This is so sad. I've been looking for a NES CLASSIC MINI and a SNES CLASSIC MINI for a long time. And there are so many fakes that look so similar to the originals that I dont even know what to do.The worst thing is that when you find a original one it's so expensive, beyond the 200 and 300 dollars.I guess I'll never have the original ones 😢
When you were showing the backside of the controller plug, the fake was not only missing the required CE amongst other things, but it used Phillips head screws and not tri-wing.
Good video. Its sad but a fact, there are more Fakes online to find than authentic ones. Only positive thing about that is that the authentic ones are getting very valuable for collectors in the upcoming years.
One thing not mentioned, but your fake one had a much longer controller cable when the original (16 or 18) were notorious for how short the controller cables were.
Didn't you notice that the fake has 5 games displayed in the game select menu? The real one has only 4..... The fake also had a full screen when you played Galaga
I just got a knock off version on eBay they put the right pictures of the cords but then when I get it it's not the same cords And the menu doesn't change the language or there's no legal statement or QR Code
No, they are lazy. I’ve seen one fake with completely wrong shape power adapter on which they stick a Nintendo logo on the side. That’s all their improvements
yea the fakes are getting good lately even with ds games on pokemon games the fakers have been watching how to spot a fake videos too make the perfect ds bootleg games
Almost same. 2018 Edition has more powerful cord and power adapter so they can be used for hacking it and support a flash drive with more games. If you not going to hack - same
Hi folks. May I ask what is the reason not to buu this fake ones? I never had any, played a little as a kid,and got an idea to get one to my son. I am looking and online stores and see that they sell suppously original for 200-300 bucks, and the fake ones for 30-40$. Again, whats the problems with fake version? Cheers!
I bought a nes mini for 90 bucks, the console was real, but the cords and controller are not. The buttons are really shitty, i cant dodge in punchout it makes it unplayable
@@SlSU.0 no, you may buy one relatively cheap locally on offer up if you find a deal and live in a big city. This way you can also inspect it personally
@@JOHNXTOPS I would suggest then to keep new original in tact for collection/reselling later. And for playing yourself - buy a used original on ebay, you can easily find for below $100 without box.
I'm Antonio from Italy, i know the game "GALAGA" mith arcade game. I have the Ninteno "fake", from Ebay for only 15 euros. Low price and many funny games !!!
@@alegreviews Have you tried to disassemble and insert a flash card with ROMs inside? There is a video on the Internet that inside there is a microSD flash card with ROMs
@darthputinsidious9282 I’ve seen one of those, it changed to crazy list menu and wasn’t working well. Fakes also use garbage materials, even such things as wiring, they break down quickly. You can buy a used original NES for like $80 and do proper modding with saving and everything. There is no reason to buy a fake. Unless you got it as a gift or bought a while ago and too late to return. Or it was like $20. Chinese probably sell them wholesale for like $10
Also, the controller screws on the ports of the real controllers use a proprietary tri tipped screw and the fakes use a regular Philips.

@@alegreviews, do you know where to buy authentic SNES console?
Got an authentic nes classic for only 160
I guess I am really lucky for a discount for a real nes mini for 150 bucks
I have 10 Authentic NES Classics but they are all Modded.
Cool. There is a to remove hakchi or/and remodify it if you need

something I noticed that nobody pointed out in every fake comparison. the cardboard ridges of the box are always horizontal on the fakes.
I have the 2018 edition of this console. Thank you for this informative info!
I am glad to help
Thank you!!! I just noticed that I bought a fake. Luckily, I found your video before it was too late to return it. ❤
I m happy to help
We need a ps1 classic fake vs original! Thanks for your videos
thank You for the request. To be honest with You - I have not seen fake PS1, also haven't seen fake Sega mini or TurbografX-16.
2016 and Fake are really hard to tell by box, only when You check inside.
I would always ask someone on eBay when there selling the product to provide more pictures as proof and such as that
also confirm with sellers that pictures are theirs. Some sellers use stock pictures or just copy them from someone
No matter how close the box is, you can tell almost immediately when you turn on the console.

Thank you very much buddy, I just got my Mini Nes and this video help me a lot. Everything is okay in my system 🙏🏻🇨🇴🇨🇦🔥🎮
You are probably luckier than most !!! Congratulations !!! Enjoy !!!
One thing not mentioned, but your fake one had a much longer controller cable when the original (16 or 18) were notorious for how short the controller cables were.
Yes. That’s the only thing that the fake one is better with. Fakes however don’t won’t with wireless ones
The fake ones menu music is messed up
yes, this is very common among fakes.
My dad ordered the NES Mini (PAL version) on Amazon for me in 2018 as a Christmas gift and I was lucky that it was not a counterfeit.
there were more original online back in 2018, now it gets harder and harder to get
@@alegreviews Oh. Good point there.
Fake box has horizontal corrugation and the real has vertical.
I got the same fake
I feel sorry for you. Try to return to the seller, if you still can
I just bought one hopefully it's original
You have this video to help you out to figure that
thanks yes look to be genuine

I recently saw a fake with all that. But you still see it is fake. Chevk with sellers if they use their own pictures
I bet the companies that make these watch these vids to improve the products
No, they are lazy. I’ve seen one fake with completely wrong shape power adapter on which they stick a Nintendo logo on the side. That’s all their improvements
You can tell the fake ones online by the price. A real one runs you $200 a fake one runs for $30.
Some people try to sell fakes for 100-150. And you can sometimes see people selling original around that price.
If you're paying more than 100usd for a real one you're paying too much
@Thalyy36 impossible to find in new condition for below $100. Used ones - possible

Does the 2018 hdmi cable have the nintendo logo on it ?
yes, NES 2016, 2018 and SNES Classics have Nintendo logo on one of the 4 sides of the HDMI cord

What was the paper the 2018 version didn't have that the 2016 did?
some Nintendo paper with a code, maybe 5$ coupon for Nintendo shop or something like that.
Everything I have seen so far has that same serial number
vast majority of fakes have same one, you are right

I have a real nes classic, but with fake controllers because I lost the real controller.
I liked Yok brand the most out of 3rd party controllers
My wireless controller didn't pair. After a short while I figured out that I must have a fake NES
Fake NES/SNES usually do not work with authentic controllers as well as wireless controllers.
They're bastards.
congratulations my angel

How do I access all the other games on the system ?
it only comes with 30. Press Reset button to save game progress and get to main game selection
Can the fake be modded?
no
