Walking Workout for Seniors & Beginners // Fun Low Impact 2000 Steps

- Thank you for joining me for this 1 mile walk! All exercises are knee friendly, easy to follow and low impact. This workout is appropriate for all ages to get your steps in and increase your heart rate. We will alternate aerobic moves with walking in place for a fun way to move our bodies.
This walking workout is under 20 minutes and is set to the music so it keeps us moving at an achievable pace. I was able to get 2000 steps in!

I'm not a senior, but a 43 year old who gained a lot of weight with my last child, and then the 2020 brought on some heavy depression, so I gained some more. I used to be very active, was very fit, worked a very laborious job, and was healthy weight. It's been so hard finding my old self again. I even started to experience some agoraphobia because of the shame I've felt about my body.
Recently, my father was diagnosed with terminal cancer, which was brought on by poor lifestyle. That was my wake-up call!
I found this video and have been able to manage it quite well, even with my bad knees. I've even lost 8 lbs in under 2 weeks and have better mobility already!

I've been doing your workouts for a couple years now. I want to mention that I lOVE the music in this workout because it's got great beats/ rhythms to keep me going rather than popular music with words that mostly distract me. MORE of this rhythmic beat music would really work for me. Thanks for providing good cardio & strength workouts for those of us who just want to be fit without hurting ourselves.

I really loved this workout Lauren. Been doing your seated strength and stretch for a few weeks after fracturing my fibula but I'm able to stand and do low impact now so this new walking workout is absolutely perfect. Thank you for keeping the workouts different and I interesting...just so enjoyable. I do your workouts every day.🙂

I re-injured my knee & starting to feel better but didn’t want to chance hurting it this week before leaving on vacay this Fri. Just did your video instead of your weight workout & it’s just what I need to get my day going! So hard having a 58 year old body with a 38 year old ambition😂😂 but your workouts have really helped me get good workouts without constantly hurting myself … thank you again💞

Lauren! I love your workouts! I am 50, so not a senior yet, but I really am having fun doing your routines and they are not to easy for me at all! Yet they are easy on joints which is wonderful. I never have joint pain after them, yet my heart rate is nicely high. Thank you for such well planned balanced routines! They are wonderful.

THANK YOU so much for these low-impact workouts. I'm 64 years old and have degeneratie disk disease. I have not been able to work out for months because of mutliple procedures. I just started back, and you made it possible. Bring back as many 80's moves as you'd like. Love it!

I've just been doing your recent kettlebell video every day and I'm starting to see results! It's one that I'm super comfortable doing over and over to develop a routine, and it's worked so well, I've been motivated to work out on days I thought I'd be taking off. I even went on a long hike today and made it to the top of the mountain! Yesterday I found it was easier to stand up, thanks to those deadlifts, and my immediate thought was "this ass has sass!!" Thank you!!! ♥
