Wouldn't surprise me if we see jericho back once more in WWE eventually.
Oh we will. He'll have his last run/final match in WWE
Come back for the Hall of Fame!
@@SFCityKids who would his opponent be....
His last t match will not be in wwe
Now I truly believe that one
When Punk initially left Jericho basically predicted exactly what Punk did. He said something to the effect of "he'll go off and do other things for a few years, be drawn back to wrestling, and within a decade or so be back in WWE"
Yh I remember that Jericho said he felt the same way punk did when he left in 2005 when he said he would never go back to wwe and returned 2 years later punk response was he wouldn’t do the same thing Jericho did on the colt cabana podcast
@kingdomofanimaria I mean in respects to punk he lasted a whole lot longer then Jericho. Jericho was 2 years while punk was about a decade.
Tbh it's not like he did the same, took him pretty much almost 5 times the amount that jericho did. But after the way AEW treated him, i guess any motivation he still needed to return was given to him on a silver platter.@@kingdomofanimaria
@@SM.11183He was effectively back in WWE in 2019, don't forget. While his salary was paid for by Fox, it was a show entirely based around WWE and otherwise produced by WWE. He may not have appeared in a WWE ring, but neither does Kevin Dunn and no-one says Dunn isn't part of WWE.
Jericho is one of the most charismatic wrestlers in wrestling history. He has stayed revalent in wrestling for over 30 years
He's in the top 10 of the greatest wrestlers of all time. A underrated goat.
He left on good terms and even if it's not in ring, he will be in the HOF someday and probably sooner rather than later.
@@Peppers19781978absolutely
Jeriwho?
I don't think being the toilet break match for the past 4 years counts as relevant
If Bret can come back and shake hands with Shawn in the middle of the ring then Punk returning shouldn’t be a surprise.
Plus Bret also lost his brother and there was that whole dark cloud that divided the Hart family over it. So Bret more than anyone had loads of bad blood between him and WWE.
make peace and shake hands with Martha Hart is way harder than shake hands with CM Punk.
The Hell froze over quote was literally Punk copying Bret's exact words.
That’s a very valid point
Like 30 years later
I love Jericho. I know he said he doesn’t want it or care, but seeing him in the WWE HoF would be awesome.
My favorite lines from Jericho. “Ass clown 🤡 “ & “Would you please shut the hell up!” Ahhh great times!

Im from Winnipeg you idiot!
Always been a huge fan of Jericho. I loved it when he became the first undisputed champ and then the first AEW champ. What a career.
Oh please his undisputed reign was awful.
Jericho once again proved he know what WWE slogan of "what is best for business" means
If Bischoff could be in wwe, anyone can
I like how Jericho dismisses AEW's botching Punk while he was there. They had more viewers and he still is a top merchandise seller for them. And he actually had a show built for him. We wouldn't be seeing Punk in WWE right now if Tony Khan was any kind of leader. He allowed immature boys the EVPs and their friends to run off the biggest draw they had. And now he's back in WWE selling a ton of merchandise and bringing more eyes to WWE again.
I can Imagine if Chris Jericho came back to WWE.
Yes, then he can go back to putting over the actual draws.
These wrestlers are really just going for whoever can pay more at a particular time. If that's AEW, sure they'll jump to that. If it's WWE, same thing.
It's always been like that for years even before aew was a thing@@shadowalk
Jericho being, Yo HHH please take me back.
I think Jericho is ultimately right with his take. It’s possible that Punk in AEW just didn’t mesh well with their culture. That doesn’t mean he’s a “cancer” or a huge issue. Jericho had similar problems with talent in his day. It’s also possible that Punk has a problem-free run in WWE.
Not sure why everyone has to be so antagonistic about it. I think we can see Punk and AEW execs didn’t get along at all, and I think we can see he’s going to have zero issues in the WWE because of its rigid hierarchy in modern times. Win-win.
I noticed how after the fight with Perry, Jericho has had nothing but good things to say about CM Punk
It proved to everyone that the Cucamonga Clique is the problem backstage.
Why did they fire Punk though? Why didn't they fire that jobber instead of their top Star lol
Man, that's honestly why I can't respect Jericho anymore.
@@demonsuckafucka6828Because the unprofessional element in that company was never leaving and never going to be held in check, and Punk was never going to take that shit.
It was different after Brawl Out when Jericho held Punk over the coals. We didn't know about Hangman shooting or the idiocy about Cabana, so burying Punk helps keep the company in good position in that spot. After all, we all saw the scrum.
But with Perry? He was already becoming known as an entitled piece of shit, especially to fans... but then you publicly shit on what Punk told you TO KEEP YOU, YOUR COLLEAGUES, AND THE PROMOTION SAFE from liability?
Especially Jericho can't say anything on that, we know Chris had multiple backstage fights on his record, and I'm sure Jericho probably socks Perry too, in that situation.
@@demonsuckafucka6828Because Punk made Tony "fear for his life". 😆
And Jericho will be back. No question.
With all the attention & sold out arenas for WWE, I bet Jericho is probably thinking about making Tony Khan fear for his life so he can also go back home.
I would love to see Jericho back!!!!!!!!
it seems like Jericho is starting to speak more highly of WWE recently.
I noticed that too😂
Jericho behind the scenes is telling mox rusev and Joe to jump ship for sure😂
Vince brought back Hogan who testified against him, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall who walked out on him, Jeff Jarrett after blackmailing him, but not Macho Man? 🤔
Well we all know the Macho Man rumor.
he fucked his daughter. Vince was jealous that a man of his age fucked his daughter who he could never fuck. Fuck!
They made up, too. Macho even did a promo for his action figure at Comic-Con just before his passing.
I think it was more a Macho Man thing than a Vince thing, probably never felt he COULD go back. And NO, I don't believe those stupid rumours.
@@alexbrannonPresumably the Stephanie thing 😮
Man I hope one day we can hear “BREAK THE WALLS DOWN!”
Chris Jericho will be back.
Chris is really entertaining, but I still cant get over how he was in on that Ultimate Warrior hit piece WWE did a long while ago
Difference with WWE & AEW: HHH is in business to make $$$. Tony Khan thinks he’s in business to make friends.
Not only that Hhh is more a mentor saves you from bumps and Tony is more of a friend who gives you bumps lol
I'm glad to see CM Punk back in WWE. I think that can be a great last run for Punk.
If he doesn’t ruin it for himself.
@@sgtquig9040Your profile pic is so accurate. Punk wasn’t the problem AEW was. That’s why Bryan is injured AGAIN.
@@viperrecords3288 Sure buddy. The guy who's been in every major wrestling company in America in the past 20 years and left all of them on bad terms with no notice isn't the one at fault.
The part about AEW must be dangerous becuase a guy who got injured way more when he was younger in WWE got another less severe injury, classic.
@@alphanerd7221 He never left ROH on bad terms you dumb ass. Keep reaching and AEW is responsible for Bryan being in the shelf again 😂 Stay mad nerd

