Seriously. If you told me 20 years ago that 20 years from now some hardworking fans are gonna get together and add characters to a badass 20+ year old game, I'd call you stupid and spit on you for being such a peasant.
I mean, we had truckloads of brawl mods before huge smash 64 (or melee) mods were ever worked on. But the amount of LOVE put into this, especially the ORIGINAL MUSIC which most mods don't bother with is unheard of, and it makes 64 an absolutely complete Smash game as opposed to just putting stuff in for the sake of it
The knockback is basically making the fixed angle being one determined by RNG. And well, new thecniques to easier progaming has been found, allowing for more complex elements on the console.
Except for the whole... official Piano. But that isn't really disappointment. People really wanted to play that thing! Smash Remix is almost as great as Project M!

Update: the newest update is not out yet but I think it's confirmed to be banjo and kazooie and it should be realised within the next 30 days (this is just a guess based off old uploads and estimates)

The ending would be with all the toys laying on the iconic desk when the door closes, indicating it was all for play, and the child was summoned for dinner or something.

You know who would be sick as shit for us '90s kids? Having fucking Agumon in this game. He could be agile until he digivolves into Greymon, as a slowed down powerhouse. DOWN-B could be digivolve/de-digivolve. He could have a similar fighting style to Bowser, but instead of drowning foes in fire with B, you'd use pepper breath as a projectile. A reference for his look could be the old Digimon World game from the Playstation. It would also kick ass because Pokémon and Digimon are rivals, so putting them against each other for the first time would be epic.
Wolf I expected since most of the new characters (with the exception of Wario and Conker) are basically clone/echo fighters. Conker is way out of left field, but then again, the official games allowed M-Rated characters like Snake and Bayonetta to compete (with modifications to make them more family-friendly).

It’ll be a total smack in the face if the next 3 characters are Rayman, Banjo and Goemon. I would rather Goemon than the other two, but this mod is nice regardless. Conker is looking good. Wolf kinda reminds me of Smash 2. Exactly what I’d imagine Wolf would be like in 64.

@@heatran1919 Conker had basically a kid game for the Gameboy and a cameo in Diddy Kong Racing. Conkers Bad Fur Day was his first big game and it was aimed at adults. It's a hilarious game too (at least by late 90s/early 2000s standards) Besides remaking Bad Fur Day for the original Xbox he hasn't done much else outside a few cameos

6:25 I think this was a sign that conker was also being add as you can see, in the box there are rupees, coins, bananas etc for all of the smash bros characters, but as you can see, there is the stack of money with the eyes in there, from said game, Conker's Bad Fur Day, but hey, who would've actually paused the video to even notice that anyways?

I know it's only been official smash characters so far, but I'm praying for Geno. Even if he got some of mii gunners moves, he would just be so much fun on the smash 64 engine
@@greasymcbeef yeah, posted this before the premier. Conker opens the door to some fun options but I dont have much of an opinion on his inclusion, never played any of his games
@@heatran1919 Conker had basically a kid game for the Gameboy and a cameo in Diddy Kong Racing. Conkers Bad Fur Day was his first big game and it was aimed at adults. It's a hilarious game too (at least by late 90s/early 2000s standards)
Besides remaking Bad Fur Day for the original Xbox he hasn't done much else outside a few cameos

@@Ozzmosisf35 James Bond was only considered for Melee and not 64. Plus they couldn't get the rights to his actor's facial likeness so he was out of the question after that. But yeah, James Bond should be in this rom hack.

Not sure if Jhoanna Dark could be added in the game because of Conker taking the spot and probably other reasons but i am super happy to see DataDyne building in the game!
Johana Dark is a great character and the mod need more female characters :D
