Sick watch ! One of the watches you really wants to own. I do not care when they are saying that there is some similarities between Royal Oak, for me this is totally different and separate story.
This was my other choice but went for the GP Laureato Blue …. Don’t regret it ! However im sure i would have loved the alpine eagle to, looks awesome ..
Very good review: description and photography and close ups. Ariel Adams of ABTW LA has just been to Chopard’s Fifth Avenue new boutique opening last Monday 5 December 2022. They released a new all yellow Gold watch; bracelet and Eagle’s Eye dial: Like my favourite all yellow Gold Rolex Sky Dweller; Datejust 41 and Day Date 40. Chopard for some reason: as they are the equal and superior to Patek Philippe, haven’t become hyped and unavailable. Their LU Chopard premium mechanical watch line are A.Lange & Söhne equal.
Is the steel sports watch category really that saturated? Aren't all watch categories saturated? Pilot, field watch, skindiver, dive watches, racing inspired chronographs and the list goes on.
Nice but they got the pricing wrong, too expensive . Chopard , although a prestigious brand , is mainly for jewellery and women’s watches in my opinion ; I m pretty sure these would lose over 50 % of their value right out of the store . At these prices that would be a pretty substantial haircut for most people….Finally, come on, this is nowhere near an AP Royal Oak in terms of brand/ model , prestige and value appreciation. Most AP Royal Oaks appreciate with time , while these will most probably depreciate substantially right away . I guess they are trying to jump on the integrated bracelet “ bandwagon “ like many others recently. Just like the integrated bracelet IWC Ingenieur , these would make a good buy preowned, at a healthy discount .
Have you seen the price of the old 40mm IWC Genta Ingenieur 3239? It's twice the price it was when it launched... USED. I believe the new Ingenieur will also increase in value over time.
@@PoltergeistWorks That’s nice, you go ahead and buy one then…. Don’t forget to factor in inflation in your calculation/ projection. Everybody is talking about how overpriced they are!
It's pronounced SHOW-pard not TCHO-pard. $14K is a joke for this wannabe. For the money, there are lots of quality options not trying (and failing) to copy a true classic. If the Royal Oak didn't exist I'd say nice watch. But it does, so - at this price point - it's pathetic.
SHo-Par. It's a great watch and deserves more attention. Love that this Pine Green dial is a boutique only edition also.
Thanks for informing him of the correct pronunciation it was killing my 👂 🤣
The alpine eagle range is all exclusive to boutique
Sick watch !

Great video with stunning green dial Chopard
It would look better without the date, otherwise it's a killer watch
100%
yep
For sure. Def out of place there
They offer a 33mm ladies version without date and it looks so good
36 looks better
This was my other choice but went for the GP Laureato Blue …. Don’t regret it ! However im sure i would have loved the alpine eagle to, looks awesome ..

This watch looks stunning!
(sh ō par) Love the watch. Sweet dial, great bracelet. I actually prefer the date.
It's gorgeous
Cool review! Video is awesome! As stated below sho-PAR. Also, it's made of LU-sent steel.
Par curiosité....quel est ton tour de poignet ?
lovely watch but may be a bit big for my 7" wrist. That green dial is fantastic!Still not cheap either...thx T&T - keep 'em coming....
Nice looking piece. Does the bracelet taper at all? Looks a bit thick
Green or blue? Which one to get?
swiss or micro?
CHo-Pard? Please humor me and do next a review of a Jaeger-LeCoultre...
Shots are great, review is good…. Not sure why editors would allow video to be released with gross mispronunciation of the brand…..
The deal breaker for me is that 4 o clock date
Love it !
14.800 USD - a lot of watch for the money?? 🤔
Is that the 41mm on your wrist? It looks so small.
I found that it wears a lot smaller than a sub
Remove the date and make it 39mm.
The smaller version of the alpine eagle is there without date.
With blue & Grey dial
@@danisheverblue But it's only 36mm

Dude, it's not a CHoparD! It's Shopaar with a sh and without a d. Learn your names if you are a watch journalist!
Be nice
I'm not gonna roast you on how you butchered your sponsor's brand name. Most of us need to earn a living in fields we aren't passionate about.
Grand seiko - where u at?
Junk compete’s, with the greatest watchmaker and Icon, AP!
Did a real person just say Cho-pard?
Its like the Nautilus, Royal Oak, and Santos had a beautiful green baby!

Bvlgari scuba diver's watch is definitely a bargain I can tell...

@@theoverlord1925 You can also show me one of these for "50% off right out of the store" - I'll gladly buy one ;)
In fact Chopard has been started as a watch maker not jewelry one
It's absolutely gorgeous but too expensive for what it ultimately is. Should be more like Tags prices.
😂 what a joke.
Chowpard 😂
You can't possibly be pronouncing Chopard correctly.
The bracelet is terrible. They need to come up with a rubber strap.
I want to like this but it's just so ugly
Who else is experiencing stainless steel integrated bracelet sports watch fatigue?
Ugly and extremely overpriced

There's no 'd' in the pronunciation, gaylord. It's 'show-par'.