I enjoyed watching this interview
“Wouldn’t surprise me since me and the buckaroos and hangnail ran him out of aew”
Punks’s return at SS has had over 80 million views on all social media platforms. Who was the biggest star at AEW?
WWE fanboys are plenty, mostly through playing WWE2K videogames. It doesn't make it a better show. Same storylines for over a decade and obvious payoffs which are known months in advance. It's stale and everyone knows it.
Jericho already paved the way for aew an there stars
Time for them to be on there own
Jericho to wwe to have his last match there 🔥💯
When there is money to be made, there *IS* no "forbidden door" in WWE. If Vince hasn't brought someone back or someone in, it is simply because Vince didn't think he could make money with them. Simple as that.
The littlefinger of wrestling. jericho
At this point I'm convinced even Chris Benoit can return to wwe
In a gimmick called Chris "The Canadian Lazarus" Benoit.

I am 100% sure that at one point jericho will return to wwe
Jericho wearing a Milli Vanilli t-shirt...
Chris jericho vs la knight would be awesome
Wouldn’t surprise me Jericho came back after seeing the reaction Punk got
But that’s the thing Chris, it wasn’t Vince, it was Triple H who brought CM Punk back, Vince really hasn’t had control of WWE in like 2-3 months, TKO made him an office boy, he only has about 10% control anymore, CEO on paper only, and forbid him from touching Creative, who they made Triple H & Shawn Michaels exclusively in control of ALL WWE creative, and last I checked, as a result Vince was looking to sell his shares of the TKO stock.
It’s TKO punishing Vince, because they noticed the stuff Vince put on TV drew significantly less ratings than the things Triple H put on TV.
Nevertheless I’m guessing it wasn’t a pleasant Christmas or Thanksgiving at the McMahon household, and I would’ve loved to be there as Vince looked across the table at the guy who replaced him by force.
God I hope WWE never hire Jericho again
Why?
They will.
Jericho will be back now that we realize AEW days are numbered.
You want a WWE only monopoly? When WWE has been stale for over a decade. It's been relying on the old names, especially WWF names. It's development gets nowhere and without the old boys, it's unwatchable.
@@jsolloso Hey fella, do you think WWE is stale?
@@ryanbailey5709 yes, fella, it is. Same storylines and same faces. All of which do the same thing time and again. Been like that for over a decade which is why they have to keep bringing in former WWF talent.
@@jsolloso When is the last time you thought it was fresh, and what made it so?
@@ryanbailey5709 you having to go back to when WWE was created, as it was a new dawn, having been WWF prior to that. It lingered with that for a while, been stale ever since.

