    I started chopping my kale in a Breville food processor and quickly realized the value of doing so. It made it so much more likely that I would use it, because it was cleaned, chopped, and ready to go. Now I have yet another method to chop it into small pieces using the Vitamix like you’ve demonstrated in this video. I can’t wait to try it and share it on my UA-cam channel! Thank you for your continued inspiration!

    Thanks i did not know to do dry vegetables. Wonderful. Do you know if we can do beans from a can? I like to make bean burgers but use my food processor that is not good at mashing up the beans. I'm in the process of purchasing the food processor (using your link). They're recommending the Food Processor Attachment compact lid also. Your thoughts?

    • @NutmegNotebook
      @NutmegNotebook  2 місяці тому +1

      We have it but have never used it. Vitamix says "If you’re primarily using the multi-use blade, this is a great way to reduce the number of pieces you have to keep track of and clean. This lid also turns the work bowl into a storage container, which can then fit easily into the refrigerator." I keep my regular top on the processor in the cabinet so when i pull it out, it is already there. I never store mixes in the work bowl as I always clean it right away as that is easier than cleaning later. If you don't need to use the chute system for a mix, I can see that it would be less to clean.

      I called about getting a new low profile 64oz container for my old vitamix but it’s not compatible with mine. I bought my vitamix in the early to mid 90’s so can’t use the nice updated gadgets with it. Hate to spend $500-$600 on a new one when I would just rather update to the low profile container. Thanx for you your channel and recipes.
