This is the first time I've ever seen an interview with Chris Jericho and I was impressed. He was really humble which was surprising because I'm used to his character. I think I'm a fan on Le Champion now!
I met Chris (Jericho) in my home country after a Fozzy show, first time in my 46 years that I met a (former) WWE superstar, so that was something really big for me.
And he told me, he knew, even before he shook my hand, that I was a wrestling fan. He could tell. And I liked the music too (BONUS!! HAHA).
But even a guy like him, so famous around the world, such a gentleman, answering all my questions, taking his time, he absolutely felt sorry that he had to go.
I always say my favorite wrestlers are the guys who are also wrestling fans. Thank you Chris (Jericho) for that day, and thank you Chris (van Vliet) for this interview. With Chris Jericho.

Not only is Chris Jericho’s name bigger than ever, he is “bigger” than ever. Bloated.
Interesting to hear him say it would feel really weird to go back to The List, and how things are never as good the second time as they are the first time... and yet here we are with another list (lexicon) in AEW. Wonder what changed his mind.
It's not the exact same thing, it's just the same concept. A re-invention of the List with a new, classier name for it, goes well with "Le Champion". And it's obviously over as hell and he's still entertaining every time on the screen.
Kaleb Smith I posted that when he was using it 2 months ago. He didn’t do it once, it was a several episode thing. I thought he was going to keep it going. But you’re right, in retrospect I see it was more of a nod and a joke than a second list.

honestly probably nowhere near as much as WWE. that's why some of these guys resign just to job because the money is just too good. i think Jericho was just saying this to try and tempted wrestlers to sign with AEW
@@robbyreyna5527 Yeah I think AEW is paying their headliners more than WWE. Because the owner of AEW is way richer than Vince and is able to put more cash in the stars hands rather than taking a huge percentage for himself, like Vince does. That's what part of the original draw to AEW was supposed be about, giving the wrestlers more freedom and bigger pay days as long as they show up and do their job. That's why those that have moved to AEW are a lot happier. We'll see how long this runs for, but so far I'm enjoying it. I know it's still new and there isn't quite storylines like WWE has, but in a way it's kinda nice to just see guys going out and giving 100% to put on a show, rather than 15-30 minute talking segments to try to sell a "story"..

Without you & other passionate people it would be hard to get such nice Interviews & knowledge here in Germany. wXw will also come to the USA, maybe it's also interesting for you. wXw started in the 2000s with huge love for the ECW. Walter was there & also Tony Storm, Druganov etc. Moxley was there for the Tag Titles etc. It's one of the best promotions in Germany we have that is a bit bigger.

No really. But crazier things have happened in wrestling.
The sad truth about what Jericho's saying salary wise is that WWE is backwards when it comes to how they pay individual wrestlers. If the WWE salary videos on UA-cam are true It's the Newer top guys are getting paid more than the veterans with the exception of John Cena, and maybe Randy Orton. Chris Jericho was at Veteran status the mid to latter years of his tenure in the WWE, it was a quite a few where he wasn't even in the title picture. If he says AEW offered him more than WWE ever really has especially in his last years there I believe him.