Jericho is correct 💯 That's why he's the 🐐
Wow nice to see you with big arms
The fans just love cm punk hate him or love him to fans just gravitate towards his energy
Vince to Punk be like :- Drink it in maaaaaan ..
I love how even though Punk was a dick to Jericho, he still has no ill will towards him. Jericho is the 🐐
I must have imagined him calling CM Punk a cancer 5 months ago. Which some wrestlers in both companies started to parrot.
About a month after Punk left AEW Jericho said "We know the issues. The issues have been rectified...", and he said that AEW is better than it was a month ago. Imagine if Steve Austin (that era's Punk) left WWE and someone said that WWE is better without him.. Jericho is a two faced snake
@@zerofudou5689 did he do it publicly? No. That's the BIG difference
@@zhougongjin2704 Punk isn't Austin. And AEW is better without him there. He is not worth it because he causes more problems than he solves. Imagine if Austin was a dick, and rock, HHH, HBK Bret Hart and all the other guys didn't wanna work with him, would Austin be as big as he was? That's the point with Punk, no doubt he was their biggest draw. But nobody wanted to work with him, and it wasn't for lack of trying. Nobody is irreplaceable. Jericho tried to make it work, the elite tried, Tony tried. And he always felt that he was bigger than the company, and nobody can be bigger than the company.

It shouldn't be a surprise cuz they ALL come back. There were people with much worse issues that came back so punk being back isnt some impossible coming possible. Its just that ofc there has been a generational chnage in audiences and most people now haven't lived through the eras where people had issues and fights (including me), Punk is def the biggest controversy of 2010s and 2020s aka the modern-day era so that's all people focus on
Jericho is one of the top 5 most entertaining professional wrestlers of all time… then the bell rings.
He wants so bad to say yea I’ll be next.

Jericho could come back…part time…and just get a group of young guys over anytime he wanted in the wwe if that’s where his heart was at.
Jerichos retirement will take place insiade a wwe ring😊
Was just jealous of Pepsi Phill in the bigger spotlight
Jericho wanted to be what Hulk Hogan was to WCW, and couldn’t handle that actually being someone else…..I’m a huge Jericho fan and call him GOAT, but totally think he saw himself as what Phil actually is.
Feels like Jericho would have kept Punk in AEW if he was Tony
No, he wouldn't
@@brandonluu6665Cabana was in AEW before Punk wasn't he?
@brandonluu6665 Well yeah, they were clearly trying to agitate Punk as much as possible lol
@@rif5556it's hilarious how Adam Page started all that shit over Cabana and promptly kicked him to the curb and forgot all about him once he got back on a major "storyline."
Lmao, Jericho is part of the clique that ran him off
He called it when he left. "I miss pizza." Cm punk missed pizza.
No it's not surprising because Punk was planning on staying with AEW for some time. But because AEW has "evp's" (which is a fake title) that pretend like they own the company even though Tony Khan calls the shots, it creates an incredibly toxic work place for someone like Punk or even William Regal to survive in. AEW literally threw away millions and millions of dollars to keep a no-named egotistical jackass jungleboy, that has no character, no story lines, gets no tv time, and is just a generic Hollywood kid who got there because he is rich and the young bucks think he's cute or something. The company is ran by a friend clique, which is the definition of toxic workplace anywhere or at any job.
Evp wasn't why he got fired. He got fired for fighting a guy half his age.
Excuse me, PUNK was the one who publicly refused to shake William Regal's hand in the AEW locker room (despite Regal having _decades_ of seniority over Mr. "Respect Your Elders" there), rudely stating that he didn't respect Regal because he thought he was "a stooge for Triple H". The hypocrisy is absolutely _staggering._
Super "toxic" for the guy he who is always the problem wherever he goes.
Personally, I wasn't opposed to Punk getting fired for starting the fight before his match at All In. He's 45 years old. He knows better. He should have let Jungle Boy be the immature twit that he is. Jungle Boy should have been fired too instead of the "suspended indefinitely" BS.
However, I do believe Punk's actual intentions at AEW were pure - to make money and to help build up the company. I think Punk would have preferred AEW over WWE if AEW's younglings could pull their heads out of their asses, be a bit more respectful and want to learn from the veterans. Sadly, that's not the atmosphere there it seems.
@@alexbrannonpunk is actually from that era where Jericho would try to murder Goldberg via triangle choke backstage. He was locker room leader while Cena Taker Randy HHH were all nearly in their prime.
And he was trying to protect that Jungle Boy from hitting himself with real glass.
In any other era of wrestling besides the one of fake aew tough guys we currently live in Jungle Boy would be sent home for a few years. Imma a mark but CM punk was provoked into acting out or cornered both times he committed assault on the bitch club😂
He’s mad he’s made a return like every two years in wwe before going to aew and never got that ovation
He had strong matches with CM Punk,,,better than the Cina walk match rock
Jericho is the type of guy that doesn't like talking about CM Punk.
At least he talked about it unlike Tony "can't comment" Khan
