Hi! These walnut barrister bookcases were made as a gift for my mom for Christmas. They'll be used to display various trinkets and knick knacks. The boxes are modular and can stack on the one beneath with the bottom one registering on the base.
The knobs are solid brass and attach to the half lapped door frames. Each door can pull out and slide back for access to the boxes. The finish is walnut oil. I will have plans available soon along with an overview video discussing the boxes and their intricacies. Thanks for watching.
Here are products I like to use often in the shop. These are affiliate links. Purchasing through these links helps support the parillaworks channel. Thanks!

I honestly don't remember subscribing to you, but the second I read the title, I knew this is why I subscribed. Anyone who would make a barrister bookcase, especially a small one just for knick knacks is exactly someone I like.

Hello from Ukraine. You are very cool. Sorry to suggest, but if you shift the axis of rotation of the door inward by a couple of millimeters, then under the influence of gravity, the bottom of the door will press itself without outside help. Again sorry if I offended you.

You have an incredible shop. Can I make one suggestion for the Barrister cases. Put a small flat magnet on the lower door frame and one on the case side. even glue on strip magnets will to hold the door closed.

I love this so much!! besides that the shelves are quite cute at miniature scale (wish I could see them in their final location - is it for a kids room or kitchen display or...?); the small scale makes it easier to follow what’s going on in the video - like it’s easier to see what part of the design you’re working on.
