    I just bought it yesterday as a first time saddle hunter and I’m excited! It was more affordable and simplified for a beginner. I like how they kept Tethrd’s designs and the way the sticks stack nicely! I’m excited to use this system! You have inspired me to try out a saddle, seems awesome of how mobile it is! Thanks for the review!

      Yay! Excited for you! I’m going to check out a dealer nearby tomorrow. What was the price for the kit?

    • @mad2448-g5d
      @mad2448-g5d 4 місяці тому

      @@breekelsi it should’ve been $675 but I got a discount for 10% so it came out to with tax around $630. I still need the HYS strap, bow hanger, knee pads/ cushion, and I want to get rope man ascender. But it was def cheaper than buying a saddle alone, then the hauler bags, and tethrd and lineman’s rope, and recliner. Def a cheaper option and I love it all its really nice

    I always had portable, climbing tree stands. Never had a ladder stand, because of hunting public land. Did not want other hunters moving in, because they found my stand. Wish saddles were available years ago. Thanks, Kaitlyn. Love your videos!!

    You could wait on the cost of a platform if you climb up to a big enough branch or set of branches to use as your platform. For anyone wanting to buy a little at a time so to speak.

    It's a good system like mine, but I did it all by myself. It would be even better if you increase the width of the belt under your back by 2 times and replace the saddle with a wide board. And so everything is OK.

    Look I’m all for saddle hunting and frankly think it’s the best thing out there for mobile, modular hunters on public or private land. There isn’t anything affordable about this set up. Typical industry hype. $300 saddle, $200 for steps and 180-200 for the platform. $700 isn’t my idea of affordable. Using the same system I personally use I can get in a tree for under $300. If people don’t agree just look up prices. Again, I am all for saddle hunting or anything getting more people into the outdoors but spending this much money shouldn’t be considered an affordable package.

      @HardLifeBowhunting-m8h yeah. A simple line worker setup, or rock climb set up with a small foot.platform can easily do the same. It's just funny that companies are charging 💲💲💲 for "specific" equipment.

    With everything she listed here minus the quick draw bow how it is $851. I can easily tell you I am way outdated on prices of things, but I would hate to see what the price of normal-priced saddle hunting items cost. Great vid as always.

      You have to look at it like you only need one set up. And you don't technically need all the accessories. So you're paying for one system that is cheaper than others. Yes everything these days is expensive. Inflation sucks. But you're not having to buy a bunch of treestands to put out either. Also this comment is for everyone to see, not directed at you specifically. Just wanted to clarify for those asking

    Like the videos but grit is not affordable to the average* working man. That’s more like the mondo from xop if we’re being honest amongst everyone. The average* house hold income is 74k + or - and that’s gets wrapped up into bills very quickly speaking from a house hold that makes more than that. The grit is a great way to break the bank and find out that saddle hunting isn’t for you. To every one. Get the xop to see if you’ll like saddle hunting because once you buy this the people who can easily afford this isn’t going to buy it used from you.

    • @KaitlynMausOutdoors
      @KaitlynMausOutdoors  4 місяці тому

      Yea I guess it's all about perspective. You can buy a super cheap saddle and have a bad experience because it's not made well. This is meant to be top quality stripped down and simple to use at a lower price point than the top of the line. You also aren't buying more than one like you would treestands.

    • @misterb6839
      @misterb6839 4 місяці тому

      @@KaitlynMausOutdoors all kinds of respect for you and yes, it’s all about perspective. I don’t mean to be rash but I’ve been running the xop for a couple years now and people hang upside down in them on UA-cam videos, I’ve had the opportunity to run a tethrd phantom setup that a hunting buddy has and it’s the exact same as the xop mondo except it has an extra set of linemen loops that I didn’t even use. I would rather save the money on a saddle and platform that can hold a sxs in the air(more YT videos I’m speaking of) and put the extra money into a lease or more cell cameras for public land and also food plots, a kayak/boat for access, a hunt out west! The list goes on. I just look at the broader picture.

      @@KaitlynMausOutdoors works great so far absolutely love it, and I didn’t break the bank 😂 we all know they pay you to talk good about them. It’s called a sponsorship, but don’t say it’s budget friendly when most Americans can’t go spend$300 $400 on a saddle. you know most of us work at a normal job to make the world go around. and for your information most of my stuff I use is from most the brand you use. I’m just not going on the website and spending stupid amounts of money when I can go on Amazon and get the exact same thing.🤡

      @@KaitlynMausOutdoors considering it’s still namebrand shit that you use yeah I’m going to take that chance I guess what’s the difference because it’s a little cheaper on Amazon I’m sorry I actually have a normal job where I have to go to a normal place and get paid a normal wage you know most Americans right now are struggling make ends meet but yeah, a two $300 saddle is budget friendly and that’s just the saddle. @@KaitlynMausOutdoors you’re the one out here saying this budget friendly, but most Americans are struggling to make ends of me. How is $200 on a saddle and that’s one of the cheap saddles how is that budget friendly for someone trying to get in when there’s cheaper options they just don’t sponsor you 😂 when I can get on Amazon and get the exact same things that you use in your hunting videos but because it’s from Amazon and not their website, it’s not good enough even though it’s still their brand and comes from their company get real cause I’ve looked in packages and looked into all these other places to get my saddle when you break it down it’s not worth spending five to $1000 on a cheaper set up when I can spend 300 on Amazon and get the exact same stuff might not have all the good perks like these ones well thats a budget you’re spending like $500 on climbing sticks and a saddle that’s it how is that budget friendly when that’s not all you need to get into saddle hunting yeah this package deals, but I can buy it separately for cheaper it’s OK that your butt hurt just remember you’re the one getting paid at the end of the day. I’m not. I’m just smart enough to not go spend a ton of money on stupid shit when I don’t need it. and I’m not out here calling everything budget friendly when most people get into settle hunting will break the bank. Sorry most Americans. that’s the problem with you UA-camrs. The product doesn’t even have to be good or anything like that as long as they pay you you’ll talk good about it and talk it all up. i’m just here stating that this is not a budget saddle package deal most Americans on a budget especially getting into saddle hunting for how expensive it is. I’d go on Amazon because it’s coming from Amazon. Doesn’t mean it’s not the same shit you’re using. It’s the exact same ropes. I just find it funnier that stupid for being a female you should know how Amazon works you should probably look on there. There’s a bunch of different saddles and equipment on there. That’s actually pretty good and top brands. Top brands that you use.😂😂😂🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
