i did the same a few years ago....big old bald spot on the top of my head, so i decided to go to the barber one day and get a buzz and haven't looked back ! had a buzz ever since and i love it ! way less of a pain to look after than before !!
2 things. First the cut and beard trim came out awesome. Dude looks great. Second, the barber has a sick radio voice. He should do pod casts or something...lol
This is crazy timing. Just yesterday I finally had enough of stressing over my thinning hair and broke out the clippers when I got home. Took it down to a #1, trimmed the beard down pretty close on the sides, too. I'm still getting used to it a little bit, but it feels oddly.... liberating. Thanks for another great video, guys.
Don't worry, you get used to it. I was thining at age 20 and the worst part was I had hair down to my waist, I also had a bald spot on my crown that I could only cover it with a hat. My dad who also bald told me just to shave it and at first I said no cause I was still emo at the time and my long was my identity when I was in my teen, but then after some thinking I caved in and shaved my head. It took a while to get use to it, but I grew a beard to make up for the lack of hair. Its been 7 years since I shaved my hair and I been rocking the bald head since
Finally took the clippers to my hair today. Been hiding it beneath my czp selection for the last couple of years. I've gone 3 all over but about to fade it in later on after seeing this video. Wish me luck!
dudee thats why im here. the top of my scalpe(like the forehead area) is thinning and i have looked into so much stuff and im getting to the point where i'm looking forward to finally just shaving it all off and being free LOL. I can still rock the hair look right now ok but part of me just wants to "rip off the band aid" so to speak. i wish i had a barber like this though, I wouldn't feel comfertable at my shop getting this done.
That's a really dope haircut. I usually see a 2 on the top with a skin fade on the sides. It's nice seeing the client wanting a 1 on top with the skin fade on the sides. Keep it up over there!
I love the barber's soft soothing voice. It felt like I was listening to a hypnotist. Dude looked great, even more sophisticated after he hit the chair.
Night and day difference. Great Job. For all the balding guys out there, the hair is already gone or on his way out so just go ahead, don´t be affraid and make the jump and either do this or shave it it off. It might make you look more intimidating but its a way cleaner look and it actually looks like you take care of yourself.
@DR PHIL It takes time to gather the courage but it's definitely worth it. I always thought I was going to have more trouble doing it since I have always been very vain and I was extremely young when I started going bald (23-24) but I accepted it quite nicely and I actually hate pictures when I had thining hair now. I looked so weird. Much stylish and cleaner now. Congrats on the move.
@Pep I'm not saying don't do it because I have never tried it but after doing research on the side effects/potential side effects I think I rather be bald. But that's just my opinion. Millions of people take them or have taken them so they must work but I rather not risk any side effects. It doesn't mean that much to me that I am willing to risk my health.
Some guys have weird shaped heads and can’t pull the bald head off without looking like an alien. If that’s the case better to keep the balding hair short and use a hear loss concealer like toppik.
Great result. I finally conceeded to thinning hair about 2 years ago. It was like a weight lifted. I immediately looked and felt younger and healthier oddly enough. There was probably an element of stress over hair loss I hadn't realised. It's a very stressful thing to go through for anyone, but coming out the other side is an amazing feeling. I now rock the bald and beard look and I love it! Hopefully this video and this comment encourages someone who is feeling unsure or just generally anxious about hair loss. Just go for it, its very freeing taking back control
Dude looks so much better this way. He’s prly worried abt having his head shaved, but imo his confidence ought to go up a ton after this, cut rly suits him

Now, I just shave my head at home myself after getting my courage up to do so. (Shout out to Ben Wilson!) Personally, I love it; literally rolling out of bed in the morning or getting caught in a blizzard and knowing I don't have a "bad hair day" possible. @@hobosnake1 yeah I think they do. @Joy Walsh thanks for the reply. Definitely gonna shave it once I get the nod of approval that it's time from the women in my family. For now you can hardly tell its receding. It's so early people would call me crazy to say I'm balding, but I'm noticing the difference in volume and hairline. I get that having hair is preferable. Looks good. I shaved my hair off last year but, even tho I loved the feel of it, it didnt really suit me due to my bulbous forehead. Looked good from the front but from the side it was freakish !!!
I'm just glad I'm basically at the point where tons of my peers are balding. I never knew until it started happening to me that it's slightly over 50% of men who bald or have significant recession. That's just wild to me. The proof it's not a death sentence should he the fact that balding is still in the gene pool.
Anyways, thanks for taking the time to reply. Don't feel like you have to again.
absolute professional at his craft. Well done.
Looks good. I shaved my hair off last year but, even tho I loved the feel of it, it didnt really suit me due to my bulbous forehead. Looked good from the front but from the side it was freakish !!! So I started taking finasteride and let it grow long. The finasteride really worked so I got very lucky there.
I have a question for u since i take finasteride too
Does it really cause u to lose libido? Im worried bout that My doc said that very few pple had lost libido but once they stopped taking finasteride they regained their libido
Whats ur take on this?
@@projektraven4149 Genuinely cant tell. I have a low libido anyway coz Im odd like that (and am a bit of a recluse) !!!!! So I cant tell. Id say possibly but nothing that ive dramatically noticed. I havent noticed any side affects thankfully, except much better hair.
Are you still taking the finasteride?
I´m gonna start watching these videos whenever I can´t sleep. They´re so relaxing!
Its amazing how fashion changes, 20 years ago , growing a beard because you were bald was cause for hilarity to observers.
Now it makes you cool as fxxk.
This guy looks great! I think he would look real good with a completely bald head. Get it tan and use one of those electric head shavers every morning. Nice job.
Eric's eyes looks like Tobey McGuire's for me always
Huge improvement. He looks ten years younger without the hair and with the beard trimmed. Has the perfect head shape for the style. He would rock the shaved head look when the time comes.
