Top interview worth watching again and again. With a collection of CW models from legacy to NOW, what I love the most is the light catcher case which sets the C60 above all the slab-sided mainstream and microbrand watches: I don't need Omegas any longer.

I feel like a true travelers GMT and Chronograph using their own in house movement are all they are missing if they want to sell more £2K-£4k watches. Which I'm sure they do. CW feels like they are attacking that Longine type bracket. As long as they keep servicing the £700ish-£1300ish bracket as well then the BMW product range analogy seems super appropriate.

Funnily enough, MAMACOO's replicas are perfect for people who can actually afford a luxury watch. Because in those social circles, it wouldn't matter and everybody would just assume it's real. You have a yacht and a beach house in Tuscany, of course that replica is real. There isn't a millionaire out there going around with a jeweller's loupe to scrutinize their acquaintance's watch. I would not say overhyped but the point is that it is very hyped.
People say Rolex is hyped when it isn't, and completely ignore how much actual hype there is around CW, Studio Underd0g etc.

Hype and product are completely separate, so it's interesting that CW fanboys are in denial of any hype.

They make great watches and I like the brand a lot (own 20+ models) but there has been a notable increase in hype this year and I'm the sort of person that gets turned off by it!

Great video Andrew and what an interesting story for a very young brand. Salute to CW🫡

This is one of those interviews that pushed me further from the brand. Sorry CW, your CEO presented as arrogant and his insights on the brand were bland. 🥱
