2) Get rid of hair bulk using guard #4 closed above the previous step. (Note: this step is optional.)
3) Guard #1 closed.
4) Guard #2 closed.
5) Guard #1 opened (fading).
6) Guard #2 closed (touch-up work)
7) Shape up and beard.

I gave my husband a haircut and I was afraid I would messed up his haircut but just after watching your video I gave him a better haircut than the one they gave him at the barbershop last time. it looks like fading the sides is a good idea as it also helps to distract from the thinning top. anyone agree? blondes have it easier as that color hair isn't as high contrast as black hair on pale skin

hi, can u tell me why u had to go over again with the guard off after all that fading? u said to go up to where #1 guard was, so the part where no guard would be right next to #2 or #3 guard instead of #1 guard.
