I would love to see a picture on Facebook what your salad looks like, in the bowl and container you eat it from, when it’s all chopped up with all your add on’s of rice, potatoes, etc… all mixed mixed up as you would eat it (not the beautiful photo display in the Holland bowl. Mine is quite large. 😊

I used empty containers for weeks that greens came out of lined wth paper towels instead of throwing them in trash
Have you ever been impacted by recalled ready to eat greens from the store? I find it tough not to wash everything… even if it says it’s ready to eat. ? Thoughts ?Meijer and Walmart are my primary stores when my CSA is off season.
No we have not. We have been batch prepping our salads like this for years. If you are concerned you probably shouldn't batch prep salads like we do.
No problem… I just wondered. Risk/benefit. I sometimes take the benefit of conserving time when I’m batch prepping too… and it certainly wouldn’t last as long if there was much moisture packed in your salad kits. I prep salad base too depending on what’s available.
I am not sure if the size is similar to yours, but Pampered Chef used to have a wooden bowl. I have one of them.

So Tammy, do you not eat breakfast in the morning? I heard you say you only do two meals a day you and Tom.
We break our fast at lunch time. That is our first meal of the day.
I just chop on my bread board. Works for us👍

Can you chop everything before you put in containers?
Not a good idea because it becomes pretty wet and then starts to decay. Better to chop the day you are going to eat it.
Do you find many stems in the kale?
No there wasn't too many stems. We do chop our salad so even if it had a lot of stems they would get all chopped up!
