I think it was around 600-700w. So if you need to upgrade the videocard - you ll have to upgrade power supply as well

Pentium/celeron/athlon - super slow 4gb ram = super slow

Preferably same brand and model. But at least get something that’s not slower. Whole thing gonna work as slow as the slowest one the too. Don’t buy one with higher timings (CL)

I would choose better cpu and ram over bigger screen. So if 14” good enough size - go with faster one

SSD can die instantly, HDD usually die gradually. But I prefer SSD everywhere except when I need over 4TB.

@@ronniead5317 I can’t tell you from the perspective of someone who upgraded from an old windows laptop but I can give mine. I personally LOVE it, it has so much features that my previous macbook did not have. I play my favorite games like Titanfall 2 Overwatch 2 and Battlefield without problem (especially since my PS4 broke ever since). The screen also surprised me how smooth it is , going from 60hz to 144hz IS HUGE and i lokey be hitting some nasty shots in TF2. But I doubt these games are hard to run for any computer. The CPU handles my music production tasks with a breeze, I’ve only ever had it crash like ONCE opening one of my biggest projects. I recently invested (ONLY) $140 for a 2 TB ssd and installed it myself. Ive never opened a computer yet this one made it so easy to install and operate. I love it but I don’t doubt there are better options for someone who is coming from a not-so-old windows gaming laptop.

I m not sure. Many Gateway had faulty battery but worked when plugged in. But I m not sure, faulty battery might still be needed to pass energy. I haven’t tried that

Original Apple 20W Charger is the best.More powerful ones may cause it. Most important - don’t keep on charge when it is fully charged

@@alegreviews I'm not based in US, and they don't ship internationally. Fortunately i found a box pulled adapter and cable from a Note 20 Ultra user. This is best one i ever had

If specs same - they should be same, can be tiny % differents due to different ssd/ram/motherboard models, most likely unnoticeable. Screen quality may be more noticeable: colors, etc

Gotta look at specific models. They are often better for the money. Ryzens have better integrated graphics. So if you plan to do some light gaming: fortnite, minecraft etc - they might overall better. Ones that end on 30+ are better than on 20 like 7530, 7730. 7520 is bad. Most important is that laptop gotta be on sale and have at least 8gb of ram. Stuff gets updated/ outdated quickly. Newer models go on sale and are better than old ones

It’s a nice computer. I did all the drivers updates. It didn’t help. I wasted 2 hours with HP over the phone. It was a waste of time, they want me to keep me on the phone, do another Windows reinstallation etc. I had to return it to Costco. HP reliability is not what it used to be. It used to be top 1. I get more and more faulty laptops of different models from them.
