Well I hope you passed with flying colors because this is truly amazing
What di the parents do?
What a masterpiece!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
you know that the beard is stuck to the face not the body
I don't think I remember a Lego fight scene that impressed me as much as this one has. Stunning composition, clear fighting, fluid movement, a tight story with such a great ending, just fantastic editing, and absolutely stellar action. Definitely going to be a big inspiration on the project I'm currently working on, and by far is my favorite Lego fight scene ever. Amazing job man!
Awesome to hear! Thank you!
Indeed!!! Simply great 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 congrats to the team!!!
Then you all should see scene from Potop in LEGO by CCiamek that actually exist, just write LEGO potop
This was pretty awesome, loved the cinematography. Love to see more of your content. Keep it up.
thanks, and we will
How is it this doesn't have more views?! Amazing story telling and great characters! 😃
The bit where they start circling each other in the garden outside is one of the coolest things I've seen done in LEGO.
Your editing and shot choices are outstanding, you tell a really effective story through the action. The choreography is impressive and clear, little details like the figs getting covered in mud and the scratches on their faces make this feel more grounded than the average brickfilm. And you managed to pull off a proper and well-earned gut-punch ending! Great work 👏👏👏
Bro thanks so much! Im a huge fan of your work so that means a lot.
I love that you took some lines and moves from movies like The Matrix or Kill Bill and the way you made the minifigures move is just amazing!
Dude, this is totally going in my 'best stop motions ever' playlist!
Awesome!
This is outstanding.. the cinematography is astounding.. seriously awesome work guys!
i am so mad that this doesn’t have more attention. easily the best made and written brickfilm
How did I just now stumble upon this. Not only was the animation spectacular the music and cinematography was on point! And the story telling was the best I have ever seen in a stop motion till this day! The ending literally gave me goose bumps. Bravo a thousand times, this was impeccable.
Sunrise Studios Thanks, means a lot! The end part gives me goosebumps every time 😂
chicken studios haha the way it was animated and the way the music cuts back in was masterful! 👏🏽
I love that Kill Bill reference in the beginning, great use to create a good story for what is coming in those 10 years. Beautiful stop motion.
This is the closest to a proper fight seen I have ever witnessed in a brickfilm. Most just have the characters slapping/shooting each other, or they have really nice effects, but unimaginative camera angles. Lego fight scenes have the potential to be much more cinematic. This is the closest I've seen for capturing a truly impressive lego fight.
Thanks, man! I totally agree with you. A lot of brickfilms have a camera facing down angle and it's not very cinematic, I wanted the camera to be at eye level to the minfigures so it's more natural and like an actual film.
Wow, I absolutely hate myself for not seeing this when it was uploaded. Very well done, man! The camera panning, the cinematography, and the animation were all just right on the spot. Very nicely done.
Thanks man! its great to hear that people enjoy our work, and don't hate yourself :)
This is a huge source of inspiration for a Brickfilm project I'm working on, also I thought it was funny that the younger guy in the red brought 3 swords and all of them still broke
i love the way the song that plays when sensei and the assassin are fighting mirrors their relationship
Wow…the music choice and the way you directed this project was so on point. Keep it up man this is really impressive 🙂👍
Loved the cinematography! Keep up the good work
Very well produced, brief and ir never loses the seriousness of the story.
This is the kind of story that I like to see or in this case, watch
Thanks! Me too!
This was excellent. I love the set and that scene at the end was amazing.
One of the best LEGO stop motions around.
DUDE UR SOOOO UNDERRATED THIS IS AWESOME I LOVE IT
Bruh! You got to everyone’s recommended page, use your power wisely! Nice video! If you keep this up, you will get to 1000 in NO TIME
Great Brickfilm! Love the story and the fight animation. You put a lot of work into this film. Excited to see more!
Incredible fluidity with this battle scene. Wonder how you brickfilm with that mud :O
thanks, the mud is a mixture of plasticine and its actually easier to animate with :)
@@chickenstudios8991 Where can one buy that stuff
The ending was great and the fight was very impressive. Good job.
this was so good, one of the best lego fights animations ive seen on youtube
Sweet! Loved the fight scenes and camera movement. - Joshua LDE UTC (Tideway)
REALLY REALLY CREATIVE! Nice work man
Such a good brickfilm. I love how the ending comes full circle with the beginning.
This was actually really good and I’m glad I decided watch it. The animation, fights, and story were really good! Only thing that confused me was that the boy grew up to look like the guy from the intro but I caught on and see what you were doing before the end which I really like how it ended.
circle of life type thing
2:40 looks like the matrix fight. epic stop motion.
Victimization cycles like this always hit hard. Great job!
Still watching it in 2021. This film is so good made, the movements, the perspectives & the story are excellent. Your Work is so much underrated!
Thanks 👍
Wonderful video! I can only think and relate the quality of this video to some (you know which) Tarantino movies. I loved this. ❤️😱👍👍
Maaan that's incredible work!!! I absolutely love it!! Really great work with fight "choreography" and camera work. Also good choice for music. Please, keep up!
Pavesome Films thanks 🙏
This look so good considering legos limitations
Story was awesome and background and every thing(music.effect)❤️
Great! Thank you for this animation!
