Thanks for watching, and see you next time
yo im the guy who interviewed you for a college documentary on social media in worcestershire like 2 or 3 weeks ago and i just wanna let u know that you were prob the best person i interviewed in the entire thing - amazing personality! you are a living gem 🥰🥰
Hi Geo! That is very kind of you to say! It was a pleasure helping out - I hope you did well in your assignment. If I can help you in any way in the future (not sure with what, buy hey 😄) just give me a shout!
Take care and all the best 😃🙌
The comment by GEO made me feel better to see you’re still doing well. Proof of life in a way. Lol.
I enjoy your content and perspective in this space on UA-cam. Looking forward to more videos in the future!
Cool Gas Monkey shirt, too.
It's a fabulous watch. But I'd still question whether I wanted a BVOR on my wrist . . .
I still question the presumption of a completely new brand with no history trying to pitch themselves in the 'luxury' tier. Prestige can only be earned over time. There is a reason watch lovers will fork out the equivalent cost of a family car for an Langer & Sohne or a Breitling etc when nobody would spend that on an Aragon.
Great to see you again, Sir Watch, IMHO you don't do enough videos these days!
Hi mate! thanks for your kind words - I'm still struggling with motivation regards making videos 😄 Regards luxury and prestige - I've gone down the rabbit hole of looking on the net, and this is what I've found:
"In 1999, Professeure Roux wrote a “white paper” on understanding luxury, describing the difference between prestige and luxury. According to her analysis, “Prestige is the act of striking the imagination, demanding respect and admiration. Prestige implies that one is looking for power over others, impose power over others.” Luxury is not about seeking power over others. “Luxury refers to pleasure, refinement, and perfection as well as to rarity, and the costly appreciation of that which is not a necessity.”
The American sociologist, and author of The Power Elite, C. Wright Mills, wrote, “Prestige is the shadow of money and power.” Examples of synonyms for prestige are status, standing, stature, reputation, repute, regard, fame, note, renown, honor, esteem, celebrity, importance, prominence, influence, eminence and more. These are not synonyms for luxury. Examples of synonyms for luxury are premium, lavish, indulgence, expensive, extravagant, affluence, opulent."
My brain now hurts....😆
Nice looking watch, if they put the same pattern on the back of the watch on the rotor it would look much more appealing.
Outstanding video Nigel, and thank you for sharing. I applaud their effort and outstanding results. Original design, great specs, and good quality. Price in mi humble opinion is a bit high, and this is where things may get a little challenging as there are lots of choices in that price bracket. I wish this team much success 🙌 👍👏
Thanks Rafael! As you say, there is no shortage of alternative watches in that range. I applaud them too for coming up with something different. Material prices and overheads are always going to be higher when you've just started out and with relatively small production runs. I really hope they achieve good sales so they can expand with new models in the future.
Take care my friend and have a great weekend 😃🙌
@@SirWatchGeek Very true, and these are the challenges a startup operation faces, but I would say they are out of the gates to a great start. I am certainly going to keep an eye on their progress and future projects. Hope you have a lovely weekend with Mrs. Watch-Geek!
They should have done a collaboration with jag land rover or aston Martin
A good fair review with some excellent photography 👍. It did look much better on the thicker brown strap. One thing I noticed is the back of the watch is very flat over a very large area. I have a Citizen which doesn't have a case back and consequently has a dead flat back and in the summer it makes my wrist much sweatier than my other watches.
Thanks mate! And that's a very interesting point you make! I'll hopefully find out if we have a decent summer ☀️😄👍
I liked it on the brown strap, for sure. Not a watch I'd wear daily, but maybe out on a tear somewhere. 5atm is disappointing.
Thanks for your comments my friend! Personally, I don't think 50m is too bad for a non-dive watch. My Breitling Navitimers are only rated to 3atm! 😳😄👍
@@SirWatchGeek I bow to your better judgement kind sir !
@@skookumjack You don't want to listen to me - I know nothing! It's an act! 😆 Have a good weekend mate 👍👊
Seen one of these today at a watch show the presentation packaging (box) would benefit from being better quality its the first thing an internet buyer sees and first impressions count
I was at the very same watch fair! Good wasn't it?
In Bvor's defence, I think keeping costs down was probably more important. I for one, am never precious about the packaging a watch comes in - it only goes straight in the loft anyway! 😄
I do understand that though, that to some, quality packaging can add to the whole watch owning experience 😃👍
Decent looking watch but not to my tastes.
That's a fair enough comment sir. And it's a good job we all don't like the same thing! 😄👍
There website sucks
