Sounds like if you remove the dB killers and install an X-pipe, you will for the most part have an aftermarket sounding exhaust? Looks like the stock mufflers are straight through once you yank those plugs out, so the CAT box under the motor is the primary restriction and sound reducing part of the system?
Would it be easy to place the baffle back for the stock sound? And what size Nelson Rigg is that on your bike- seems like a good size for the speed twin? Nice bike!
Did it cause any low speed throttle hesitation? When I changed the slip on on my street triple 2020 it took some of the throttle response away down low because no tuning is available for it. I’m picking up a speed twin tomorrow and wondering what kinda options I have for a bit more volume. It’s got enough performance already
You just unscrew them and slide them out. Only U.S. models though. I swapped mufflers for the Vance and Hines since. I could sell my stock ones if interested.
Hi, I bought a new 2021 Speed Twin and i find a problem of engine heat while riding it at low speeds or in traffic. The hot air literally feels in my thighs which makes the ride unpleasant. Is there anything that can help reduce the hot air or solve this issue?
I appreciate the effort; but, as is the case with many other video makers, you really need to learn to stop talking all the time, and let us listen properly to the engine.
Nice idle thump. And still keeps you from smelling like exhaust fumes with the cats still in
I didn’t know this was possible!!
Did you have to take the slip on off to get that screw? I can’t see it
Any solution to remove the burn marks from the exhaust pipe??

Video doesn’t do justice as to how good the Triumph Street Twin sounds. One of the best factory exhausts.
wrong bike, it's a Speed Twin...
How to remove? Any videos?

How did you take them off?
Can you please explain with a few more steps?
Thanks

Yes. Remove the catalytic converter.
@@FastLane1000 please tell how to remove it as I don’t know much about this bike parts. Thanks
Late reply, but you should get the ecu flashed. There's guides on UA-cam but googling "tuneecu" will get you pointed in the right direction.
Hello Lane Gordon, Have you ever seen signs of coolant leaking from the small hole in the middle of the oil pan under your speed twin?
