- Titanium is a material widely used in multiple industries, applications are vast from dental use to building constructions. However, in watch making there are some major benefits, titanium is incredibly strong, lightweight, non-toxic, and corrosion-resistant. It is an ideal case material. At only 60% the weight of stainless steel, titanium watches wear extremely comfortably without sacrificing any of the strength of steel.
Titanium watches has been around since the 60s, so its not new, but its only until recent years, it has become more popular and affordable.
Watch my review of the Longines Spirit collection in Titanium, take a closer look at these very well made pieces. The Longines Spirit is an excellent everyday watch, automatic movement, silicon hairspring, hacking seconds, calendar display, seconds hand; it basically ticks all the boxes.
Longines Spirit Titanium Collection (2021). The Spirit collection is inspired by those pioneers conquering the air, land and sea relying on their Longines watches. Grade 5 titanium case in 40mm or 42mm. Automatic COSC-certified caliber L888.4 movement with silicon hairspring.

One of the most handsome & masculine watches I've ever seen to date. 💪 Extremely impressive....
I love the quick release bracelet and straps. I have that on my Formex Essence, and every watch should have it. In addition, I love when watch companies are not nickel and diming their customers (Charging obscene prices for bracelet links and straps).
i agree display case back would have been really great !
like it
what do yo think about the no date complication, you think is a real downside? you think willl i regret?
For me, no date give a more pure and beautiful dial design. Some watches with date ; the date window can be in the wrong position, date disc in various colors. I actually prefer no date.
@@watchprofessor thanks for the info very helpful.
Does It Have a Ghost date crown position? Would be a dealbreaker for. Me Thanks
of course it doesn't...It's an ETA specifically made for Longines specs... Like when Rolex had Aegler make their movements until they bought the movement maker out.
I'd love to see the movement.
Wrist roll joker!
2 years later and still no 37mm version. And no 37mm steel version without the date window. Looks like it'll never happen :((((
And no 42mm version in steel without date window
There is a 37mm version.
Longines is super fabulous premium brand I think they should be up there with Rolex and AP as well as I competition to Tudor
This suggestion must be based on an argument beyond logic and imagination
Put down the weed son.
A shame this watch has no glass exhibition back.
Why? The eta-based movement is too pretty to hide or you need extra thickness?
To your left there is a spirit collection lol
you should at least wear it in a review
