So glad to see you back @DarkPath. Hasn’t been the same without your videos. Awesome review. I’ve always liked your style and taste so I’ll take your word for this one and I”ll give this a listen. Appreciate it.
I really appreciate that, John. While things may not be the same, you'll still see me pop up here and there. The Dark Path died so that Matt could live. 😊 Cheers!
Cool to see you back. This album is so killer- I don’t even like prog metal, but they make it catchy and memorable. Love the audible bass, clean vocal parts, the melo-death moments. It is super intense.
Lando! Good to "see" ya mate. While I'm not sure "catchy" is the word I'd use for Horrendous, they're definitely memorable. They certainly know how to kick things up a notch. Thanks for watching!
I appreciate how thorough this review is. This album is still growing on me but I definitely feel like this album is a conglomeration of their entire discography wrapped up into a new and innovative album.
Great review Matt! I had written this band off after Idol because it was too proggy for my tastes. I will check this one out and see if it is more to my liking. Cheers!
Great review Matt. Do agree with you for the most part, they overdo it in some places, but also a lot of great riffs. And I prefer side B over side A. Cheers.
First things first, I love ramen 🍜…I consume an ungodly amount weekly. Second. That is one damn fine SIGH shirt. Third. It’s interesting how the opinion is I don’t need another so and so. Well considering that not even Morbid Angel is Morbid Angel anymore (probably never will be) and Cannibal is the largest death metal band ever, can’t help but feel that opinion is not keeping up with times. In the negative sense, for the sake of negativity. And finally…AWESOME-KILLER-WELL DONE..review 👏🏽🤘🏽🫱🏻🫲🏽
I'm an old man, I couldn't care less about "keeping up with the times." I dig what I dig and that's ok! Ramen rules. You may have missed what I was referring to as a "noodle" here, haha. Thanks for watching!
Cool review. Gonna have to check them out! Good seeing you again Matt!!🤘
Glen in the HOUSE! Good to see you too my man.
love the album, and the review. so happy to have matt back making some videos for HM. all the best.

@@that-matt-guy yeah maybe not catchy but memorable. You getting back in the game or is this a one off?
@@MrLando0 No plans for The Dark Path to return. But I will do reviews for Heavy Metallurgy when I want to. You'll see me around here and there.

I have another one in the works for Heavy Metallurgy, you shall see it within time. Thanks for watching!

I appreciate the kind words, Mr. Riddick. Thanks for watching and cheers!
Glad to see ya onscreen Matt! Ha ha, I have my Horrendous shirt on right now!!
Good to see you too, man! Horrendous certainly has a great graphic artist in their corner. Never seen a bad shirt by them.
Hey! A dark path sighting! Good to see you on my screen. Great review man
Thanks Lance! You'll see me again soon, within time.
Loving this album
It's never @TheDarkPath without the saxophone man. Great review dude!
Saxophone Man will NEVER die! Who else is going to buy all that grease and chains? Manowar can't do it forever...
Matt thanks for a great honest review will add to collection in 6 month to 1 year when the price goes down
It's why I don't even ehfff with vinyl anymore, my dude. CD is cheap! Thanks for watching!
Great review Matt! I had written this band off after Idol because it was too proggy for my tastes. I will check this one out and see if it is more to my liking. Cheers!
Yeah, Idol is probably my least favorite album by these guys. This one certainly improves upon it.
Great review Matt. Do agree with you for the most part, they overdo it in some places, but also a lot of great riffs. And I prefer side B over side A. Cheers.
LOTS of great riffs here for sure! I just think it can be easy to get lost in that sometimes. Cheers mate!
