Up until Meruem gets introduced Chimera Ant Arc is almost unbearably slow, fr stopped watching it for a lil while cuz it was that bad. Everything after Meruem gets introduced is some of my favorite storytelling ever
I actually really enjoyed the build up to Mereum. I thought the arc started to drag some in the middle as it built up to the palace invasion, like when the Lion guy and Cheetah guy were having fights that amounted to nothing or when Kilua is with the octopus guy
I think HxH's problem is that it's unfinished. I still feel like many of the characters we've been introduced to haven't yet gotten their time in the spotlight and become fleshed out. I think that's why people want it to continue so badly because we still want to see more of these characters and understand them better.

He gives you enough to get what's going on in the story, but the deeper world building and background lore of Bleach's world isn't so I'm your face. Most people don't know that Bleach's entire world is based off of the Buddhist 6 realms/Samsara. I don't blame them, I didn't even know that until recently. What I and others think is genius about Kubo's style, others think it's lazy or bad. To each their own, but I don't think it can be objectively called 'bad' even if some people dislike it

To me, what makes Hunter X Hunter more relatable than Naruto is that almost every character has unique goal they want to achieve instead of just becoming the strongest. I also see it as just two bros trying to explore the world, live their own life, and there's more values put in the show than just clashes with boring flashbacks/ or repetitive attacks. Finally, I doubt Naruto is more emotionally relatable than HXH considering Naruto chases his "best friend" who tries to kill him like 5-6 times man. Nobody in real life is doing that ish bro lol. At least Gon is more sensible that he cares more about his friends than random people, let alone people trying to kill him.
This sort of implies Sasuke is random but they were more like brothers since they related to each other a lot and and probably was one of narutos first friends/rivals but otherwise your right ig

Bleach is the most badass anime/manga. Its also the most complex Shonen imo which some people just write it off and dont see the insane amounts of themes, symbolism and poetry that Kubo utilizes. Kubos writing is insane as is his art. Bleach is honestly good from the beginning but Naruto does have the best start however once Bleach hits the Soul Society its 10/10 all the way through. Also HxH is honestly bottom of the barrel imo. Horrible arcs, pacing, underdeveloped characters and groups and just underwhelming nonsense. People are cappin when they say its better than Bleach, Naruto, Dragonball or even One Piece for example. Also tons of other shows are better IMO than HxH not just shonen. I hate how the elitists hype HxH up so much for its weird and cringey story.
