As much as I like the later Smash entries Smash 64 will always have a special place in my heart, the combos you can pull off are absolutely crazy and devastating.
Kinda wish the newer smash bros games still had the score system like 64 and melee had tbh, especially since it would reward you for doing insane things (as you see in the results screen of this video).
the windows 95 sound and 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 secret char unlock sound at the and has to be the sound that makes me the happiest in my entire life. I’ll be 30 in February. I was in first grade or kindergarten when this came out. Has been my favorite game ever since and I believe I associate the feeling of happiness with that sound an would stare at this unlock character, achievement, screen for hours after the sound went off, mesmerized, wishing that it had looped. Reminds me of season one, Pokémon in the morning, eating cereal, preparing for school a much simpler time when everyone was alive, right? Everyone was happy… how far have we fallen man

Noxxa has apparently figured out how to make an unholy fusion of Mêlée Fox, Brawl Metaknight, Smash 4 Bayonetta, and Ultimate Hero, all manifesting as the former...in Smash 64. *HIYAAAAA!!!* (makes 80 billion Shine noises)
this has been done already... it's not perfect, but 2.6 million seems to be around the limit.... ua-cam.com/video/Ih8vVGRvWCw/v-deo.html but you can remove the time and inflict infinite damage and you could get infinite point technically. There is way to it RTA as well most notably creating a "black hole" using link invisi-bomb
