Yes but if you want to ensure a murderer is behind bars, you need to leave a paper trail. It’s no different than stalking cases or harassment cases. You have to keep reporting it so that you can establish a history of XYZ. Same goes for civil cases. Even evictions. If you have a paper trail demonstrating someone is XYZ, it’ll be much easier to make a case. Whether it’s an attempt to get a restraining order or sue someone or what have you. It’s not a perfect system. Unfortunately the police can’t do much to prevent crime.

Your not kidding. Take the time to get to know them and even more important follow the signs. Some people are just needy though. No matter what they need someone there. If they move on its only because of something major that made them do it. Usually they find the next suitable person at the moment and attach again. Ive seen it. You when you are on the outside looking in and can see dozens of good reasons why they should move on and they overlook them all for "love", you know you found one. I guess we all have to make sure to tell others at least about someone, a family member or friend saying they think someone close to them will kill them one day, just in case! I hate it when women represent wife killers. The way she went at the sister was disgusting. I know everyone has the right to a competent defence but to turn this into victim shaming is so wrong. She should be ashamed of herself and honestly look hard into the mirror at herself. Domestic Violence needs to be at the forefront of the legal system for change. This defence Attorney just set the DV for women and men back immensely. I truly hope she knows the damage she is causing in this situation. The question shouldn’t be why didn’t you go to the police, the question should be why did this man kill his wife!! 💔

I just think she was incredibly wrong in her comments and attacking the sister. But I did say everyone has the right to a competent defence, I just wish it wasn’t at the expense of making it harder for women to come forward. This is a clear example of why women don’t. Many others commented this is why she didn’t call the police. It’s a sad situation all round and it should never get to this point where someone loses their life. Very sad 😞

However, I NEVER understand why anyone thinks killing their spouse or anyone for that matter is their only recourse unless of course you are defending yourself from being killed. I truly think it was a coincidence the answer he gave and what happened here. Because if he felt that way, saying so on national television is a sure fire way to make you SUSPECT #1.

To think that people still shame women for being single and childfree when we see things like this in the media regularly is a sick kind of joke. Living alone in a house with a bunch of cuddly cats is waay better than going through this crap. Marriage was the biggest jedi trick used on women. It seems that married women need to get themselves strapped because who knows what kind of crazy your partner will be.
