The legend is back
When you slide that 2nd drawer home, it's like seeing a well matched couple come together at a wedding altar to be married, and you are glad they found each other.
This is a valuable addition to my woodwork collection ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxbnOKZBE4evMO5V2vroHeCjq6d_MV6wJO I still will rate this woodwork plan as the best in my reference library. It always seem to stand out from the rest whenever you go through the library. This is a masterpiece.

Each time I watch this bloke building something makes me realize that he compares to other wood workers like a scalpel compares to a rubber hammer.
Love the way the live edge was used and of course the fit of the pieces is just gorgeous. A very classic piece with some unique features that really stand out.
I don't have the patience to handcut dovetail 😂
First. The piece looks fantastic. SUGGESTION: Within the groove that holds the glass, insert a thin strip of felt or urethane to soften the sound of the glass as the doors close. Or, use thicker glass. Same thing can be done with the magnetic catches. Recess the magnets ~1mm so a felt or urethane sheet layer is flush with the wood surface. In both cases, the doors may close quieter.

I was actually looking for a fix for a couple of my glass doors for my barrister bookcase, when I happened upon this video. I was absolutely in awe of the detail and precision this piece of furniture was made. Beautiful!! I wish I grew up around this kind of stuff.