Great work! One of the best Lego sword fight animations I’ve ever seen! New sub
What a story.its epic with amazing fights using stop motion to his advantage.it is also sad with a man wanting revenge for his father's death only to make his kid want the same thing
Oh my god, this was incredible. Instant sub
Cool best parts animation and lighting
I think you’re the most underrated UA-camr I’ve ever seen
C.A.D Productions lol thanks!
I am a person who likes to make Stop-motion animations with a good story. I have a playlist with good videos (imo) for bettering either the story or animation. This, my friend, was so good I put it in it. The music, the action, which I like how there aren't nonsensical spins to make it flashy, the plot... All amazing. U deserve a much bigger audience.
Wow thanks! I’m glad you liked the video, I put a lot of work into it and I think it came out really good. Where can I find this playlists?
@@chickenstudios8991 I think they're on my channel. But seriously,👏👏👏👏👏
sensei wu has been training for this exact moment
Lol
And the cycle continues. This is great stuff
This was a good story and a wonderful commentary about the patterns of life. Well done.
This is like…the single best thing I have seen in my miserable life
I love this video!!! It definitely deserves lots more attention
Thanks, glad you like it!
It's a shame your not atleast at 1k subs not only is your animation amazing jeez that story tho goodness man
the 9 kids who disliked this its probably because they don't know that this takes so much effort and they have to take every shot of the movie
Lol maybe, I think it could be parents who don’t like the “violence” shown in a LEGO video but it is what it is, I don’t mind all to much.
@@chickenstudios8991 yeah could be that too
This is a really good. The animation is so smooth
The animation is so realistic I keep forgetting I’m watching a Lego video
I love this film! Is just so amazing!
I like this movie a lot. Especially the fight scenes are well done. You have one more sub.
Bro I just noticed that he use the kill bill line in the beginning

Flipper BrickStudios thanks man! Pretty awesome that it’s inspired you, that’s what UA-cams all about! Good luck with your stop motion 😁👍.

So smooth! Wow
The song was perfect 👌
Great story, sets and animation! :)
This was dope
Epic movie, this must have taken so long, one innacuracy, katanas were the strongest sword in the world at the time-they didn't break.
EMP Films thanks! The sword was magic 😐 and made from plastic 😂
Amazing film!
Flow! Extraordinary!
Sooooooooooooo UNDERATED this is epic!
It is so sad it almost made me cry
🙂 that was the plan
:/
Bro this video is so underated
I feel like crying, u have such little subs at such high quality 😢
Lol thank you, an emotional response is the best outcome to hear!
This is incredible, I’m curious for the camera movement are actually moving the camera or adding movement in post?
Kill Bill! Only difference is the child actually comes back for revenge XDDDD I bet chicken studios made this right after watching kill bill
2:47 reminds me of the matrix, with the wall run then a kick from the opponent
Masterpiece
Just saw this. It's great!
Thanks 🙂
The beginning sounds like it’s a reference of kill bill.
Felix Chan indeed it is 🙂
Any time I hear this song I think of this video
Wow. Just...wow. This is much better than my fight scenes. I’m trying to improve on them.
Thanks! Just keep making them an you’ll get better!
Your welcome. By the way, could you give me some pointers on removing clay from minifigures? I’ve just finished animating a pretty decent shot of a sword stab, but it’s impossible to get the red clay off!
Not gonna lie it’s a constant struggle, I wipe them down with wet tissue and then use a toothpick to get rid of the little bits of clay. In my latest video I have two copies of each character one for close up stuff and one with the clay and dirt but that’s not always possible.
Thanks for the pointers. Right now I’m working on a test compilation. You know, walk cycles, fighting, falling, blood, stuff like that. I’m actually pretty proud of a walk cycle I made for my horse, it looks pretty fluid. By the way, what FPS do you run on? Each video I’m trying to get more smooth, so just curious.
It’s changed a lot over the years, I was on 15 FPS for a long time then went to 24 FPS which is what this video was animated on, but I’ve now changed back to 15 FPS sometimes 12 because i think it has a better look for what I do anyway and saves time compared to 24. It doesn’t really matter what the frame rate is really is really about the frame you take and the movement within them that counts. Anyway, experiment and see what’s best for you and good luck 👍.
Holy shit this is beautiful
This was very good
This is so good
Epic i like it
Nice kill bill reference
Jay Lovett 👍
This has given me great ideas for fighting styles and techniques. Also, THIS IS JUST PLAIN AWESOME!!!!!
Spinjitzu Master Falcon that’s great to hear! Thanks you.
@@chickenstudios8991 So how did you get the rain effects? I was wondering how I could add it to my stop motion videos
Spinjitzu Master Falcon for the rain I sprayed water on the set every couple of frames to get the droplets and puddles and then added a CG rain layer over the video to get the falling rain.
@@chickenstudios8991 that's awesome. I've been trying to figure out how to add special FX on my stop motion videos. Do you know how to add snow?
Spinjitzu Master Falcon depends on what software you use really but there should be a filter or plugin for whatever software for cg snow. If you want physical snow then you can try white kinetic sand for a snowy surface.
It was like watching kill bill but even better
I love this, it was done with care but i got broderlands vibes
Thanks!
