You don’t need a color switching printer to print name plates like that. In your slicer, you can put a pause at the last layer of the flat part and swap the filament, then resume in the new color. I did this for the impact wrench kit that Jonah pope sells so I could get the socket size numbers to stand out more. That one took 3 swaps to do it right.

This kind of thing is increasing my internal pressure to get some packout. It looks fairly universal and easy to modify.
@@OnusBones they are very easy to modify. I have done numerous amounts of modifications to mine stay tuned I will show you many more……. They are head and shoulders above the competition however, you do pay for that 💰
@@Tooling_with_Newman Pricey, yes, but I should be able to scare up (yes, my wallet will shriek at me) several hundred for some Packout pieces.

Good video on how to take them apart. I bet people see your garage and go 💰 🤑 💸 💲 🪙 💶 😆. I would to iffI needed that level of organization. Can you 3d print the uk version that's black. I'm so jealous of them over there I'm not a fan of the red but I do use a few.
@@MattHmm-rq6dn yeah they do people ask me all the time how much would I charge them to come organize but I say the same thing every time sorry I only do it for myself ………I love the black Packout I was in the UK last year looking at them
