Astonishing capability.
Tried the Audition method described with voice NOT removed
then went to lalalai and it cleaned it entirely.
Pricey though for amateurs.

Mike, I have recorded some dialogues in a short film on set with my boya unidirectional Rode mic which has a lot of traffic ambience sound in the background. However, the dialogues are pretty clear and clean. I want to completely remove all the traffic noise and want to replace it with an ambience track that I have recorded separately on set. Please guide me how can I isolate my dialogues only and use the ambience track as the background.

Great video! So the Side Channel levels could be used for removing background music when making videos in a public place where there is music playing?

If the source is recorded and also mono this likely wouldn't work. This effect works best when instruments are stereo (sitting on the side channels) and the vocals are on the central channel (sitting in the middle - mono).

I'd love to learn more about how to do this in a much more advanced way. I tried it on an acoustic track and it leaves the voice in there pretty muffled and the music itself really destroyed.
