Another cool feature that I discovered is if you hold down the minus button at the same time as the on button it will go into vibration mode where the beeping sound is muted and it vibrates with a quieter vibration sound which I find less obnoxious than the beeps.
Think I'm going to get this I agree with a lot of the comments that it needs to be rechargeable maybe an option for it to be rechargeable or battery operated that would be cool and Bluetooth to your headphones or not make it optional so it's not just one way but maybe that's over engineering
I just got one free when I bought my new Gold Monster 1000 for $680 includes free shipping. now that I understand it a little further, Im not disappointed.
Thanks for the review, I do love the ease of use on those pro finds but I had two of the 35's and they were junk. I am looking forward to your one year review of that. Thanks again for putting this together. I remain ever hopeful. 😉
What would you guys recommend for a pin pointer that would be better then the pro find? I’m new to metal detecting I just got the vanquish 540 and have been trying to decide what pin pointer to get.
@rickylandry9979 The Garrett Pro-Pointer is really tough to get away from. I have my go-to and a backup. I really like those. And dont get scammed at getting a cheap knock-off. Here is my recommendation. amzn.to/3vL3yyR
@@5280Adventures awesome thank you so much for your recommendation! Yea I’m not one to cheap out on stuff to save a couple bucks. I’d rather make one purchase and buy better quality that will last. Thanks again I appreciate the quick response!
Good review and Video... A few Thoughts. Auto tune is already on the Pro Pointer AT by Garrett and has been out for over 5 years. Can't Believe they didn't make it wireless. It should sync to their Headsets for the Equinox/Manticore. What a Missed Opportunity. 😒 Also only waterproof to 3 Meters (10ft) not 10 meters.
An American using meters 😮. I'm shocked Tony. Lol. Liking the looks. Don't see anywhere to hook up my lanyard thou. Never mind Forest city website says it comes with a lanyard
It would depend on the type of field you are in. In a high iron area, I wouldnt want highest sensitivity as it would pick up everything in the hole. If there is one target in the hole, as higher sensitivity would be best.
Sorry, but yawn. I’ve been spoiled by the Sphinx 03 pinpointer. It has ferrous ID, magnetic on/off holster, an app with updateable firmware, user customizable max depth, built in lithium rechargeable battery, and on and on. The features are just bonkers. Highly innovative.

Thanks. I like the simplified method of sensitivity adjustment.

Great job on the review
Thanks for the update. I think Minelab dropped the ball on this, they should have make a pinpointer that is only heard thru the headphones.
I wish it was BT connected as well. And rechargeable.
Thank you. Excellent video teaching me how to use it.

Good Review.. Thanks for letting us know Minelab came out with a new pointer.. Awesome.. Peace

I agree they are cheap junk pinpointers .a joke

@@5280Adventures when you say a cheap knock off , are they making fake ones that look like the Garrett pro?

Great gear review. Thank you for sharing
Thx. Does the 'flashlight' stay on all the time ?
Yes. When you turn it on it stays on.
Thanks for sharing the review
Minelab needs to engineer this pinpointer to be Bluetooth-linked with the ML-85 headphones.
Amen to that
thanks 🎉
How much does it cost
Thank you!

I will like to buy, but i hate the battery system. Much better if it was rechargeable batteries system.😢

Yes, I forgot to show it! LOL
You missed out how to turn the vibrate on and sound off!
I like that new Minelab color on the 40 Tony. Is there a place to hook a lanyard!
Yes there is and I forgot to show it
It's waterproof to 3 meters or ten feet
why wouldnt you want sensitivity on highest all the time?

High sensitivity tells you it is in the hole. Lower might tell you which side of the hole
It's waterproof to 3 meters (10 feet), not 10 meters.
It's 3 meters water depth 10ft not 10 meters
Its a nice pin pointer but way overpriced.
if its anything like the 35 it is awkward overpriced junk!
Absolutely ZERO EXCITEMENT about this.
