output. Thanks again for sharing this useful information!
With the edit i am attempting at the moment, all the track is fairly centred bass, turning on the effect removes everything except the bass line, is they away to work around this. I'm new to audio post-production but am keen to learn more about it. So no too complicate terminology xd. I'm using cc 18. And am trying to move the instrumental from the track, i have tried all the presets, and i do not get the result i am after.
hi , really appreciate the instruction , also loved the music you used - I believe i heard this music in frolicme video :summer ride with antonia/ricky
this is the realest comment i seen that's exactly what i was wondering if you can cut the whole song out and keep it acapella but thank you for being real
It’s not confusing. The point to try to play around with it until you can basically pinpoint where the frequencies of the instruments, vocals and bass are. Then you try your best to isolate whatever frequencies you want to keep. Of course it’s not going to be perfect for most music because a lot of sound overlaps each other and you’ll still hear some of the vocals while trying to isolate the instrumental frequencies. It might sound pretty bad but you can probably fix some of it via mastering.
I struggle to see how this is an acceptable result. This doesn't ultimately remove that mechanical/robotic sound that happens when removing either vocals or the instrumental.
We're sorry to hear about this. Please create a feature request (adobe.ly/3Y57EvS) to let the product team know. This will help other users to show their support by upvoting your post. Thanks, ^IY

You can repeatedly listen to the same section of the track again and again while you adjust the settings, without having to drag the marker back to the "in" everytime it reaches the "out"

i love you
Do you know how to put that isolated on a new track so I can process separately?
Thanks :)

That song is like made for this tutorial
Obviously they are going to use the easiest

Like no offense but if you don't even know to add a file, you shouldnt use the Programm in the first place.
None of my songs work. The low pitched part of the songs are neutralized but the high pitched part of the song still plays. bs.
This song you played was smooth as hell 😎
Can I use this trick to remove vocals from any video in adobe audition? Plz reply
Quite a cherry picked clip you used for the demonstration. Even then Acapella didn't work that well.
People are complaining here how the song was “rigged” to sound better, but like the guy said, it depends on the song.
Can you make one for videos? Like say your playing a game and your mic wasnt muted so it video includes your voice but dont want to hear your voice only gameplay
Is it also possible for a movie? I want to keep the background music and sound fx of the movie but I want to remove the dialogues.
I mean, it would take a long time processing and you'd need a lot of quality in audio, but it would work
I've tried from movie trailer ,it didn't work
If you load the 5.1 or 7.1 audio version of the digital film on a pc, you can put it in ADOBE PREMIERE and cut any of the audios with voices.
What if its not 5.1 or 7.1 can you do it with stereo audio?
GUYS I FOUND THE BEST WAY.. use the vocal remover and set the end hz to 22050 and staRT to 20 hz
thanks yoo, insanely good tutorial and really well explained, especially with the show examples

Hi. thanks for the video. Worked perfectly for me.
thank you so much
Very helpful tut. Thanks
Can I do this on my phone??
How much does it cost?
Looks like you need a mixer that separate individual sound...then remove the sound that you don't want. No cheap short cut by program.

how can you remove instrumentals/vocals on a certain point of the track?
You can cut the part of your interrest, apply the extractor/filter you want and then paste the modification on your original song
This did nothing for me with piano music over a voiceover. You would think adobe could do better with possibly a direct select or something.
thx
How to remove the drum sound?
i think u just need to change value of the frequency untill ur drum sound lost
just put your drum in the ponds ha ha ha
it's not possible in audition LOL
